“A sheep in wolf’s clothing. The initial booking was taken professionally, the make and model number of my appliance was recorded and the engineer’s appointment confirmed; all handled well and on point. The engineer arrived on the day and was professional and polite. My appliance required a new part which the engineer did not have in the van but explained that the office would order and then confirm a second visit. I paid the £89 fee for the call out but was assured any subsequent visits would not incur a charge, the only amount left to pay would be for the part on order. That evening I received a receipt for the £89. I replied to the email to ask for an update on the ordering of the new part and gave my availability for the engineer to revisit. The next day I received a blunt email to say that the part was no longer available and the job was now closed. Nothing. No phone call, no compensation, just £89 to be told Glowtech can’t fix my appliance. To offer some constructive criticism, perhaps check at the outset, when a client gives you their appliance make and model, that you can complete the job before charging them £89 for the privilege. Be wary, I’m sure I’m not the first to be caught out like this.”

“The engineer Was very polite and wore a maskAl all times. Fixed the machine and cleaned up after. He had wipes to clean the card machine. Overall a very good experience”

“The engineer didnt have a clue!! He told me he’d fixed it, i knew it wasn’t fixed due to the noise it was making. Waiting over a week for a second engineer . Not impressed!! Oh and no PPE”

“Turned up on time and repaired my washing machine. Would have given 5 stars but had wait just over a week for the engineer to come which was frustrating. I will use this company again if I have a problem with the washing machine.”

“Appointment booked with ease and came within a few days. Engineer took a part got replacement and returned 2 days but it didn’t solve the problem. Another now not produced part made the repair not possible . Apart from that they’re good”
