“Good strong water butt including stand and downpipe connector Could save on the cardboard box by cable tie the lid on as all accessories are inside , And address label on lid.”

“Promptly delivered, easily installed. Neat and tidy. One lid location tab snapped off when trying to get the lid off! Doesn't seem to matter. But you do need a tool of some sort to press the yellow clip in to get the lid off. Can't comment further as only time will tell if they are robust.”

“Product seems good and well-made, and was good value for money. The only reason for a less than perfect score is that the item arrived without any warning whatsoever and it was pure luck that I happened to be in when it did. Logistics seem to be provided by something called GM8. I received an email telling me that my item has been dispatched three days after it arrived. The driver said it happens all the time. Just sayin'!”

“A good quality item but didn't come with any fitting instructions and had no tap to fit into the unit. Has three 3/4 brass insert connections either side (so not as actual photo on web site)which need drilling out for the fitting of any rainsavers and one connection on the front for a tap. Came with 2 blanks when would be better with a further four to screw into the side connections. Did report the lack of instructions and no tap via a phone conversation but never received any comeback.”

“I now have three water butts. In general happy. Lugs to join 3 parts of stand could be longer, they come apart easily when adjusted. The tap supplied is small bore so filling a standard watering can is very slow, would be great to fill quickly.”

“Your big problem is using DPD for delivering. I received two text messages and two emails giving a time slot for delivery. As I had been notified I stayed at home for the time slot. But nothing turned up. No notification of any change. When I checked the DPD website the next day. It was reported that there was nobody in. The water butts did arrive the next day but at different times, as there was nobody in they were just left in the garden..packaging box damaged but waterbutt okay..”

“The pair of butts arived promptly but were left in the rain as I didn't see the email in time and had little warning. The delivery person could easiyl have pressed my bell. When I opened the boxes there was some water in the bottom which I think was there before as the boxes were well sealed. I left the boxes open for several days to dry. The pair of 168 litre butts look good, but we couldn't find any instructions how to use the downpie rain diverter.”

“Solid looking water butt. Very prompt delivery. Thank you. Bought a smaller one of same make a year or so ago & pleased with that. This new one looked big when I unpacked it but it's fine & will be a good replacement for the old 20+ year one that was leaking. The stand was slightly broken where the stand pieces clip together. The broken off bit was in the packaging. It won't affect its strength & I've 'Araldited' the bits together - so it's fine. I'd buy from Water Butts Direct again.”
