Hi booked Glo tech to repair a rangemaster induction hob. Engineer came out and was very nice he gave me a price for the part which was £590.92, which I later found online for £300 however the next day they ring and say the actual cost is more likely to be £2500. Very strange. Won't be using again obviously wish I'd never rang them in the first place. Definitely wouldn't use if you have a rangemaster.

Engineer didn't turn up, no call or message to explain. I had to phone glotech the next day to complain and they didn't know either. Pretty disgusted with glotech and their engineer. Have received no explanation/apology since. Will not be using glotech again.

Non attendance for date repair booked. Since phoned Glotech on three occasions and have not yet been given alternate date. Giving up and booking a different repairer

Our freezer was making an incredibly loud noise so we booked a Globtech Repair. Their upfront fee sounds great - no hidden costs, however, apparently they can decide that they don't want to repair your freezer and keep the money. The engineer came out and was fantastic - very friendly and told us that the repair would be no problem and that the part would not be expensive -but that the office would have to order it - so I paid the one-off labour / call-out fee, happy in the certainty that it would soon be fixed and I would only have to pay for parts. A day or so later I received some missed calls and a text message (which irritated me as we live in an area with very poor reception and I had specifically requested contact by email). The text informed me that they were "unable to continue the repair" with a technical reason given, which made no sense to me. I rang their office and the person on the phone also did not understand the reason why. He promised to find out why they were "unable to continue the repair" and ring me back - he never did. They also refused to give a refund. Now I do not even know whether to go with another company or not because I don't understand why they can't fix it!

Their sales team overpromises and engineers on the ground underdeliver in a rigid inflexible way. I paid £195 for an engineer to come and tell me that the cost of the simple repair is higher than buying a new appliance. He was also supposed to do another job, but was running out of time and refused to handle the matter with the sales team over the phone. I will not be dealing with this company again.

If I could select 0 stars I would Have just forked out £100 call out fee for our drinks fridge Engineer said if needs re-gassing Company have just called to say they have no one in our area to perform the repair and they don’t know when they will. We live in Maidenhead and this is a firm that advertise repairs in Maidenhead and Cookham… They now want to close the job Beyond disgusted AVOID AT ALL COSTS

One star as repair wasn’t completed. Overall poor customer service. No attempt or inclination to fix outside of ordering a replacement part, which wasn’t available. So money wasted as I still have to fix. Will never use again.

Very disappointed was told that better to buy a new tumble dryer with you than repair as would cost approx £200 to repair we subsequently found out machine still in warranty so the warranty company came and repaired saying the part only costs about £20 and the machine only 6 months old. we then got loads of calls from your sales team. would not use you again i'm afraid too quick to right the tumble dryer off and the call out fee was expensive considering the engineer was with me less than half an hour.

In May 2023, I had an engineer come to fix a dish washer at a children's nursery and he didn't have the part to fix it. He informed me he would order the part and return. I then sent several emails asking when I would see him again and received not response at all. In August, after yet another email, I finally received a call from someone. The person offered no apology, she indicated she doesn't know about the particular job as there are no notes and so it wasn't her fault, no apology, constantly interrupted me, seemed bored and annoyed that I would ask why it has taken so long and why I have been ignored. Just answering I don't know, with a I don't care tone in her voice, along with an element of sarcasm. What a terrible experience and waste of money and time.

You sent me confirmation that you would come the following day. You then phoned to tell me someone would come the same day, at 3. I arrived home from work, at 2.55. No one came. I sent you a message asking you to confirm someone would come on the day originally organized. You didn't contact me. I called you, and one of your staff told me someone had been to my house the previous day at 2.30, half an hour before the agreed time. No message. So, not great, no.

£100 to be told my washer dryer (6 years old) needs £400 of repairs. Engineer was talking in a technical language which was uncomprehensible. Rang for a written diagnostic report. Not available. Avoid this company at all costs. Will be seeking legal advice.

Told a repairer would come at 3pm, so got home for 3pm. Stayed in rest of afternoon. Nothing. Asked company to call me first thing. Nothing. Called them. Repairer had come at 2.30. Wrong time. No message.

The engineer came to repair the inlet drain on Thursday, 13th July, and 15 minutes after he left the problem still existed. I asked if he could come back and was told he had no hands-off phone - in this day and age!! I suggested he come on Saturday and they said they had few staff working then. It is now down for repair on Tuesday, the 25th, 5 days later. My days are extremely busy, caring for a disabled husband with dementia so I can't just drop everything to wait for an engineer to come without some sort of time given. Glotech were quick enough to take the £125.94 for botching up the job.

He was here for less than 10 mins, said it needed a part and charged me nearly £90. I then got a phone call to say the part was unavailable. So nearly £90 out of pocket and no freezer!

Engineer told me it would be cheaper to replace rather than fix my fridge. A phone call later that day from Glotech said they had the same fridge is stock. I arranged to have it fitted. Not only does it have one door and one inside shelf less than the old one but it is damaged. Email after email from me have been ignored. I feel extremely frustrated and do not know what to do next.
