Got in touch Friday 8th. Appointment booked for Monday 11th . Had to order part which was element in bottom oven. Had one in warehouse. Came next day to install it. Dean was was very friendly and polite. After installing he made sure that the element was working OK. Very pleased with him. Would use again. HP10 0DW

How many men does it take to change a light bulb!? Sounds like the start of a joke! In Glotechs case - three! That's assuming they were all Glotech engineers - reading the other reviews it appears they subcontract work out. That doesn't bother me too much as long as the appliance is fixed (which it was) The light in my microwave had stopped working and to be fair you have to take the microwave apart to replace it! But still, over £100!? Of which only £10-£12 was for the bulb. As mentioned previously it took three visits. First to diagnose the problem 'We'll try changing the bulb but if it still doesn't work we won't be able to get parts'. (fair enough, the microwave is pretty ancient). 2nd visit - engineer realised the wrong bulb had been ordered. A third visit was arranged after re-ordering the bulb - this was cancelled on the day. Rearranged for a couple of days later - again cancelled on the day. Finally on the third ACTUAL visit the bulb was replaced and it's working fine (I've kept the box with the part no. on it if it goes again). The engineers were friendly, courteous and efficient.

Fridge freezer problem. Great service. With risk of food loss the ability to book an appt outside of working hours. A big plus for me. Dean arrived and identified the problem (also a a day earlier than booked, another +++) ordered the part and it was fixed today by Gerry in less than 30 minutes. Clean and tidy pushed unit back and switched on . The only reason not a 5-star only because I haven't left it the 6 hours to check its all working fine as directed. Looking good. Recommend 5* if the part holds up but service GREAT recommend. (Also not a bot)

The service technician Alex was great, professional and friendly. There was a slight delay on the part of Glowtech in getting the part to him, but apart from that good service from Glowtech.

We have just paid £90 for a 5 minute visit to let us know the repair would be more than a new machine. The engineer turned up at dinner time without a pre call but he was Polite and within seconds told us the drum was worn out. Still at least we know now and will buy a new machine.

Your friendly engineer arrived around midday after giving us a 10-minute warning of his arrival. Unfortunately, rather as we expected, he confirmed that the part necessary to fix our washing machine was too expensive to justify fitting to our 10 year old machine.

Arrived following day calling 20 minutes prior to arrival with a competent engineer who diagnosed washing machine internal leak within minutes and repaired / refitted hose quickly. Completed numerous cycle tests and refitted under worktop. Only downside was not being informed whether arriving am or pm. Will definitely use again but hopefully will never need to.

Thanks for arriving on time, pity you weren't able to repair my old washing machine, as it wasn't economically viable, thanks all the same, I realise you have lots of costs and that if the repair was economical, the almost £90 would have been more than well spent. Regards, Bruno

I found your engineer quite patronising He proceeded to tell me I would be better off with a front loader for economic reasons This machine of mine has served me well for over 20 years It is not for your engineer to tell customers what they should or should not be doing
