“We ordered the 275L Noblesse Decorative Water Butt. It wasn't made clear on the website that this comes with a large wooden pallet. We asked the delivery driver to take the pallet away and he refused. We asked Water Butts Direct to collect it and they refused, telling us that we should leave it outside our front gate and a passerby will surely pick it up by the next day. It's been there for 4 days now and no one has picked it up. We live in SE London and don't have a car so disposing of it is a real pain. If we had known about the pallet before we wouldn't have made the order. We're disappointed that Water Butts Direct hasn't taken ownership of this issue- the pallet is theirs and not ours.”

“Excellent item, had minor issue with delivery being a day later than planned but issue was resolved really quickly. Great to ring and be able to speak to someone straight away and discuss the order.”

“We placed an order (2000030520) on the 16th August. We have chased twice and the courier was blamed for the failure to deliver. The webpage says 10 days, the staff say 14 days for delivery and a month later we still don’t have our water butt. Use someone else.”

“The three water butts I ordered arrived very quickly. I was very pleased with two out of three, the slimline polybutts, which are well made and solid. However, the one disappointing thing was the base of the Strata Slimline which was in four parts and had to be taped together. The Strata itself was a good size and well made. I still think the service and quality is worth 5 stars and recommend the company.”

“Excellent British made butt - even had markings on lid for drainpipe "insertion". Very reasonable price AND arrived pronto. Very happy -as will the plants/lawn be uponst usage of the "saved" water.”

“Came when it said it would. It would have been very helpful if the top hole for the downspout attachment had been predrilled and plugged. Needed special tool to drill hole which I didn't have. Looks good now in place.”

“Delivery was within the stated time. It is good that you get not only the water butt but also a stand and rainwater harvesting kit that others supply as extras. Not five stars as there was a lot of "flashing" around the water entry and tap holes that had to be removed to ensure a good seal.”

“Diverter missing from the pack, box had been open and re sealed, touch annoying as had to go out and get one, they did offer to send another out or refund the missing item, I accepted the refund”

“The water butt itself is okay but the tap drips, not where it screws into the barrow, which I had to screw in very tightly ( I didn't have another rubber washer to use) but at the valve; it's not a significant problem though.”
