Very pleased with quality of belt, though disappointed despite enquiry before purchase it was too small. Also disappointed it’s going to take approx 4 weeks to process change despite high level of returns

Quick delivery but very poor quality item (chess timer) more than double the price elsewhere (£75 v's £35 on other sites). Only ordered due to delivery promise as was for a Xmas present. Will be returning the item as one of the clocks does not work, but probably would haveanyway due to poor quality of item. Clearly a company that offers things massively overpriced Very disappointed

I was originally delighted that my parcel arrived quickly, but then found out the wrong product had been sent. I did get a swift response to my email and submitted photos of the wrong product as requested. Now I am waiting for the issue to be resolved and waiting for the correct product to be sent to me. Sadly, I have missed the chance to give it to my son as the Christmas present he wanted to take with him on his New Year skiing holiday. I gave 2 stars only for the quick delivery and quick response and will be happy to upgrade this review if I get the correct product quickly and without further stress.

What a rude company, they have the cheek to say on their pre call information that they expect to be treated with respect and don’t tolerate any rudeness etc and yet the agent I spoke to thought it was ok to be rude to me and then hang up when I pointed out the engraving charges could’ve highlighted better

Hi Mark, Your call was terminated as you were being very rude to the agent who was trying to assist. We do not tolerate any disrespect or rudeness, and our staff are allowed to end calls if they feel uncomfortable with the way they are being spoken to. The engraving charges are advertised on the website clearly, and we have not had any complaints regarding this before. Best wishes, Stacey

Very disappointed with the quality of the chess set, bought for my daughter’s birthday. She got 2 splinters from the horse. It was rough and not fit for purpose. Returned for a refund. Not the high quality that I was expecting.

Very disappointed with my first and last purchase from Farrar & Tanner. Ordered a Christmas gift with an engraved message but it arrived minus the engraving despite paying extra for the service. Not enough time to rectify before Christmas so very disappointing.
