Truly horrible Cookies policy; you simply cannot opt out of them inflicting cookies on your computer. Unless they get some push-back they will continue with this unwelcome enforced invasion of privacy.

Item arrived in damaged presentation box , was promised replacement presentation next day which never arrived . This was a gift for my father which was completely ruined by the lack of attention by Farr at & tanner and their trusted courier . Was given a 50% discount which to be honest did little to improve the whole experience . Promise the world but do not deliver - literally.0

Hi Jason, i know we were unable to get a replacement box out to you in time for the one that was damaged in transit but as the glass had remained intact the partial refund was to accommodate the damage to the presentation box. We generally do have very good feedback on our next day service, unfortunately every once in a while there may be a problem, which we do our best to resolve. i hope the gift was enjoyed despite the crumpled edge to the box. Ordered a personalized gift for a 40th birthday present on express delivery. Not only did it not arrive on time, it did not arrive at all. On multiple attempts at contacting the company I finally got a response to say they did not know where the gift was and they couldn't replace it as it was no longer in stock. Extremely poor all round.

Ordered a Acaia wood magnetic knife block. The order arrived on time but was completely useless. It wouldn't even hold a small kitchen knife in place securely, larger ones fell straight off. Not o lying impracticable but dangerous.

Products did not come in good condition. I contacted the company and received a response but no action was taken off the back of it. Unable to gift due to poor condition.

Hello Disappointingly I have discovered that the Christmas gift I ordered from your selves was opened on Christmas day by my mother and it has arrived in the wrong style and wrong size... I have attached images below for your reference.... It is particularly disappointing when I paid extra for gift wrapping as well.

I am sorry to say we are not happy with the packaging at all.It was an anniversary gift to a couple on their special day and the paper and cotton which was wrapped on the champagne flutes is of very low quality and is torn . The champagne flutes were full of finger prints and this was not expected at all from a brand like yours.We had to wrap them in new covers and clean the flutes before gift wrapping.Overall very poor service for the amount we paid for as my next day delivery(which was reversed to my account) was also cancelled and the parcel arrived right on the day of party.I’m attaching the pics for reference.Wouldn’t recommend this as the service is not worth the amount we pay for

I will no do business with companies that exclude customers from personalising the sites cookies . It’s unethically and shows just how corrupt the company is .

You can buy the same chinese cheep quality watch from amazon for £30-40. The front "glass" is plastic, the engraving is more like a sticker. The metal enclosure is a fingerprint magnet.

Dear Gabor, this is one of our best sellers and is usually very well received. The covers for the skeleton mechanism are Acrylic Crystal, which is made from clear synthetic plastics like Hesalite - these are shatterproof and have less glare than glass. The engraving is actually protected by a removeable sticker, with the laser engraving underneath and the opening and closing of the watch is by depression of the winder to release each protective case, rather than magnetic. I hope the wine is better than the presentation box. Very poor cheap box badly painted with a lid that wouldn't close. Will not buy again.

Hi Joan, We have a few wine box choices, I see you've chosen the black wood gift box, which is a painted wood. The lid should close easily so this does not sound right. I'd be happy to replace the box for you - please let me know if there's time for us to do that before you are gifting the Sancerre and I'll suggest some alternatives. Purchased the il Baco da Seta Premium Prosecco in Personalised Wood Gift Box for my nephew's engagement.I was initially very pleased with the speed of delivery after purchase, but this soon changed to disappointment when I saw the condition of both the packaging and the gift box. The gift box was badly bashed at one end and a crack had formed along the bottom. To make matters worse the cardboard box that it was shipped in was both unsealed and open. The fact that the the gift box itself wasn't wrapped in bubble wrap or a more eco friendly alternative to protect it from damage was simply astonishing. Furthermore there are no FRAGILE warnings on the box itself which seems to me a no brainer. I have emailed the sales department, with photographic evidence but I have yet to receive a reply. Really poor all round. Avoid at all costs!!!

Hi, I'm so sorry to read that the gift has arrived in such a damaged state. We have had these boxes purpose made to avoid damage as much as possible and send out lots of these on a daily basis. We also committed to not use single use plastic in our company and as such we use shred and the box that we have made for us. We don't receive many comments of damaged delivery based on the amount we send so I do believe that perhaps as it was opened it maybe has been dropped? either way, we do not want to to arrive in this way and I'm sorry you have not received any reply - could you check your spam folder as sometimes our replies do end up here. Received a chess set and the pieces were significantly tarnished. I sent and email and did not receive a response. I called and was offered a full refund with no apology or offer of an alternate set as this was the only one of its type in stock. This was a gift for my 13 year old son and the joy has been stripped away from this. Shockingly bad customer service... thanks Jamie!

Very unhappy. I bought a bottle opener, for my father’s birthday. I had ordered it nearly two weeks in advance, and was assured it would reach me in time. I also ordered a pair of scissors. The payment went through, and then a week later I received an email telling me only then that the scissors were out of stock. I asked for a refund. The part that annoyed me was when that same email asked for my ID for the bottle opener, indicating that they hadn’t even begun the postage process. This turned out to be the case, and when I asked if it would arrive in time still I was again, assured it would. It was no surprise when it didn’t arrive on time, and I was told beforehand that if it didn’t come then I’d receive some kind of compensation. Following the late delivery, I reached out twice asking for this compensation, and have received no response. I’m very annoyed at how blatantly I was ignored after the delivery, and at how an expensive product would be accompanied by such rubbish customer service. The product itself was nice, if a little big, but I will not be buying from here again.

Bitterly disappointed. Chose (and engraved) one of the backgammon boards as a Christmas present for my father and then was too embarrassed to give it to him. Product was cheaply made and very poor quality. Will not be spending money here again.

Ordered a birthday gift and was promised same day delivery. This admittedly was ordered on 24th for bday on 27th but delivery only took place on 29th. I paid for express and this is what you get. Very disappointing

Hi, the date your order is due to arrive is shown in the basket before you complete your order based on the postage method selected. We do offer a next day delivery service with DPD or an Express Royal Mail service which takes between 1 and 3 working days. We did not have any postal collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Sunday or Monday 28th as it was Bank Holiday Monday and we were closed for Christmas. Really terribly unhappy with our experience! Ordered engraved whisky glasses as a gift. Arrived on time but with wrong initials!! Engraving very rough and superficial cut to finger from it! Customer service initially insistent that no refund only a credit voucher!!! Had to preserve and was pretty upset by end of phonecall with frustration but eventually got refund. Would NEVER recommend after this experience which is a real shame as all business struggling in current climate but it’s been an unhappy service from delivery of what should have been a special gift.

Dear William, This is most disappointing. I'm sorry obtaining a refund was frustrating, I can only assume that this was down to a misunderstanding on the phone as although we do offer store credit on engraved items that are not wanted, we most certainly would refund in any situation where an error has been made or there's a particular issue. I am pleased you now have a full refund and one again offer my apologies for the error in a most busy and difficult trading time. I ordered a block of knives 27th November and still not arrived, despite the order being dispatched on the 28th November. I’ve tried calling several times to no available, I’ve also emailed with no response. I’ve received an email asking me to review an order I’ve not received. I would appreciate if somebody could contact me to advise the whereabouts of my parcel as it’s a Christmas gift and I’m conscious I may now not receive it in time, so I’d like to order from elsewhere, with a refund.

Ordered engraved glasses as a gift. Sent glasses with wrong engraved initials and also shard of glass shavings cut finger! Very tricky to get refund needed to be persistent! What good are wrongly engraved glasses?? Packing slip showed correct information. Found customer service gentleman very unhelpful and did not listen to complaint properly. What a shame as took our business elsewhere and sadly would not use this company’s again or recommend.

Our customers are important to us and we do appreciate the time you've taken to highlight your experience. We were very shocked to find that you had cut your finger and the customer service gentleman wanted to put you on hold to see if there was anything else we could do to help you. He had misunderstood what you'd explained to him and wanted to correct it. As requested we did refund in full instead.
