Refusing to send out another engineer after appalling service and customer service. Wish we had never heard of this company.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. After having the original appointment (made online) changed 3 times alarm bells really should have started ringing about this company. The issue of the dishwasher not draining, once it has been through a cycle, therefore leaving clean water behind, started about a month ago. The technician that came out and literally took the plinth off and also looked under the sink and instantly assumed the 'problem' was to do with the plumbing (even though the company states he is not a plumber but an engineer). He did not actually examine the dishwasher or any valves. He then cable tied the waste pipe to another pipe so the water had to flow upwards! That night we put the dishwasher on and after approx 5 minutes it jammed again and did not even get to the draining stage leaving dirty water behind. This was after the technicians 'fix'. Customer service awful.

The engineer called me at 8.55AM saying he was ten minutes away – I advised I was just walking out the door to take my daughter to nursery and I was advised over the phone I would get 45 minutes notice. He was audibly annoyed by this and said it would not be possible for him to wait until I get back. I waited the ten minutes for him to arrive so I didn’t miss the appointment then had to leave him in my house while I took my daughter to nursery (which she was late for) When I arrived home around 20 minutes later he was standing in the kitchen and said he had already looked and the bearings were broken and so the only option would be to order a new machine as the repair would be more expensive than the repair. This visit cost £105. I followed this advice and ordered a new machine. He said in the meantime I can still use it as although it’s making a noise it “won’t take off” and would be fine. Fast forward to Sunday and I am doing some more washing when an error code for drainage comes up – I used a wet vac to clear the drain and out came a ripped up sock. From then onwards the machine was fixed, the noise went and it has been working perfectly. I am now cynical as to whether he even checked the machine but I wouldn’t know as I felt pressured into leaving him unattended in my home! I have contacted the Customer Service team who seem very unwilling to help or give me a refund!

£105 call-out, told them I’d need a new seal and door bolt was broken/threaded on the phone several days before the call-out was scheduled. Engineer arrives (on time and was polite) tells me that I’d need a new seal and bolt…yeah, I know. I would’ve thought since I’d given them this info and the washer/dryer SN that they would just bring this…anyway, wanted to charge me a further £267 for the seal and one self drive screw, apparently the £105 call-out includes the labour for the fix. Where are you buying a seal and a screw for £267?!?? £372 in total for a seal and a screw, do people fall for this? I also asked Emma for a link or info on where to leave feedback/review to which she’s ignored my email so I’ll just leave this here. Waste of £105, but lesson learnt. Bought a new washing machine for £370 🙂

The service from the engineer was useless. He phoned and asked to come on a different day as he was in the area but when he arrived, he took one look at the oven (a Neff), and told me that he could not do anything as there was no power coming to the oven. (i had told Glotech that was the problem ). I was told I would need an engineer to come out and put a plug on it then he could come back and take a look. He was with me less than 5 minutes and charged the £90 once he had got to the front door. I dont think he had any intention of repairing it. He arrived in a car - no van with a ruck sack - no tool box. Surely Glotech could ask the question before charging for a useless call out fee. VERY POOR SERVICE

We had a terrible experience with GloTech. We booked an engineer to repair our dishwasher, clearly specifying that it was a built-in appliance. Despite this, we were charged £120 for a visit, only for the engineer to turn up, look at the appliance, and then claim they couldn’t remove it—mainly because they had no idea where to start! No work was done, and to make matters worse, the company outright refused to refund the fee. It felt like we paid for absolutely nothing. Unprofessional, unhelpful, and a complete waste of money. Avoid at all costs!

Engineer comes out to assess my oven, takes one minute to diagnose and I get charged £105 for the call out. Second element to fail in 5 months. Not his fault but that is extortionate. Far too expensive. I’m getting a new oven.

Contacted yesterday 19/03/25 and received an email confirming appointment time for between 0800 and 1300 on 20/03/25. At just before Midday on the 20/03/25 received an email from their local agent stating no availability of technician until the 26th!! Needless to say now using a competitor!

Booked this company to check my washing machine, the guy came and did nothing. He just said the drum has seized buy a new a machine , then called a colleague to enquire for a new washing machine which was £350. I wasn’t impressed by that … The washing machine is now working.

I booked an engineer urgently to repair the fridge-freezer. I flew in from abroad on the appointed day, paying extra money for extra ticket, and waited at home all day like stupid. 30 mins before the end of the time slot, they called that the engineer would not come. It was a Thursday afternoon, they offered new app in Monday so left me for 4 days without a fridge! never again!

Terrible service. Engineer turns up to my house to fix my dishwasher. Decides he can’t fix my dishwasher because it’s too hard to remove from under our worktop even though it’s all loose. Then charges my wife £105 for it. Absolute crooks. Stay away.

This is not a local Tamworth family run company - it is a national company who just want your money. I thought the call-out charge was reasonable. Had a problem with an integrated dishwasher. The engineer was a lovely young man. Unfortunately he damaged the work surface which he admitted and had taken photos before and after and reported it to the office. When he left I discovered the fault was still there so booked another appointment and was told I needed two parts which I paid for. I was contacted to say the parts were in stock and booked to have them fitted. The day of the appointment the office rang to say the engineer would not be coming because if we wanted the job done we would have to get the appliance out ourselves and put it back as the engineer would not be able to do it because of the damage to the worktop. We were not prepared to do this so asked for a refund on the parts which they refused - they offered £26 as a good will payment for the damaged worktop. They then offered me half the call out charge back but nothing for the worktop. I excepted this because it covered the cost of the parts with about £10 on top. I now have a damaged worktop and a dishwasher that is still not working! Please be wary of this company.

We had booked an all-day call to repair our dishwasher for Monday 3 March. Waited in until 4 pm when we received a call that the engineer was unable to come. Rebooked for Wednesday 5th March. Engineer arrived within timeslot but said he was unable to repair it, (dishwasher just 3 years old). We still had to pay £97 for a visit lasting under 5 minutes. To add insult to injury, later that day we received an email stating "I hope your Bosch Dishwasher is back to its normal self and giving you a helping hand with your daily household chores!" The email also asked for feedback, so here it is!

They are not a repair company but an agency who sub contract the repairs. No one arrived for an afternoon booking called the next day and without an apology I was told to call the engineer direct I asked why as I am dealing with you. I was told I had to speak with the engineer so I called the given number which was a proper repair company who told me they did not deal with Fisher Paykel repairs and had immediately upon instruction replied telling Glotech this. Give this company I wide birth.

Diabolical. Engineer came, spent about 15 minutes in all here. Fitted a new hose, which I don’t think was needed. I was not happy with the work done and was told there would be another call out charge for a return visit. A new plumber has been today and all that was wrong was a loose valve.!! Appalling service.

Disingenuous website pricing for consumers (i.e. ex. VAT). Cancelled my second appointment on the day, with no reason. Original engineer failed to diagnose that my fridge was unrepairable and charged me for a second callout, which the company have thus far refused to refund. Customer service were rude and unhelpful when I followed up with them on the phone. Incredibly disappointing.

Never showed up for appointment. I called to see if they were running late to be told there was no engineers available, even though I’d had two confirmations for the appointment and no notice that they would not be attending.
