From the first phone call we expected great service. Instead they have taken my mother in laws money, not fixed or replaced her dishwasher and are now refusing to give her pension back to her. Stay away!

I had someone called out to look at my Dishwasher and Fridge- freezer, so disappointed and upset by the whole experience!! I paid £89 per appliance!! for one visit £180 in all, the man that arrived was officious and unhelpful He stated the fridge-freezer couldn’t be fixed because the model number was no longer visible He looked at the dishwasher and said he needed a part to repair it and I would be contacted to confirm Nobody contacted me, I called them to find out they couldn’t fix this either. I had to call again and ask for the diagnostic report to be sent over A complete waste of time, energy and a lot of money for 10 minutes for some bloke to tut, shake his head and leave!!!

I used Glotech for a repair to a dishwasher, they came out and said they’d done a temporary repair and it would need a part ordering in for permanent repair and they’d return but the engineer took the money there and then. Later I came to my senses and realised their game and cancelled this part. 18 months later and the “temporary repair “ is still working perfectly, with daily usage. Be warned, they are out to swindle you and are clearly dishonest. If I ever need a repair of an appliance I’ll use anyone but Glotech.

Do not, under any circumstances, contribute any funds to this cone company. I contacted Glotech seeking assistance in repairing my washer/dryer. During my initial call, I explained the machine's issue in detail, providing all necessary information and registration numbers. I requested the cost of the required part, to which the representative quoted around one hundred pounds. Satisfied with the seemingly reasonable estimate, I proceeded to book the repair. On the scheduled day, the technician, who was meant to arrive between 8 and 1 pm, called at 1:15 pm, announcing a delay of an additional 1 hour and 45 minutes. When questioned about the lack of earlier notification, he provided a random excuse and eventually arrived two hours later. Upon entering my flat, he inspected the machine cursorily, inserted his finger, and sat down on the floor with his tablet. He proceeded to list the following prices: £250 for a new drum, £81 for a new door seal, and £72 for another component whose name escapes me. Furthermore, he claimed I needed a new heating device, bringing the total cost to over £750. Astonished, I expressed my reservations, prompting him to suggest purchasing a new machine from Glotech at a supposedly discounted rate, with a £25 deduction from today's charge. Skeptical, I insisted on seeking a second opinion. His response was hostility, insisting on collecting payment before leaving. I informed him that this was not part of the agreed-upon deal and that I would need to contact the office. I conveyed to the office representative that I would not pay £99 for a service that made no attempt to fix my machine and was not booked as a quote for £99. It became evident that this company is engaging in a scam, dispatching technicians to pressure customers into purchasing new appliances.

Misdiagnosed issue by 1st engineer as confirmed by the 2nd engineer, have waited weeks for them to resolve the problem, they're now stating that I need to pay a second call out-charge? They promised a great deal but in reality were absolutely awful and a waste of my time. They also want to charge 50% mark-up on parts supply.

Totally unorganised appointment booking system. And not keeping to appointment schedule, truly pains customers like me.

Contacted Glotech re: repair to dishwasher. Was given engineer's visit on Thursday 9th Nov. Advised them of doctor's appointment at 11.30, so needed visit after 12.30. In surgery waiting room at 11.45 got call from engineer telling me he was on his way to my home. I live alone (disabled), so nobody there. Would not re-arrange, so visit cancelled. Next available Monday 13th. Very poor customer services, which need flexibility. Arrangement cancelled.

Glotech sent me a confirmation email and I paid someone to sit in my house and wait for them. Two hours later they cancelled. The person who I spoke to tried to deny they had sent me a confirmation email at all which added salt to the wound as I had the email in front of me. Will not be using them again. Poor service.

Horrendous service. Glotech advertise themselves for Lofra repairs so when our induction hob stopped working I called them. An engineer visited and basically did nothing, he checked power was still going to the oven, which I'd already told them as the oven is still working, and said he needs a part, timescale depending on stock or sourcing from factory. I then receive a call saying "we can't obtain this part so can't carry out the repair", so basically "goodbye". The repair for which I've already been charged the £120 labour fee. Daylight robbery.

Had a booking for a dishwasher repair. This was scheduled for between 08:00 and 17:00 today. Arrangements were made to be available at the property all day. At 10:30 I received a phone call to reveal that the Glotech engineer was unable to attend as arranged 2 weeks ago. Furthermore I was advised that Glotech were not able to undertake the repair at any time in the future. No further help was offered. MY WORST EXPRIENCE OF POOR CUSTOMER CARE IN MANY YEARS

Had an appointment on a Monday between 8am - 1pm, they cancelled on the day and did not show up (I worked from home to be there for them). They rescheduled for the next day between 12pm - 5pm , they cancelled again on the day and did not show up ( I worked from home again to be there for them, another day wasted). They rescheduled again for that Thursday between 8am - 5pm - a narrow 9 hour window to ensure we are ready for them! (Sarcasm) - My wife worked from home that day to be there for them. She was on a call when they showed up, guy left after 10 mins and was incredibly rude to me on the call because it's somehow our fault we weren't waiting by the door for them for 9 hours. Would not recommend, very unprofessional and very unreliable and very rude.

Booked glotech to repair two separate kitchen appliances. One was a washing machine and affected by a drain issue for which a separate plumber was called out. When booking I requested for the engineer to call me before hand so I can ensure the plumbing was checked. Instead the engineer visited and concluded nothing wrong with the machine and it is a drainage problem! £90+ of my money down the drain. Customer service kept referring to their notes and T&C's. They take money from landlords before hand and then don't really need to worry with money now in their bank account. Suggest you get a British Gas appliance cover and expect more value and a better service...

I booked a Glotech service visit to repair my faulty Miele washing machine. The price and visit schedule were confirmed by Glotech. On the agreed day after waiting 5 hours (their booking window) the engineer did not turn up. I received no text, email or phone call to explain why he hadn’t shown up. On calling Glotech they claimed the problem was with their contractor not Glotech. I explained that my order had been placed with Glotech and the order and booking confirmation had come from Glotech ( not their contractor) and therefore it was Glotech’s fault. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone looking for a service company for any of your appliances. Disgruntled, Stockport

Very poor service and unreliable company. First the website promise repair next day which I booked, then I received call that website has an error, booked an engineer to visit one week later, then took one more week for parts to arrive, weeks later on the day of replacing the part, an engineer went off sick, then another appointment has been given as they don't t have enough engineers to cover the area, waste of my time and my money as Globetech took the money two week in advance but cant refund or fix my appliance on time. 0 out of 10 for the service, do not believe their promises on their website promote.

Our Liebherr integrated freezer packed up. We arranged for a Glotech engineer to visit which he did on time. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty compressor and advised that as this was a special order, the company would be in touch with a quote. After a week or so, we received an email with a quote to repair the freezer for over £1,800. We emailed back saying that they must be having a laugh as this quote was more expensive than an identical new freezer. To top it all, we got in touch with Liebherr directly and a very helpful young lady outlined the steps needed to try to reset the freezer. We have followed the steps and to our delight the freezer started working again. One can only have contempt for companies like Glotech - contract with them at your peril.

It was just one big mess. They told me they had availability for a Friday then they cancelled and booked for a day when I wasn’t available. When I informed them I wasn’t available they outsourced the job but the date they offered wasn’t available available either. I was given wrong phone numbers and calls were either disconnected or weren’t put through. Head office said job was booked, outsourced company said it was not. Head office said they weren’t responsible and I had to chase the outsourced company. It was just chaos so I won’t be using Glotech agin. No thanks.
