Charged me for the first visit, despite of them knowing that they dont have engineer available for next 3 months to fix. Not an ethical and professional company. Should have informed me about this delay before the first visit itself. Stay away

Please avoid Glotech as the level of service they deliver as a company is beyond poor. We have booked a dishwasher repair with Glotech that was carried out at the end of August for which we paid 230 GBP. We were assured that the dishwasher will be in good working condition and Glotech provided a guarantee on a repair of 6 months. In October the dishwasher showed the same symptoms. We called Glotech who arranged a guarantee re vist, for which we waited 3 weeks. Upon return visit the engineer advised us that another 150 GBP repair was needed. We didn't agree as our confidence in the service was already low and it made no financial sense to repair the dishwasher. The cost of re visit was never agreed with Glotech, nor was I informed that a fee will be due if their engineer attended. Astonished we were to find out that Glotech issued an invoice for the visit although this was never agreed, nor were we informed. They simply invoiced us and threatened us with debt collectors. I want to warn all other customers. I have sent multiple emails and received no answer. When I called today I was informed that the management, nor anyone else is not available to speak with us to resolve it.

We contacted this company to come to our washer dryer. The dryer was not heating. After several days an engineer came. He was clearly stressed and had an inappropriate personal call all the time he was here, that was audible to the whole household. We were told that a new thermocouple was needed. This part was ordered, and we were then contacted 5 days later to say the part was ready. When the (different) engineer arrived, he clearly didn't know what he was doing. He was on the phone to someone else the whole time, presumably giving instructions. Eventually he informed us that the part ordered wasn't correct and that a new fan, was needed. He left, leaving the washing machine not sitting properly in the unit. The washer part of the washer dryer also now isn't working (it was before his visit), it stops intermittently and erratically with weird symbols on the display. The final straw was a call from the office the day later to say the fan would be £250! (Half the price of a new unit). Appalling service from a shambolic company employing people who don't know what they are doing. AVOID

Complete rip-off. Engineer took all of two minutes to say he couldn’t fix and wanted to get paid. What a con!

Booked a dishwasher repair over a week ago. Engineer didn't turn up and was told part would be sent back to the warehouse and appointment would be rebooked. 3 days later no booking so contacted to chase. Booked next available appointment. Call to say that the part hadn't turned up on the morning of the appointment and so had to cancel appointment. So errors by Glotech on 2 occasions leading to over a week in delay and dishwasher still not fixed. Asked to speak to manager, was told that the manager, Jude, was not willing to speak to me he was far too busy. I asked if he was too busy to speak to an unhappy customer and was told yes. Hardly great customer service. Let's hope they actually turn up on the 3rd attempt - seeing as I've paid for a call out and paid for the part in advance I have no choice but to wait.............

I have booked a repair of my dishwasher. After 7 visits over two months , and changing parts of the dishwasher that were not faulty , I was left with a dishwasher in worse condition than before booking the repair. I wouldn’t recommend using this company, as in my opinion the engineers are not competent enough to establish the fault and fix it.

Booked engineer to check wine cooler, engineer visited and charged £90. Said it needs compressor change, glotech called and said they cant fix it, no engineer available for next 3 months who can fill the gas. How is the charge of £90 at first instance is justified, if you already know that you got no engineer for next 3 months.

Starting from the day i search glotech on the internet called them first time callout good respond come check what wrong with my hub cooker order for the parts very thing was good and arrival time was brilliant, the only thing is the technician need to be very carefully upon fixing people appliances.

Waited in all morning for a confirmed repair, no one turned up. When I called glotech the guy seemed non-fussed as if the customer doesn't matter. Go elsewhere!

Terrible service. Engineer visited to fix a faulty dishwasher. Said it needed a new part. 2 weeks later is the earliest they are able to repair it. Complained that this isn’t good enough and they can refund me the cost of the part but won’t refund the £100 visit. Having to go elsewhere as I can’t wait that long. Terrible customer service with no alternative solution. I’d avoid and won’t be using them again

Knowledgable call handler. Fast, really fast, service, (next day). Technician was on time, super efficient, and was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend Glotech.

Glotech were brilliant in ever way, from the initial phone call to my fridge/freezer being fixed. The onsite technician was polite and knew his trade. The cost of the repair very reasonable and well worth the money. I would thoroughly recommend Glotech.

This company is a con. They take £100 call out charge but can't actually fix the problem. Then they give you a sophisticated quote about 5 times the price of the items so that you buy a new one. In the process they made £100 by doing absolutely nothing. Oh, then they will continue to email you in an attempt to extract more money out of you. I bet you these clowns so called engineers fixes hardly anything. I would love to see their success rates of repair per 1000 visits? Be aware never use this dodgy company.

Engineer unable to repair in day as part needed to be ordered. They re booked the apt but failed to take note of the need for 2 men- the part cost £34 and they then cancelled my repair on the day and couldn’t offer another appointment for 5 days. The part if I’d bought direct cost £11. I then had to fit it myself after they dropped the part off at my house- horrendous customer service and ridiculously expensive. Would never use again

Being a household of 4 (two of which who are feral 6.5 year olds who have no idea about what “clean” means) having your washing machine stop working is always an issue! I did the normal thing: searched on Google if I could do it, decided “nope” looked for a suitable company that could undertake the job and GloTech came up. Booking an engineer was very easy and out came George. Have to say, it is a real pleasure having someone come out, diagnose the issue, order the part and (a week later) fix the machine whilst being a thoroughly nice bloke. The result: It works…I don’t need to buy a new one and I didn’t need to pay the world to do so! Many thanks and appreciate the very fast turn round. Chris

Appalling service, do not use this company. We were initially given a quick appt date but time was between 0800-1700hrs, quick appt date was reason for selecting them. Waited all day no one turned up. Was informed the next day that engineer had been busy and that next available date was 7 days later. When Engineer did finally attend 7 days later my wife informed him of the fault conditions and his technical investigation was to place his hand on the top of the induction hob and state that should not be getting this hot and then ask my wife if we had the instruction book for the cooker with the circuit diagrams in. This was provided, he then rang a colleague and they determined that the repair would require replacement of parts to the sum of £1800. At no point did he actually open up the cooker or look at the induction hob control boards. I might as well have sent him a photo of our oven and told him it was getting hot for him to then tell me it would cost £1800 to repair. Had to pay the £118 call out charge. So i looked at the circuit diagrams and noted that there is an over heat sensor, i googled issues and found that if this triggers you should power of the cooker wait 5min and it should reset. Hey presto the induction hob works, however it appears a common cause for this triggering is the fan assembly for the oven is either clogged or broken. When i contacted Glotech about the poor performance and poor quality of skills they stated that as i had looked at the issue they could not be held liable for repairs (Switched off/on) and offered a £20 goodwill gesture. Stay away from this company as based on this i would not trust the safety of any repair they carried out.
