Would not use this company again, I was charged £105 for somebody to visit for less than 5 minutes to look at the error code and tell me they won’t repair my appliance. I think they really need to look at their pricing structure to charge for callouts and repairs separately as I feel very ripped off

I arranged a washing machine repair a week in advance and took the whole day off work, I’m self employed, was told they would attend between 8am-5pm, nobody showed up and not even a call, I had to call them and they were quite person I talked to was quite rude saying it was beyond their control and would not be able to help. I’m raging 😡 avoid this company!!!

Charged £175 for spending five mins to give me the same reason that I mentioned on the call prior to the engineer visit that the motor has failed for the cooker hood, given me a quote for new cooker hood and charging £180.00 labour to fix it, seems unfair and a complete rip off, stay away from this company.

Charged £105 for just a call out. Was told the new part would be ordered and fitted but was then informed after paying that the part was no longer available. Did not receive any compensation. Please avoid at all costs.

Avoid! Eye watering charges, little help and poor customer service. Charged over £300 for diagnostics which took a matter of minutes and no resolution leaving 2 out of 3 appliances still not fixed. Even the engineer agreed that these charges were excessive. Difficult to get hold of customers services on 3 attempts at calling. Offered a 10% discount only which is clearly inadequate. I will avoid using Glotech again both personally and professionally (rental business). Very disappointed.

I would not recommend using this company. We had to book two repairs for two separate appliances, which I did not initially think would be an issue. We gave the make and model numbers, meaning the company would have known full well the age of the appliances and the availability, or lack of, of parts. The engineer was polite, prompt etc, but told us that, given the age of the appliances they could not source parts. We were charged two sets of fees by Glotech, paid in advance, for call out fees and labour, despite the fact that no labour was provided and only one call out visit made.

Pointless waste of time. Sent one engineer out who immediately said he would need a colleague to remove the built in oven to find out why it isn’t working as it was too big for just him. I gave you the make and model number and Glotech supplied and installed the oven in 2017 so I don’t understand why this wasn’t considered before the visit. Then when I called to rebook for a follow up visit (after being advised you would call me!) I’m told that there’s no point anyone else coming out as you cannot source parts for the oven. But you don’t even know what’s wrong with it! Waiting for my refund of the call out fee and will find a competent engineer to at least diagnose the problem!

I would put zero stars if I could. Waited in all day , no show . Rang the company twice and they said he will be there by six . He wasn’t. No apology. No explanation . Don’t use them they are useless

Booked a repair, was told the engineer would be with me early in the afternoon, at 3pm I called and was told he was stuck on another job and wouldn't be attending No communication, happy that they won't be trying to repair my appliance if this is the level of service they provide

We booked this service to repair our fridge freezer on an urgent basis. Booking was made for a morning slot on Tuesday, having clearly explained the fault (with fault code) and with an understanding that the issue should be resolved on the day. The engineer finally arrived at 5pm (we were put last due to being closest to his house), and stayed for 20 minutes - he identified two issues (fan and condenser) and said replacing the fan would be an immediate fix to get us up and running again while we awaited a longer term fix from LG. He didn't have the part (despite it being clear that this is a part we would need when we called to book the appointment) but said he would come back once the part was in, and left. We then immediately received a call from head office to say the part would be two weeks, which is not what is suggested on the website and we would never ever have booked on that basis. They could have told us this when we called to make the booking. We said we did not wish to proceed on this basis. They then required full payment of £112 for a 20 minute call out, which was hours late. Afterwards, we had another company come out who confirmed that the more pressing issue was leaking refrigerant, which the engineer didn't even identify. Terrible service from start to finish. Don't do what they say they do. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately, Glotech's review system does not allow you not to give a star rating before being able to submit a review. I would not have given you a star at all. After three visit, I had to contact you after each visit to find out what was happening with my repair. Miscommunication, misinformation, inexperienced engineers, extremely poor customer service. Never again !!

We took half a day off work to wait in the 12-5 appointment. At 4:50pm we were called to be told the engineer had had to return to a previous repair and so would not be attending. My issues are: AM or PM appointments are too broad, the engineer having to revisit a job suggests he failed to do the repair the first time and the late notification - wasting a half day of leave and the entire afternoon. This is entirely unacceptable.

Absolute joke of a company, like most of these repair ones are. Cancelled at the last minute and when they did eventually come a few days later stayed 5mins flooded the floor said he couldn’t fix the washing machine and left. Would definitely not recommend just buy a new one.

This company is a joke. I booked a repair in advance with a PM slot. Due to work I couldn’t be at the property but arranged for some to be there all pm. Received a call from the guy at 9am so said he changed the booking to all day (I had not been told) I said I could get someone there in 30mins, he said 10 minutes or he’s gone. The company didn’t give two shits and offered nothing in customer service. All I would have asked for is a little more clear warning to get someone there. Dogshit customer service!!!

How is this overall score so high when the reviews are dreadful? The company passed my job to another company - VES Repairs -without notifying me. Engineer came out to fix my dishwasher today pressed one button and said that I need a new power control board and electronic operating unit. I have serious concerns about this company.

Booked a call out for a broken fridge, I said it was clearly low on refrigerant, gave the make and model. Engineer turned up, said it’s broken, said he can’t work on that brand and told me to call a specialist… still charged £118… don’t waste your money with these!

Unreliable company. Booked the appointment but the technician did not come. Even thought I was booked for 12-5pm, I called and was informed the technician came earlier which was a lie as he left no note.

Came out to look at my fridge door, said l would need a part and they would let me know. They charged me £95 for call out. Couldn’t repair it but still charged me £95 for call out. What a rip off , please don’t waste your money even calling them

After 3 weeks and 3 engineer visits I am back to square one ( £400 cost !) The company have engineers who don’t know enough about fridge freezers but pretend they do. They leave it working but after filling it with food it stops working again !Customer services department have no empathy re 3 weeks with no fridge - lots of money wasted due to throwing away and the time involved going to shops for just in time shopping. But hey they know the terms and conditions inside out Wouldn’t use ever again but I know they won’t care about that either

Engineer arrived to unblock drain hole in Samsung Freezer. Used screwdriver and pliers to chip away ice near to fragile elements. Hole unblocked, engineer left. As soon as he left I assumed the freezer was working again, but 2 hours later the freezer is not. Now have a freezer full of goods slowly defrosting and the company say they cannot return for 7 days. They also say that in the small print they are not liable for compensation. Their engineer didn't diagnose the problem, and because of their incompetance I have a freezer of damaged stock. Very angry. Do not use this company.
