Please read before you call this company to help you . They have sent me an engineer to fix my tumble dryer and he was unable to tell me what was the issue with it, he was guessing that it might be the engine without testing it just listening with his ears for any noise, or the control board same not testing it with anything. Then he said we will change the engine and if is not that we’ll change the control board , really? Paid the bill for nothing 98£ just for the call out and then get a quotation of another 300£ to replace the engine again he was not sure if that was the issue, how can someone pay this bill and not getting a guarantee as that is the issue? Not recommended to anyone it’s just to rip off the customers as you have to pay for the call out as per term and conditions they have. Please look for someone more reliable and trustworthy.

AVOID. The engineer was rude and verging on threatening to my wife, making her feel very uncomfortable in her own home. Even I didn't feel comfortable with him there in truth. Then, within a week, one of the hob burners stopped working again, so I called up to ask them to send someone out to fix it properly, and was told there would be a further £66 subsequent callout charge! Absolutely no understanding or discretion from the manager Imogen, who just kept repeating that it is in the T&Cs. Shocking service, and shocking customer service.

Spoke to someone yesterday about the issue I am having with my fridge freezer. Got booked in today for a repair. Haven’t heard anything today so called back and there was no record of my booking. Went through the booking process again and was asked all the same questions as yesterday. And I have in my call log that I spoke to someone yesterday on the same number for a similar time period. Anyway found out today, they can’t even help… stayed home today waiting round. Time wasters!!

DO NOT USE! The operative arrived, told me the freezer was 20 years old. He couldn’t get parts. He only checked the self test when I asked him to. I later managed to decode the FD number, 0005 and found it was manufactured in 2020 hence 6 years old. Still don’t know what is wrong with it. He left and charged my £99! It’s impossible to use their complaints system. Won’t accept text due to ‘security issue’ Disgusting Why don’t you do something about this Bosch?

DO NOT BOOK WITH GLOTECH! The pricing structure isn’t fair, they will just pass you on to a local provider, and just want to take your money! I booked for a CDA wine cooler repair - which looked very reassuring on the website (we can fix this etc) and when I booked it over the phone, Glotech didn’t ask for any info about the make or model or the issue… I ended up paying £120 for someone to come and tell me in 5 minutes that the compressor is broken and that CDA look to have discontinued the part, so nothing they can do but I still had to pay the full amount. I asked Glopoint if they could offer a partial refund but they said there was nothing they can do. Too late for me, and have learned an expensive lesson - but wanted to post here in case this helps anyone! Would check your make and model and look for someone local who will charge just for the diagnosis. Glotech - it was obviously in your interest to just take my booking and not offer any partial refund, but I won’t be booking again and will be telling as many people that I can about the poor service!

Do not trust them with your repairs. Engineers do not turn up when they are supposed to, when they do arrive, they are not experienced enough to identify and fix a fault that was found and fixed by another company in less than 5 minutes. When raising this as a complaint with the head office, my concerns have been ignored and when not wanting to pay for the poor ‘service’ received, rather than trying to make this right they claimed they had emailed and called but could provide no proof. They then sent a threatening letter telling me that I had 7 days to pay or it would be sent to a debt collection agency. When I called them minutes after I received the letter they refused to discuss the matter telling me that they had already referred the matter to the debt collection agency. I was then forced to pay £130 for a repair that never happened which included a £30 admin charge. At the same time I have sent an email asking for a reduction in this charge to reflect the poor service. I received a reply very quickly telling me the matter is now closed with no attempt to respond to any of my requests.

Oven repair update - Reference No: 13014 ... I used VES repair for an oven repair... The only good thing about Glotech is they turned up on the right day. The technician spent 15mins to look at my fridge freezer! When I asked for a report I was sent a shoddy couple of sentences on a email with several spelling mistakes, not a report at all. I was Promptly charged £109 for a service which didn’t exist! What a Royal rip off!

The only good thing about Glotech is they turned up on the right day. The technician spent 15mins to look at my fridge freezer! When I asked for a report I was sent a shoddy couple of sentences on a email with several spelling mistakes, not a report at all. I was Promptly charged £109 for a service which didn’t exist! I paid for an engineer visit today to fix a 'tap' error message on my dishwasher that has worked perfectly for years. After only a cursory look underneath (where I didn't see any water leak) he said there was a leak and I needed a new dishwasher and Biotech could order me one. I should have looked up how to fix this error which I now see seems often to be a simple enough one and eminently doable. The engineer didn't suggest anything else could be checked like the hose etc. (or do any other checks) and just tried to persuade me to purchase a new machine. I agree with others - this is not a reputable company and just wants to make money persuading customers to buy new machines from them. Highly unrecommended.

Do not use this company! They charge upfront then make an excuse to leave before you can talk to them then expect you to pay the call out charge again! They went to fix a small leak in the washing machine seal. The machine was usable just a small leak. They half took out the rubber seal then said the spare part was the worn one (we supplied) engineer left before I could speak to him. He was there (10 minutes) I call ed there office for a price on the rubber seal and was told they would call me back. They didn’t call me back and my daughter waited in expecting the engineer to return. No phone call back from the office. Awful service! I called them at the end of the day and offered to pay for the spare part but they insisted I play another £100 for the engineer to go back. I asked that they return the washing machine to its working condition by putting the original seal back and they refused. I said I would leave some feedback and wouldn’t be using them again. The next day they called and said they would return to fix the new seal of I paid for the seal and took down my reviews. I will not do that as the company are complete scammers and people need to be warned.

Appointment arrange to fix dishwasher, indicator light flashing and dishwasher not working. Technician arrived, who topped up salt and rinse aid. He started machine and saw that it was running, charged £148 and left. Fault still exists and as I do not want this company to return, I am now £148 out of pocket and still have a non-functioning dishwasher. The technician didn't wait long enough for the fault to occur.

The engineer, Terry came to fix my Bosch fridge that wasn't getting cold. He said he had fixed it but afterwards it got colder and colder until some of the contents were freezing although I tried all settings. I made an appointment for him to come and fix, emptied the fridge and waited in all day. Late afternoon I got a call to say the engineer was not coming that day and wouldn't come for 5 days! As I had no confidence Glotech would fix the fridge or even turn up I decided to replace the fridge instead. Really poor service.

I believe this company operates a scam. Our experience is the same as the majority of reviews. I went with them after cursory look at trust pilot as I was in a rush - I saw 4.5 stars and thought the website looked decent. When the engineer showed (after no-show the day before) he guessed the problem without inspecting the dishwasher properly (should have been a red flag!). I went off to work in a different room. He then said it actually needed a new pump. Went off to get one from his van, worked on it for a little longer and then said: all fixed! Charged me £169 for the part, and went on his way. I tested it and after getting almost through the cycle found it still didn't work - same Err24 code. I called them to rebook a further call out, and was told I might need to pay more money if a different fault was found. I tried to say I wouldn't be paying more if the original problem was misdiagnosed and the part was incorrectly installed. At which point the customer service person just carried on talking over me to say it was all booked in. Alarm bells started ringing so I had a another look at the reviews and found loads of reviews saying virtually the same thing. It seems to be a racket, charging people for parts they don't necessarily need - no accurate diagnosis of the problem. I cancelled them coming back out as I don't trust them not to do the same again and have booked it with a reputable local repairs company. Wish I'd taken more time to research - don't be fooled by the glossy website and customer service!

staff are trained to lie to their customers. I’ve had 3 cancellations, they say the engineer is sick then he had an emergency then he had a medical appointment…. LIES. They Keep rescheduling and then call on the day giving yet another lie. We paid upfront the first day when the engineer came very quickly. Guessed what the problem is and ordered the part. They are booked to come and put the part on. I’m very confident they will cancel on the day again. I will then take it further, they will not get away with treating us this way!!!

Very expensive charge for engineer spending 2 minutes guess the fault. No equipment investigation just assumption. Absolute waste of money and would not call them again. Ended up also passing for their 2 hour parking fee when this engineer spent few minutes not even bothering to properly check the fault. Terrible!

Had these out to change a motor on my washing machine, they ordered part on my behalf. Told me I had to pay for motor straight away and pay engineer on day for call out charge, which was fine. Engineer came as promised just to be told that they have ordered wrong motor, he checked on computer and said there was no alternative and advised me to get new machine. Which I done. Now I contacted them on following work day about refund one the £200+ motor, was told had to wait as person to do this was on holiday. Now a week later they refunded me £96, I contacted them to be told I still have to pay call out, even though this was there mistake that wrong motor was ordered, so basically I’m pay over £100 for there engineer to tell me he has wrong motor buy a new machine. This is totally ridiculous, now they won’t answer messages or phone call, so I feel I’ve been robbed. Would not recommend this company for anything and will be sorting out ways to get full reimbursement
