“We bought a water butt for our elderly mother so she could water her plants more easily. It arrived quickly, and was easy to put together but the lid is very stiff, so she has to leave it ajar! Generally very pleased.”

“Unfortunately the butt I ordered (Harcostar 114ltr) was out of stock at time of ordering (I wasn't aware), and had to wait approx 5 weeks for delivery. Item arrived with slight dent in the base, hopefully will not affect use. Worse still though, I was not pre-advised when item was despatched, only received one hours' notice (by DPD) of imminent delivery, had to quickly re-arrange our plans for the day.”

“Ordered way back in March . I have just received my order, not Water Butts Direct fault for the delay, a manufactoring hold up. Just as well we've had no rain!. I'm very pleased with the size, fits perfectly under the window sill so I don't see it. Would buy again. Good comunication too, kept me informed.”

“Good range of products and speedy response to any queries. Delivery was quick. Only criticism is that there is no advance notice of deliveries, just a text or call on the day. We happened to be free for both but it could have been a problem.”

“Delivered promptly and looks good. Snag initially, as the box seemed to contain just the butt itself. The instructions and accessories, it turned out, were inside - invisible and inaccessible because the 'childproof' lid deteated adult arthritic hands. In the end, I got a neighbour's child to open it! It might be sensible perhaps to put some abbreviated form of the instructions, or at least a list of contents, on the outside of the drum. That said, it seems a very robust and well designed piece of equipment, with sufficient options to cover most local circumstances..”

“Very quick and prompt delivery. The butt itself didn’t come with instructions as it should have, but customer service replies were very fast and the website had useful videos and documents to help guide installation. The butt itself was fairly easy to install, though additional tools were required for creating the hole in the butt and attach/screw in the diverter. Overall very pleased with it, and looking forward to collecting rainwater soon!”

“Very happy with the oak lookalike water butt. The quality is excellent & delivery was very speedy. However I have 2 very small criticisms. One, I would've preferred to have had the option to choose the type of tap supplied as I had to order an additional tap which could be connected to a hose. The only other query I have is whether the lid is going to collect a couple of inches of water on top of it: of course it's not rained since we installed it!”
