We are pleased with the water butt, which is strong, well made and was easy to install, however we have replaced the tap on the front with a more aesthetically pleasing black one. We also concur with another review of the product that suggests its design would be further enhanced if the stone pattern design was extended over the two sides of the butt. However, we were very disappointed with the service we received regarding the delivery. We would have made every effort to be in to receive the item or would have given the company instructions as to where to leave it if we had known we were going to be out. Indeed, this is usually a standard question when ordering an item to be delivered. Unfortunately it was delivered ahead of schedule and on a day that we were out. We were not informed of its impending arrival. There was no telephone call or text from the delivery company. According to our neighbour, it was left on a pallet in the middle of our drive. Thankfully, he very helpfully moved it to a secure location. We were not even informed afterwards that the delivery had taken place. We spent a lot of money on this item and would have expected a higher standard of customer service from the company to whom you entrust your deliveries.
