“Do not book with this company. They did the call out and sent an engineer out who claimed he fixed the issue which was a leak and within a day it reappeared. I called to have them come out again and they said they would need to order parts which took a few days. I was then told they had to cancel the appointment as they had ordered the wrong parts! I then had to wait for the parts to arrive again. Once they eventually did the couldn’t send an engineer out until four days later! I disputed this and asked if they could send out the first available engineer, to which they responded the parts are with a specific engineer who has the parts and would have to send them back to the warehouse for another engineer to receive them which would take more days! He visited today and couldn’t even affirm that he’d actually fixed the issue, within ten minutes of him departing the leak is happening again. Awful awful and appalling service.”

“I called in Glotech to undertake a repair to my dishwasher. A date was agreed for a Fitter to attend and view the work. During the visit a cost of repair was agreed and I paid in advance. I was later told the replacement component had arrived and we agreed the next visit. When the date arrived, I received a call to say the Fitter was sick so we agreed a new date. When that date arrived, I received a call to say the Fitter was sick. I had lost confidence in Glotech so I cancelled the order. I was told there would be a restocking charge of £187.63 for the replacement component. I disputed the figure and contacted my credit card company, explained the situation and said I hadn't been provided the service requested from Glotech. I was reimbursed but Glotech challenged this, claiming that their Ts&Cs contained this capability although I had not seen any Ts&Cs. Consequently Glotech was reimbursed the £187.63 on the 5th May. On the 2nd June I received a letter from Guildways, a debt recovery company acting on Glotech's instruction demanding I pay £217.63 as a debt to Glotech (Global Repairs Ltd). I explained the matter had been settled as my credit card company had repaid the contested £187.63 and debited my card. They wouldn't listen and continued to text and call me every day. The claim continued to increase as I made my argument. I was undergoing treatment for stage 4 cancer and had lost the will to protest so I paid the requested amount. Consequently I paid over £400 to Glotech for absolutely nothing. I later seen reviews of Glotech's performance on line which are damming, I wished I had seen them before I contacted Glotech. Please avoid Glotech as you are likely to regret it later”

“I requested an engineer to repair our AEG tumble dryer the this was subcontracted to willow and Stone who’s engineer came on the 19th of May and I paid both for the call out and the orders spares. Since then I have chased Willow and stone multiple times by phone and email with no response. Being down £157.95 (£82.95 call out and £75.00 for spares) we have written this off and ordered a new machine rather than through good money after bad. Beware !!!”

“Very disappointed. Booked a visit and received acknowledgment and confirmation of time and date of booking. Waited in but no one came. Rang office and told booking could not be traced. Wasted a day waiting with no refrigerator working so have to start again. Most frustrating!!”

“They came to repair a fridge-freezer.The engineer was great. They ordered a spare part which took 2 days to come and it still couldn't be repaired. I was assured that the part would be returned to where it was purchased and I'd get a full refund on the part in 5 working days. 7 working days later I had to call them to ask for the money on which they then changed their minds and told me, only partial refund would be given on a part that was returned. It makes no sense. They also said they'd help me find a replacement fridge-freezer. I had to call them to remind them that it was urgent i'd been without a fridge for over 1wk. It took them 5 days to call me back, then had the audacity to ask me if they should go ahead and find a replacement fridge-freezer and which type I wanted. Apart from the engineer, Glotech is a terrible company. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I bought a new one through AO. It was installed and working 3 days before Glotech decided called me back.”

“I paid £148 upfront for a call out. They came out to fix my dish washer, sent an engineer who hadn’t been trained sufficiently. He spent 10 minutes moved a pipe 180 degrees & said that would fix the problem. Surprise surprise the fault came up again. I had to pay another call out charge. A second engineer came out knew exactly what was wrong due to the error code. He gave us options. My issue is having to pay again for Glotechs incompetence. Not good customer service. I would never use this company again!!!!”

“Just the worst experience Paid for repair and the engineer was there 5 minutes! First load after came up with same error code. And they refused to refund the money as we didn’t want to use them again and waste another day at home waiting for an engineer . The man who did come said the pulled out the machine - checked the propeller and then changed it and then drained it before leaving. Took about 50mins to fix in all! Do not use this company”

“Terrible and appalling service Gave serial number model and problems along with pictures Engineer arrived and in 2 minutes told me what I already knew and information I had provided Charged £100 for 2 minutes and talk half a day off work for this”

“Untrained engineer I was very disappointed with the service. The engineer who attended was unable to carry out the repair on my freezer and simply told me it was beyond repair and that I needed to buy a new one. No proper repair was attempted, which left me questioning whether the appliance had been accurately assessed. I contacted the customer care team to find out why the repair had not been carried out. After persistent questioning, they eventually admitted that none of their engineers in my area are qualified to undertake this type of repair. This information should have been made clear from the outset, rather than sending an engineer who was unable to complete the work and then recommending that I replace the freezer. The whole experience was frustrating and a waste of titte. I expected the company to send a suitably qualified engineer or to be upfront if they were unable to provide the service. Based on my experience, / would not recommend this company.”

“Danny was really helpful looking at my washing machine in Ely. It turned out it was just a glitch but he was really helpful explaining why the error had happened and then tested the machine twice to make sure it was ok before he left.”

“Appalling service. Took the £110.00 call-out charge. Was at our home for 10 mins to be told the fridge could not be repaired and would write it on his report for someone to call us to order and install a new fridge. This was at 08.40. By 13.00 o call from the company so we rang and spoke with someone who said the person dealing with it was on the phone and would ring us back straight away. By 16.40 no call so we rang back and spoke to someone else who told us the person dealing with would ring us before 17.00. It is now 18.40 and no call. We are left without a working fridge in hot weather. Had we known this appalling service we would have gone elsewhere. This company should advertise themselves as a worthy company with fake good reviews.”
