“The website and ordering process was good. The products arrived promptly and in good condition. The installation instructions could be clearer. I have 75mm square down-pipes and the instructions only say the downpipe connector will fit a 75mm square pipe. They should say if you have a 75mm square pipe you need to cut out along the marks in the connector lid with a hacksaw.”

“Everything was good except that we were only given a couple of hours notice of delivery. Our plans had to be changed at the last minute. A day's notice makes more sense.”

“Very good, already full of water! Just one problem, The fitting holes had not been sanded in preparation for the pipes to be fitted. So pieces of plastic had to be removed. A small concern.”

“Very happy with water butt. It is just what I wanted. I had pre ordered it.The only issue I had was that there was no warning about delivery as the website said you were waiting for stock so delivery took me by surprise. Apart from that I am happy with service.”

“Love the water butt and fits in well ti the space. However the integral flower pot in the top isn’t well designed. When the water butt is full, the soil in the top becomes saturated and the plant roots/bulbs that I had put in all rotted. It seems like a good idea but in practice not so much. I’ve replaced it with a flat top , to water can be saved right to the top.”

“Delivery of the replacement water butt has been very prompt. The identical previous one was twelve years old and had served us well, but it had become detached from the wall due to one of the three fixings at the top not having been firmly made, and torn off by its own weight. as a result. I shall ensure all three fixings are firmly made when the new one is fixed and I will hope it lasts longer than the first one.”

“Excellent product made from recycled materials, but I was not expecting to have to drill out the inlet hole. Fortunately, I had my drill handy with the correct size bit. Took less than 5 minutes. I had the butt connected in no time.”

“Perhaps my fault but I did not realise that the Basic butt I ordered came with a diverter, so I ordered your recommended diverter. Result: two deliveries and some unwanted plastic. The Basic tall butt has a plastic tap which looks rather flimsy and has no plinth, so quite a bit of the water volume will remain when its level falls below that of the tap! Finally, I found the rather expensive Gutter Mate diverter rather fiddly to fix, and the instructions none too helpful. I suspect I shall have to re-drill the wall to ensure all water is collected.”

“Very good and prompt service. The only reason for losing a star is the frustration that if you don't want the package they offer, it costs significantly more. I wanted a grey butt and stand, if I'd accepted the same butt in green with a stand, it would have been 35% less expensive.”

“I've ordered this butt before, but the green one, that one is fine too, been in operation for a few years. Due to the footprint of the green one, I decided to order another for a snug spot. The green one was out of stock so I ordered the sandy-beige one. Pro - comes with a good fitting fast flow tap (attached inside the butt for transit) Con - as there is a sump you cannot get 300 litres out of the tap Pro - sturdy and tough, a good plastic and a good lid, easy to on/off (should you need to). There is a removable internal collar which the lid snaps into. Con - they don't inform you about delivery and they use a different name to their transport company (who did ring the previous day but I thought the delivery was another order that I knew was on route) Pro - a fast delivery, at checkout it said 28 days but I received in less than a week Con - probably doesn't need wrapping in all the black plastic and clingwrap - perhaps you could ask at checkout if the customer wants all the plastic or wouldn't mind a few scuffs Pro - comes on a cute little pallet. I've left mine in the front garden in the hope someone steals it.”
