Do not use this company! They charge upfront then make an excuse to leave before you can talk to them then expect you to pay the call out charge again! They went to fix a small leak in the washing machine seal. The machine was usable just a small leak. They half took out the rubber seal then said the spare part was the worn one (we supplied) engineer left before I could speak to him. He was there (10 minutes) I call ed there office for a price on the rubber seal and was told they would call me back. They didn’t call me back and my daughter waited in expecting the engineer to return. No phone call back from the office. Awful service! I called them at the end of the day and offered to pay for the spare part but they insisted I play another £100 for the engineer to go back. I asked that they return the washing machine to its working condition by putting the original seal back and they refused. I said I would leave some feedback and wouldn’t be using them again. The next day they called and said they would return to fix the new seal of I paid for the seal and took down my reviews. I will not do that as the company are complete scammers and people need to be warned.

What a blessing to have the expertise of A4 Kitchen Appliances engineers to take care of your domestic appliances. They are so helpful & professional. Recently replaced my oven & fridge/freezer removing the old ones too & at a competitive price! It took less than an hour leaving my home spotless. I highly recommend them.

Appointment arrange to fix dishwasher, indicator light flashing and dishwasher not working. Technician arrived, who topped up salt and rinse aid. He started machine and saw that it was running, charged £148 and left. Fault still exists and as I do not want this company to return, I am now £148 out of pocket and still have a non-functioning dishwasher. The technician didn't wait long enough for the fault to occur.

The engineer, Terry came to fix my Bosch fridge that wasn't getting cold. He said he had fixed it but afterwards it got colder and colder until some of the contents were freezing although I tried all settings. I made an appointment for him to come and fix, emptied the fridge and waited in all day. Late afternoon I got a call to say the engineer was not coming that day and wouldn't come for 5 days! As I had no confidence Glotech would fix the fridge or even turn up I decided to replace the fridge instead. Really poor service.

I believe this company operates a scam. Our experience is the same as the majority of reviews. I went with them after cursory look at trust pilot as I was in a rush - I saw 4.5 stars and thought the website looked decent. When the engineer showed (after no-show the day before) he guessed the problem without inspecting the dishwasher properly (should have been a red flag!). I went off to work in a different room. He then said it actually needed a new pump. Went off to get one from his van, worked on it for a little longer and then said: all fixed! Charged me £169 for the part, and went on his way. I tested it and after getting almost through the cycle found it still didn't work - same Err24 code. I called them to rebook a further call out, and was told I might need to pay more money if a different fault was found. I tried to say I wouldn't be paying more if the original problem was misdiagnosed and the part was incorrectly installed. At which point the customer service person just carried on talking over me to say it was all booked in. Alarm bells started ringing so I had a another look at the reviews and found loads of reviews saying virtually the same thing. It seems to be a racket, charging people for parts they don't necessarily need - no accurate diagnosis of the problem. I cancelled them coming back out as I don't trust them not to do the same again and have booked it with a reputable local repairs company. Wish I'd taken more time to research - don't be fooled by the glossy website and customer service!

staff are trained to lie to their customers. I’ve had 3 cancellations, they say the engineer is sick then he had an emergency then he had a medical appointment…. LIES. They Keep rescheduling and then call on the day giving yet another lie. We paid upfront the first day when the engineer came very quickly. Guessed what the problem is and ordered the part. They are booked to come and put the part on. I’m very confident they will cancel on the day again. I will then take it further, they will not get away with treating us this way!!!

Very expensive charge for engineer spending 2 minutes guess the fault. No equipment investigation just assumption. Absolute waste of money and would not call them again. Ended up also passing for their 2 hour parking fee when this engineer spent few minutes not even bothering to properly check the fault. Terrible!

Had these out to change a motor on my washing machine, they ordered part on my behalf. Told me I had to pay for motor straight away and pay engineer on day for call out charge, which was fine. Engineer came as promised just to be told that they have ordered wrong motor, he checked on computer and said there was no alternative and advised me to get new machine. Which I done. Now I contacted them on following work day about refund one the £200+ motor, was told had to wait as person to do this was on holiday. Now a week later they refunded me £96, I contacted them to be told I still have to pay call out, even though this was there mistake that wrong motor was ordered, so basically I’m pay over £100 for there engineer to tell me he has wrong motor buy a new machine. This is totally ridiculous, now they won’t answer messages or phone call, so I feel I’ve been robbed. Would not recommend this company for anything and will be sorting out ways to get full reimbursement

I booked for Friday 13th they did not turn up. I rebooked for Monday 16th pm they did not turn up. I booked again for Thursday 19th pm. They turned up at 9.35 and I was not there and they declined to come at the time of the written appointment confirmation. 12-5pm. Don’t use them, they are chaotic.

I wouldn’t use Glotech again. We are nearly £500 out of pocket and the appliance is still not working correctly, in fact it’s in a worse state than when i initially called them. Despite fitting the ‘required new part’ They told me that I would have to pay a call out charge for the third call out to try and undo what they have done. This is not good customer service. Engineers were lovely but told me two very different things. Stay clear

The engineer that arrived to investigate heating up problems with our 12 year old Neff built in oven, spent no more than 10 minutes on site. He gave what seemed to me a cursory investigation and told me that the fan and element was working and everything was in order. English was clearly not his first language and we had difficulty in understanding what he was saying and he had difficulty understanding our questions. We did not feel reassured by him at all. Very poor. Our oven still takes an age to achieve the set temperature.

I would give zero if available. My 90 year old mum had an engineer visit today who plugged machine back in and it worked. Charging £148 for visit loaded machine with bath towel and started a wash opened the door at end but failed to check the towel had been spun. Probably most of us know machines with such a small load would never spin. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO CHARGE AN ELDERLY PERSON WITHOUT CHECKING THE JOB DONE. DISGUSTING!!!!

Last month our dishwasher was showing a fault number which I told glotech when i booked an appointment. Had to pay £148 in advance. We were told the engineer would come between 8am and 5pm. He arrived after 5pm.He was here for 10 minutes max. He found a tiny bit of a straw and said that was the problem despite nothing to do with the fault displayed.We put the dishwasher on the next morning and had exactly the same problem and same fault number displayed.Rang immediately and was told that we would have to pay more money for another visit and for parts which they could not guarantee would solve the problem.We are elderly and i found this company very intimidating and unhelpful. I seldom write reviews but felt i needed to on this occasion. We decided it would be cheaper to get a new dishwasher,having already lost £148. I do not recommend using this company.

Booked an appointment on 29/12/2025 for water not feeding dishwasher; 1st visit on 08/01/2026, engineer unable to remove the skirting board below the integrated dishwasher and left without doing anything and requested the skirting board to be removed; 2nd visit on 28/01/2026 after skirting removed, engineer unable to find out what wrong with the dishwasher and unable to tell what is wrong with the machine and left without any action. refer voice msg from tenant attached. No report from Glotech received, their promises on their supervisor will call me back - no call received. To be just felt being scammed.

When I booked the service I was invited to specify morning or afternoon appointment but after I had paid upfront for the appointment I was advised I could only have an anytime on the day appointment. I had to wait in all day for the engineer to arrive at 4pm. He couldn’t fix the problem so I had to pay £168 for the part and an anytime on the day appointment. The firm gave me an appointment for a further ten days ahead then cancelled that appointment with a further week delay. I was able to purchase the part on line for £25 and cancelled my appointment. I was only refunded half the £168. I had paid over £250, wasted one whole day and had been without my appliance for three weeks before getting a cheaper and far better service elsewhere.

Do not use Glotech! We booked a repair before Christmas for our dishwasher. They then subcontracted out the work to what apparently is the only engineer in south london who came over on the 22nd Dec. He said he didn’t have the part and he would order it and come back first week of Jan. We paid and he is yet to come back, not answering his phone, then the one time he did he again failed to show up. Meaning two wasted days off work with still no repair and no working dishwasher. Glotech have just wiped their hands of it and said it’s not their problem and would not send out another engineer and would not compensate us even though we are out of pocket. We called GloTech on so many occasions asking to speak to management and no manager ever calling us back. Frankly shocking customer service for what could be so much better with communication and ultimately someone that they vet and think can work for the company it’s their fault and yet they have devolved themselves of responsibility. I wouldn’t ever use this company again and don’t recommended anyone else does.

Would not recommend. Terrible communication, long lead times, money up front, waiting waiting waiting for a call back. Avoid. Job number 1297702, if anyone is reading this and would like to try and salvage my option of Glotech
