Don’t waste your time with this company. Booked an A.M. appointment with them. Took time off work for their visit and they never turned up.

Absolute joke of a company initially come out quick to try to fix washer/dryer have left us 6 weeks now and lying about dates for parts to arrive.! Have asked for a refund on parts I’ve paid for. Keep away

Waited in all afternoon . Engineer arrived and fiddled with his phone after looking at serial numbers and told me our microwave needed replacement.Time spent 10 minutes at the most. This could have been done over the phone . I was then charged £105.54 for this . Told I would be contacted with a price for a new microwave and I am still waiting 4 weeks later . All a waste of time and money . I will not be using Glotech again

Totally disappointed! No service! No repairing! Whole day waiting but the technician only came for 5 mins without any checking! But then charged me £95.94! Why did I need to pay “cost of repair” fee without any checking or repairing!?

Don’t use. Would be rating 0 if possible. Engineer came with no parts, couldn’t diagnose issue and then charged us £118 for 5 mins here to tell us he doesn’t know what it is. But we should try a starter motor which he didn’t bring with him.

The engineer turned up and suggested that I buy the part, a small clip, myself as the mark-up by Glotech was high. He then showed me the part that was needed and I ordered it from the manufacturer. He never mentioned that by doing this the repair would not be covered by warranty (the terms and conditions do mention this, but who reads these?). It turned out that he had identified the wrong part so it failed. Glotech would not cover a re-repair under warranty which is fair enough. However, they would not cover a new, fully paid for, repair even though I asked them to supply all parts needed for the repair. As the repair involved supplying a new pin and clip, which Glotech would have supplied, it was disapointing that no warranty was offered. I wasn't prepared to risk their engineer getting it wrong again; a third repair and I might have well have bought a new oven.

I paid £105 for a 5-minute visit to tell me I needed a new dishwasher. Daylight robbery.

Not a very helpful experience. Engineer came and said what he thought the problem might be the solenoid and after replacement it would need a regas, said I would be contacted later with price. 5 days later after ringing them they told me that they could fit the part but hadn't got an engineer capable of doing a regas. Not very impressed it cost me £118 plus to be told that they couldn't do the job they advertise which is repairing a fridge, freezer. No chance of a partial refund even though their engineer is only partially trained.

I had a repair today and their technician caused damage to an electrical socket. They refuse to accept responsibility. The part that charged over £90 for(drain pump for dishwasher) is available at Screwfix for £35. Avoid if at all possible

Wish I had looked at these reviews before I booked this company. Nice polite chap that came out for our cooker but didn't solve the problem and cost us £123.50. Then wanted us to buy and get fitted another part which would have cost over £200 yet admitted it might not solve the problem..won't be using them ever again.

Very poor customer service. Came to fix my washing machine. Engineer claimed it was fixed but same fault present. When I phoned next day to request he come back customer services said I would need to pay again despite already having paid for the first call out. No apology issued. I will not be using this company again

We had an engineer out to do a repair on our dishwasher - an AEG Model FAVORIT34502VIO. The repair took 2 visits but after repairing on the second visit he left the re-fitting of the dishwasher in a very shoddy state along with breaking the levelling mechanism in the dishwasher itself. He had incorrectly fitted the replacement part routing it incorrectly such that it kinked the hose and the integrated dishwasher would not push far enough into it's enclosure as it was jarred against the hose and the bottom of the door of the dishwasher stuck out by over an inch with the top of the door fitting flush - yes it was on a tilt!!!. I booked for an engineer to come out and correct the faulty fitted door but TBH i lost faith with Glotech so carried out the repairs myself and cancelled the visit. This entailed. 1. removing the dishwasher after making safe 2. Re-routing the replacement inlet hose with integrated valve correctly 3. Fixing the AEG leveling mechanism on the bottom of the dishwasher 4. Removing and Straightening one of the front plastic adjustment legs which the engineer had bent when pulling the dishwasher out/pushing it back in. 5. Refitting and aligning the dishwasher correctly ensuring no kinks in hoses. suffice to say I won't be calling again.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this family-run company. Despite multiple calls and complaints over the past few weeks, the level of internal communication is virtually non-existent. It’s baffling that I am even receiving an email asking for a review, considering the lack of responsiveness and acknowledgment of the issues I raised. The situation with our Hotpoint Built-In Dishwasher has only worsened after your engineer's visit. Previously, the dishwasher was functioning adequately, assisting us daily with household chores. Now, it’s completely dead, and the company’s response has been unsatisfactory at best. Furthermore, I have serious concerns about the professionalism and integrity of your engineer. He appeared more concerned about covering his own mistakes than providing honest diagnostics. His attempt to suggest that the damage was caused by a tripped fuse box seems suspicious, especially since the burn marks and electrical smell appeared after he had already removed the skirting below the dishwasher. It’s evident that the appliance was working fine before his intervention, and the timing of the malfunction coinciding with his work raises doubts. A Hotpoint technician later confirmed that error code 15 is unrelated to the module, which was destroyed, leading to the total failure of the dishwasher. It’s concerning that your engineer’s actions seem to have caused or at least contributed to this damage, rather than fixing the issue. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with the lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability from your company. This experience has not only failed to resolve the problem but has also caused additional inconvenience and frustration. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. After having the original appointment (made online) changed 3 times alarm bells really should have started ringing about this company. The issue of the dishwasher not draining, once it has been through a cycle, therefore leaving clean water behind, started about a month ago. The technician that came out and literally took the plinth off and also looked under the sink and instantly assumed the 'problem' was to do with the plumbing (even though the company states he is not a plumber but an engineer). He did not actually examine the dishwasher or any valves. He then cable tied the waste pipe to another pipe so the water had to flow upwards! That night we put the dishwasher on and after approx 5 minutes it jammed again and did not even get to the draining stage leaving dirty water behind. This was after the technicians 'fix'. Customer service awful.
