I booked a Glotech service visit to repair my faulty Miele washing machine. The price and visit schedule were confirmed by Glotech. On the agreed day after waiting 5 hours (their booking window) the engineer did not turn up. I received no text, email or phone call to explain why he hadn’t shown up. On calling Glotech they claimed the problem was with their contractor not Glotech. I explained that my order had been placed with Glotech and the order and booking confirmation had come from Glotech ( not their contractor) and therefore it was Glotech’s fault. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone looking for a service company for any of your appliances. Disgruntled, Stockport

Very poor service and unreliable company. First the website promise repair next day which I booked, then I received call that website has an error, booked an engineer to visit one week later, then took one more week for parts to arrive, weeks later on the day of replacing the part, an engineer went off sick, then another appointment has been given as they don't t have enough engineers to cover the area, waste of my time and my money as Globetech took the money two week in advance but cant refund or fix my appliance on time. 0 out of 10 for the service, do not believe their promises on their website promote.

Our Liebherr integrated freezer packed up. We arranged for a Glotech engineer to visit which he did on time. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty compressor and advised that as this was a special order, the company would be in touch with a quote. After a week or so, we received an email with a quote to repair the freezer for over £1,800. We emailed back saying that they must be having a laugh as this quote was more expensive than an identical new freezer. To top it all, we got in touch with Liebherr directly and a very helpful young lady outlined the steps needed to try to reset the freezer. We have followed the steps and to our delight the freezer started working again. One can only have contempt for companies like Glotech - contract with them at your peril.

It was just one big mess. They told me they had availability for a Friday then they cancelled and booked for a day when I wasn’t available. When I informed them I wasn’t available they outsourced the job but the date they offered wasn’t available available either. I was given wrong phone numbers and calls were either disconnected or weren’t put through. Head office said job was booked, outsourced company said it was not. Head office said they weren’t responsible and I had to chase the outsourced company. It was just chaos so I won’t be using Glotech agin. No thanks.

Awful - £85 to be told the washing machine can't be fixed. I should give up my day job as the engineer was on site for less than 5 mins

Never deal with this people they are just a load of +++++. I would only give them 0.5 out of 5. Bad service all the time since the last 2 more weeks. The customers services are worse I have ever dealt with. Bad customer service often involves delayed or non-responsive interactions, leaving customers feeling ignored or undervalued. When customer concerns are not effectively addressed or resolved, it causes disloyalty(waiting for a Manager to contact last week regarding an appoitment which was cancelled with no reason given.

Beware the instant payment of labour charge with this Company made an appointment with them for a engineer to diagnose and hopefully repair our fridge freezer , He arrived opened the fridge and freezer doors pressed his finger against the back of the fridge told me the insulation was breaking down and the fridge was not repairable which took no more than a couple of minutes so no labour was actually involved for the extortionate amount of £99.54p surely this should have just been changed to a lesser call out charge ,Phoned the Company to express this but again as usual its all about taking and keeping the money very disappointing.

I booked a repair for AM. on the 30th August and this was confirmed by email. Later that day I received a call advising that the engineer could not attend in the morning but would arrive between 13.00-15.00hrs, which was not ideal but I agreed to this. The following day I called to ask when the engineer was likely to arrive and I was put on hold and then the call was cut off. I rang back another 2 times and exactly the same thing occurred. Eventually, I was told that the engineer would not able to attend today and that the earliest I could now have a call out would next Monday and I was then cut off again When I rang back for a fourth time I was told that your system automatically cuts calls off if they are on hold for a long time which is absolutely appalling that they treat customers in such a way. After such a terrible level of service that I had received I felt that I would not be able to trust Glotech and cancelled the call out. Overall this was a complete waste of my time and with this awful level of service, these people should be avoided.

Incompetent and Inexperienced on Modern Dishwashers (especially Miele). After reading several good reviews we thought Glotech repairs would be a good choice to look at an F25 fault on our Miele G7102 Dishwasher. It had given us excellent results on daily use over the last 30 months. We gave all the appropriate fault code make/model/serial number data to the call centre when making the booking, so we expected a good outcome from the visit. The Glotech technician attended on the day and at the time agreed, however he readily admitted that he had never seen a "Miele Dishwasher and really didn't have a clue". He plugged in a wall mains socket tester, that confirmed out kitchen ring main was in good condition / safe. He then laid the machine on the floor and removed the bottom panel. Unfortunately this put water into the circuit board area. Miele confirmed that NONE of their dishwashers should ever be laid horizontal for this very reason. Without doing a single electrical test he made a list of new parts that would be required and left. We then received an invoice for his "investigations" together with a long list of parts required. Luckily both my wife and I are electronics engineers and realised our mistake in asking Glotech Repairs to have a look. We then contacted Miele who quickly rectified the problem, after drying the PCB's. The machine has worked faultlessly since. We refused to pay for the Glotech technician, as he didn't know what he was doing, potentially damaged our machines delicate electronics and basically listed every moving part in his "diagnosis". We have explained our reasons for not paying in three phone calls and eight emails. Today we have received threatening letter, with an inflated £25 charge for debt collecting and more charges to follow. To avoid the incompetence of this technician, wasted time, delayed repair and potentially expensive litigation We suggest that you go elsewhere for your repair. Date of experience: 27 July 2023

Fourth call out for repairs to a dishwasher that they have never successfully repaired. Three times an engineer has failed to turn up on the day, each time costing me an expensive day's holiday. No record of any job booked in today despite two separate Glotech agents telling me my appointment was today, one as recently as Tuesday. When I ask to speak to a manager, I'm told that there isn't one available until Monday. Between loss of earnings and the cost of the plan I could have bought two new dishwashers instead. Can someone please make this right for me

I feel a bit bad writing this as a one-star review and '0 - would definitely not recommend' but I feel the callout charge is prohibitively high when no repair can be implemented. To have to pay almost £100 for a five-minute, superficial inspection just to declare a machine broken beyond repair is just not acceptable. If there was a lower-tier rate for assessment, allowing you to make an informed decision on whether to ask them to carry out the repair or not I would be able to recommend them as the process and engineer were very efficient. Really disappointed as I hate the disposable culture we seemingly have to live with due to the lack of affordable alternatives.

After 4 visits from 2 engineers assured my washing machine was working each time… first time it managed 2 washes before the same issue, second time 4 washes before same issue and this last time it did not even work at all. Wasted 4 weeks and my money!

Dreadful service. Waited three weeks for an appointment and took a day’s annual leave to be in when the engineer called. Was notified on the morning he was due to arrive that he was not coming. They did not offer an alternative or apologise.DON’T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY!

Your engineer did his best to resolve our washing machine issue but was not given enough time to resolve the issue as could only run a short non washing programme the error message only occurred when running a washing cycle programme. All engineer advice was followed with a plumber called to check sink u bend and drains. Despite following the advice the error message still occurred and when I rang the next morning for a follow up engineer visit I was given an appointment in 4 days time I am assuming that this is because I had already paid a call out charge so was no longer a priority. Have now given up and brought a new machine as could not wait for another call that would not for certain fix the issue.

1. Having first booked the repair, I was then badgered (phoned very often (6 times)) in order to take the payment for the repair, even though I was going to pay the engineer once the repairs had been completed. 2. The technician arrived on the day of the repair and was in a desperate rush to leave. He promptly diagnosed the problem and informed me what the solution was. 3. We then (together) moved various bits to reconfigure the AEG hob. 4. The right thing to do once repaired would have been to stay and make sure the whole system was working and the fault didn’t reoccur. 5. This didn’t happen. The technician (who was actually a really nice guy), promptly made me pay and then left. 6. NEEDLESS TO SAY THE PROBLEM HASN’T BEEN FIXED 7. I’ve called Glotech and they’re going to send another technician - but that technician isn’t coming for another 8days. That means we’re without a working job for another 8days!
