Terrible just interested in taking your money. Dishwasher wouldn’t drain sent an engineer who is not employed by them. He just checked the filters which we had already done and found a pea so left after that without waiting to see if this was the problem. It wasn’t and then trying to complain is impossible quoting their terms and conditions . You can’t get your money back and so they book a return visit between 8 and 5pm and won’t inform you on the day what time the engineer is coming. In the end I cancelled as I didn’t trust that I would have anything other than more grief.

Telephoned in Thursday 19th Jan for an engineer to call to look at and replace element in Stoves cooker. Arranged for Tuesday 20 th the only free day we had as I was told engineer will call between 8am & 5 pm. Usually have our daily meal at lunch time but moved this to the evening as didn’t want the oven to get hot if engineer called over lunch time. I telephoned in @ 2.30 to get an update only to be told, engineer won’t be with you today as van broke down this morning. I asked why someone didn’t call me to let me know, and the reply was, we have only just been told. Terrible customer service. My day wasted and at 81 I can’t afford to waste days.

paid for a part repair man came and he said cant repair it and only there for for 5mins and have to pay £90 for labour and did not get the part back.....total fraud. do not use

Don't use this company is my advice, like lots of the reviews here I have had a terrible experience. I asked for a quote to replace an oven door. This was ignored and they sent an engineer to 'pop round and get the model details'. I was then quoted a price which was as much as buying a complete new oven! When I (obviously) declined I was charged over £100 for the privilege of receiving the ridiculous quote. When I refused to pay they set debt collectors on to me threatening me with court proceedings. No clarity, and the worst customer service / unethical trading practices I have encountered for years. Absolute bandits. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Don’t use. There is a good chance you will just ended up being charged for a part that never comes and you are out to of pocket.

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel the need to be honest about this company. We booked a service for our dishwasher the week before Christmas, it’s still not fixed.(17th Jan) Glotech sent out a sub contractor who came out promptly, dismantled the machine, told us they ordered a part and the Guy hasn’t been back. I keep calling Glotech and they said it’s not their issue as our contract is with this new sub contractor! Firstly I called you, Glotech, not some sub contractor. I’m sure I’d find that you can do this legally if I read page 25 on the small print but if this is the case, the people you send should be a legitimate professional company. The sub contractor firstly ignored my calls for weeks. Then said he’d be out last week on Tuesday and didn’t appear. I called Glotech to hear their new excuse this week and they told me the guy is having a week off! These guys are anything but professional. Glotech please don’t reply with some delivery delay excuse, the dishwasher is a Neff not some obscure brand.

I had arranged for an engineer for January 13th between 12.00 and 17.00. Read the t&c's and accepted. After the confirmation pre call stating the engineer would be there between 8 and 5 and could i confirm the component model. Already on the on line booking i should of anticipated that what proceeded was going to happen. The engineer arrives takes a photo of the serial number sticker on the inside of the fridge touches the inside of the fridge and states that needs re-gassing. He would get the office contact me to arrange another engineer to come and do, that's £109, even though get a quote on line states £90 inc vat. The office does not ring me until i chase some 24hrs later to be told we cannot help any further do not offer that service anymore. Great piece of customer care, would not see many of those on your review page would you. Thanks for nothing. I work in the retail industry and cannot believe these things still happen.

Do not use. £210 out of pocket. Booked a dishwasher repair. Their local engineer said I needed a part which I paid for and he would come back. It's been 6 weeks. Impossible to contact him. When I do get hold of him , he doesn't show up. Glotech Customer Service doesn't seem to think they are responsible and tells me to contact him.

be carefull as this repair company say they dont do a callout charge but if an engineer comes out to you you will be charged the full labour charge even if the item can not be repaired and the engineer was with you only 5 mins,

If I could I would leave 0 stars. I called and told them what the problem was heat pump failure on my Samsung tumble dryer. 2 men game perfectly lovely guys but after 20 mins they told me it was heat pump failure and not something they could repair. Furious I had to pay £149 to be told what I already knew & they couldn’t fix it anyway. Avoid!!!!

Booked a fridge repair online with Glotech for today and chose between 8.00am and 1.pm which was confirmed by email from them. Never arrived and when rang to query was told they had booked next week for the visit. Day off work wasted by Glotech’s incompetence. Use other repair firms!

Booked an engineer online for a fridge repair. Picked a date from one offered on the website. Partner stayed home from work to meet the engineer. Received a phone call at 9am that morning to say that they didn't have any engineers in the area that day and offered me a slot in week's time. I asked why they offered engineer service slots on days with no available engineers. They didn't have an answer, just repeated that no-one was in the area. I asked if they understood how irritating it was to take a day off work for an engineer that doesn't exist. They repeated that they had no engineers.

Mt son needed a repair to his washing machine. The person was really nice, but the parts were not there when they said. They have come 5 times and STILL did not have the parts. It has taken THREE MONTHS and it's still not done It has been rubbish service and I don't think he should be asked to pay for a penny of it. They have a baby and washing clothes has been impossible. I would never consider a Miele machine simply because of the abysmal service . Totally unimpressed with the shoddy attention.

Came one week later than organised Stayed 5 minutes to tell me my item was scrap. Charged me £108.17 for 5 minutes to tell me it couldn’t be fixed Not good for a single female. Avoid at all cost

Made booking to repair Fisher & Paykel Fridge Freezer on the Monday Dec 15 - leaking water - and appointment booked for Friday Dec 19, during the morning. Engineer would phone on the day to confirm more accurate slot. In the morning they phoned to say appointment would be afternoon due to over-run of previous appointment(s). In the afternoon phoned to day they they would not be coming. Would I like to re-book appointment for after Christmas? No, was the answer. Poor experience.

Your engineer called diagnoses the problem and said he would have to return to remedy the fault with a colleague and took the money. The office would be in touch with a quote and arrange a date. Office contacted me and said it cannot be fixed. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent an engineer round who diagnosed a different fault and fixed it. It was the fan. He was here leas than 30 minutes. Appliance has worked perfectly since. He said the original diagnosis was completely wrong. Your engineer clearly did not know what he was talking about.

I am very disappointed with Glotech. I first contacted you at the beginning of November and five visits later and after paying out £197.99 and it is now the end of December I am no further forward and now you say you can't fix the problem. You sent one person who didn't have a clue what he was doing, he couldn't even remove the inside sections of the freezer. The other guy that attended all the other visits was very good. He said that one of the motors was faulty and need replacing which I have also paid for. When the past cam it was the incorrect part so I had to wait again for the correct part to come. He fitted the new part and within a day I still had the same fault FF E coming up. After the final visit I was told that a technician from Glotech would cal me in a couple of days. I waited 5 days with no call so I called your customer services who was dreadful, rude and unhelpful. in asked why had no one contacted me and he said he was just about to call me. (Yer Whatever) Know one was going to call me. I would like a call from a supervisor to discuss how badly I have been treated. I have now had to book an appointment with LG direct and pay out more money for something that could have been sorted out after the first visit. This has been a very poor service.

Pleasant engineer called as arranged but despite having explained when booking the call exactly which model and machine was faulty and what was wrong and what was required he had not been briefed and was not able to complete the repair all because he was not carrying a rubber washer which was required to make a repair. All very frustrating and expensive. Certainly wouldn’t use the company again.

After my initial phone contact with Glotech, it took five engineer calls over five weeks before the repair was completed. In the process I wasted hours of my time and there was no empathy or understanding of my frustration from the call handlers, simply platitudes. There was no real diagnosis of the breakdown, simply someone with a screwdriver replacing bits, hoping that it would then work. The final engineer who came though was excellent (Wassim Abdoalraham) and if you're fortunate enough to get him, then you're fortunate. Otherwise avoid using this company, where 15% of their reviews are 1 star. They are certainly not customer focused.

The repair man told me my dishwasher was working, the error code had disappeared from the display so I put a dishwasher clean programme on before he left. An hour later I realised the machine had not been fixed as the error code had again appeared on my dishwasher. The error code had just been cleared which I can do myself by shutting off the water supply and turning the machine off. I am not convinced by this service at all and cancelled a return visit.
