“Absolute bunch of jokers. £100 to be told they needed to come back with 2 people to take integrated fridge out to assess what was wrong. No follow up with any further quotes. Ever feel like you have been cheated?”

“I booked a next day visit online on a Monday. Tuesday morning I had a call to say the Engineer could not come until Thursday. At the visit he said a part needed to be ordered. I paid him. He came a week later and announced another part was now required- I paid for that too. A further week later and he came back a third time only to say the circuit board was now “blown”. I had to buy a brand new machine and Glotech would only refund me for the second part. While I understand call out must be paid for, they have failed to refund the cost of the first part. They were no help at all. I’m giving one star as the Engineer was polite and apologetic.”

“Baffled. Guy turned up as announced. Read the error code and confirmed what we could both see: F24. There are at least three different parts that can cause this (including dirty contactd on the hearing relay which can just be cleaned) and simple diagnostics are required to establish which part is at fault. Instead the technician did no diagnostics and announced two of the three possible parts should be replaced - quoted inflated prices for them and left. Full visit 2 minutes. Price 148£. Not resourceful and potentially a repair bill that exceeds the original purchase price of the dishwasher.”

“My engineer arrived told me I required a part for my Miele dryer. He told me he would text me the part number so I could order it and he would install it. Never received text, asked Gotech for the part number no answer. Not worth the £148 I paid for 30 minutes.”

“Ordered a washing machine on Friday and was pressured into placing the order quickly to secure delivery and installation on Monday. I paid and booked everything, only to be told on Monday that they couldn’t fulfil it and that delivery would now be later in the week at the earliest. At best, this is incredibly poor planning. At worst, it feels like a tactic to secure orders by promising delivery dates they can’t honour. Either way, it’s a terrible way to treat customers. To top it off, I found the exact same washing machine at Currys for £155 less, with delivery and installation available on the same revised date. So, in the end, they did me a favour. I saved £155 and took my business elsewhere. Would absolutely not recommend.”

“Do not use this company - very poor service on my Meile dishwaher - will charge you £150 for a call out and then can't fix the problem - Not even capable of ordering the part needed as its only a Meile specialist can do it - so why come out in the first place and waste my money - complete rip off -”

“Total waste of £100. Booked to repair a Samsung fridge. Engineer arrived. We paid for a parking permit for them but they stayed for less than ten minutes. The fridge was working but does not circulate the cool air to the top. He looked at it and said two parts needed replacing and they would email us to arrange this. He took our money and left. We were then emailed to say the compressor was not available and they recommended buying a new fridge. Feedback for the company is that you need to get more details and check if you are able to find the major/most common parts for the fridge make otherwise you are just conning customers into paying for something that you could never have repaired. I would not recommend using this company. They subcontracted to a company called VES repair.”

“Not great. Engineer was nice and friendly but company seems really disorganised and nobody returns calls. Came out and fixed it but same problem still exists 🤷‍♂️ What a waste of £200”

“Terrible and appalling service Gave serial number model and problems along with a detailed description. Engineer arrived and in 2 minutes told me what I already knew and information I had provided. Charged £99 for 2 minutes and I had taken a day off work for this and then I had to call him back as he screwed the top of the machine back on with the plug inside. Will go to Domestic and General now. Do not use this company.”

“I just had my Hotpoint washing machine repaired by Danny. Danny was polite,prifessional and demonstrated a high level of knowledge in what he does. Took time to explain what he was doing and demonstrated twice to show me that the machine door was now working, the lock was engaging and the washing machine could be switched on and off with the drum rotating as it should.”

“One star because I can’t give zero. Call out on washing machine to sort out a coin which had passed under the drum during a wash. I gave the call centre all the details on the washing machine model make and serial number so they knew exactly what they were dealing with. Before booking an engineer I asked if this fix was possible and I was told that the engineer would certainly take a look. Engineer turned up on time and did exactly that had a look and explained that due to the model of the machine there was nothing that could be done so a new washing machine was required. I understand that a coin in the machine is our fault but as the company knew all details of the machine so should have known it was unrepairable so no need for an engineer as there was nothing he could do, yet led me on to book one and charged for the call out. Will not use this company again…”

“Ray Ramsey came to repair our dishwasher he was absolutely fantastic. He arrived at the time he said he would. He also phoned to let us know he was on his way prior to the appointment. While he was with us he also replaced the seal on our washing machine. He went above and beyond to help myself and my husband. Highly recommended. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Glotech repaired our fault in May 2026 - the same fault has now occurred 4 months later. They sent someone out the next day - we was here for three minutes and wants me to pay a further call out charge for THE SAME FAULT WHICH CLEARLY WASN’T REPAIRED PROPERLY IN MAY. Really upset and disappointed with today’s events”

“Save yourself the call out fee and put it towards a new appliance. Despite the company knowing we had a Rangemaster Induction that’s 10yrs old, they still gave us the impression that it’s something their engineers are well equipped to deal with and can source parts! He spent an hour, I felt he was clutching at straws with his diagnostics. Initially telling us it’s because there’s a loose screw. Eventually said it needed a part that he couldn’t find on system. To later be called from office to say the part required (which they can’t tell us what the part is, or give us the part number), but it will cost £1500! Almost pricing themselves out for me to refuse repair. It’s a good earner going round charging £130 call out fee with no intention of repairs.”

“One star because zero isn't an option. Engineer called, stated door seal on freezer needing replacing, and parts were readily available. Ordered and paid for part, told they had been discontinued. Took four days to have this money returned. Was advised a full replacement of fridge freezer would be required and I would receive an estimate. Defrosted the freezer myself, adjusted door and what a surprise all in good working order. Requested refund, informed I would need to video the inside of freezer and an engineer would need to attend to confirm. Same engineer who, unsurprisingly, claimed he fixed the door when he first visited. All further requests for a refund dismissed. Absolute shambles.”

“Job 1346391 Ashton Road, Clay Cross. Oven Repair. The service was excellent from the moment I spoke to Glotech to make an appointment until the job was completed. Andrew Pickles the engineer sent was very professional and identified the issue quickly, ordered the part required, which arrived the next day. The office arranged for Andrew to come the next day to complete the job. The office staff were very efficient and helpful. Andrew Pickles was excellent and very respectful and made me feel at ease. I will certainly use Glotech again if I have any more issues with my kitchen appliances and I will request Andrew to carry out the repair, if available. Thank you. Carole Rainbird”
