be carefull as this repair company say they dont do a callout charge but if an engineer comes out to you you will be charged the full labour charge even if the item can not be repaired and the engineer was with you only 5 mins,

If I could I would leave 0 stars. I called and told them what the problem was heat pump failure on my Samsung tumble dryer. 2 men game perfectly lovely guys but after 20 mins they told me it was heat pump failure and not something they could repair. Furious I had to pay £149 to be told what I already knew & they couldn’t fix it anyway. Avoid!!!!

Booked a fridge repair online with Glotech for today and chose between 8.00am and 1.pm which was confirmed by email from them. Never arrived and when rang to query was told they had booked next week for the visit. Day off work wasted by Glotech’s incompetence. Use other repair firms!

Booked an engineer online for a fridge repair. Picked a date from one offered on the website. Partner stayed home from work to meet the engineer. Received a phone call at 9am that morning to say that they didn't have any engineers in the area that day and offered me a slot in week's time. I asked why they offered engineer service slots on days with no available engineers. They didn't have an answer, just repeated that no-one was in the area. I asked if they understood how irritating it was to take a day off work for an engineer that doesn't exist. They repeated that they had no engineers.

Mt son needed a repair to his washing machine. The person was really nice, but the parts were not there when they said. They have come 5 times and STILL did not have the parts. It has taken THREE MONTHS and it's still not done It has been rubbish service and I don't think he should be asked to pay for a penny of it. They have a baby and washing clothes has been impossible. I would never consider a Miele machine simply because of the abysmal service . Totally unimpressed with the shoddy attention.

Came one week later than organised Stayed 5 minutes to tell me my item was scrap. Charged me £108.17 for 5 minutes to tell me it couldn’t be fixed Not good for a single female. Avoid at all cost

Made booking to repair Fisher & Paykel Fridge Freezer on the Monday Dec 15 - leaking water - and appointment booked for Friday Dec 19, during the morning. Engineer would phone on the day to confirm more accurate slot. In the morning they phoned to say appointment would be afternoon due to over-run of previous appointment(s). In the afternoon phoned to day they they would not be coming. Would I like to re-book appointment for after Christmas? No, was the answer. Poor experience.

Your engineer called diagnoses the problem and said he would have to return to remedy the fault with a colleague and took the money. The office would be in touch with a quote and arrange a date. Office contacted me and said it cannot be fixed. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent an engineer round who diagnosed a different fault and fixed it. It was the fan. He was here leas than 30 minutes. Appliance has worked perfectly since. He said the original diagnosis was completely wrong. Your engineer clearly did not know what he was talking about.

I am very disappointed with Glotech. I first contacted you at the beginning of November and five visits later and after paying out £197.99 and it is now the end of December I am no further forward and now you say you can't fix the problem. You sent one person who didn't have a clue what he was doing, he couldn't even remove the inside sections of the freezer. The other guy that attended all the other visits was very good. He said that one of the motors was faulty and need replacing which I have also paid for. When the past cam it was the incorrect part so I had to wait again for the correct part to come. He fitted the new part and within a day I still had the same fault FF E coming up. After the final visit I was told that a technician from Glotech would cal me in a couple of days. I waited 5 days with no call so I called your customer services who was dreadful, rude and unhelpful. in asked why had no one contacted me and he said he was just about to call me. (Yer Whatever) Know one was going to call me. I would like a call from a supervisor to discuss how badly I have been treated. I have now had to book an appointment with LG direct and pay out more money for something that could have been sorted out after the first visit. This has been a very poor service.

Pleasant engineer called as arranged but despite having explained when booking the call exactly which model and machine was faulty and what was wrong and what was required he had not been briefed and was not able to complete the repair all because he was not carrying a rubber washer which was required to make a repair. All very frustrating and expensive. Certainly wouldn’t use the company again.

After my initial phone contact with Glotech, it took five engineer calls over five weeks before the repair was completed. In the process I wasted hours of my time and there was no empathy or understanding of my frustration from the call handlers, simply platitudes. There was no real diagnosis of the breakdown, simply someone with a screwdriver replacing bits, hoping that it would then work. The final engineer who came though was excellent (Wassim Abdoalraham) and if you're fortunate enough to get him, then you're fortunate. Otherwise avoid using this company, where 15% of their reviews are 1 star. They are certainly not customer focused.

The repair man told me my dishwasher was working, the error code had disappeared from the display so I put a dishwasher clean programme on before he left. An hour later I realised the machine had not been fixed as the error code had again appeared on my dishwasher. The error code had just been cleared which I can do myself by shutting off the water supply and turning the machine off. I am not convinced by this service at all and cancelled a return visit.

Hotpoint washing machine failure to drain repaired, Bristol. We had George come along promptly and fixed this for us, he was friendly and professional and did an excellent job in fixing the problem. Will definitely use them again. Good value for money. Thank you.

Glotech has no Neff manufacturer infomation that they claim to have and took on the Oven repair even though I gave them the fault code which they had no infomation on then guessed at a few things ,said they cant fix it and kept the money I paid for the repair. Do not use them they dont know anything

I gave Glotech the error numbers on my Miele hob and they told me it would need a new cooling system. When the engineer arrived he was very apologetic saying he should never have been sent to our property as the parts for my hob were obsolete. I also asked the engineer for a quote for a new appliance but no one bothered to contact me with a quote. I just received numerous (rather rude) telephone calls saying I had to pay for the call out charge. I would not use them again as they just send engineers irrespective of whether they can mend your appliance or not. What bad business not to bother to quote for a new appliance.

Our Fridge Freezer failed. I contacted Glotech and received a response very quickly specifying date, time and a callout charge for a diagnosis of fault(s). William Strudwick arrived promptly on the agreed date and time, proceeded to investigate and confidently diagnosed the problems. William was professional, clearly knowledgeable and explained the faults in a clear and concise manner. A fixed price was agreed and paid that included necessary spare parts and their fitting. A date and time for repair was agreed over the phone with Glotech. William again attended at the agreed data aand time, and fitted the new parts. Fridge Freezer up and running again (and very very clean!) . We were very pleased with service provided by Glotech and especially by William. Highly recommended. 5 stars!!

Their engineer came and cancelled the job in Westminster because they couldn’t find a parking space. No advance warning from the company while they knew the postcode and should have advised accordingly. Avoid by all means.

Engineer previously came to fix my Neff oven & charged £272.79. Oven still not working properly. Rebooked for 2 weeks ago, booked a days holiday from work & received a phone call that day to say they had to cancel. Rebooked for last Friday and again they cancelled. Engineer visited today and said the additional cost will be £120.75. I rang the company then and asked why am I paying again when I have already paid and they told me it needed an additional part!!! Really, so when it was apparently fixed previously, it did not need a new part. Absolutely rip off. The final straw was when the engineer said he couldn't leave the property until I paid, so me, a female, alone with a strange man in my kitchen. I obviously had no choice but to pay again!

Booked for a washing machine engineer to visit 1 Dec which was cancelled on the day due to illness. Re-booked for 5 Dec, but cancelled AGAIN due to illness - this time Glotech didn't call til well into the morning to let me know. Call handler was pretty dismissive of the fact that I'd had to take TWO FULL DAYS off work for these bookings (they don't give a time for an engineer visit - just 8am-5pm), just saying they can't help sickness. I told her that once was understandable, but to happen twice, couldn't they get another engineer to cover? She just said they only had ONE engineer covering the whole of my area (Bristol - so hardly a tiny village in the middle of the countryside!!) - no apology/sympathy; a TOTAL waste of my 2 days. I'm self-employed, so two days not working is a big deal. Very poor service and would NOT recommend
