“The water butt and fittings arrived very quickly - at least 3 days earlier than promised. Safely packaged and friendly courier. Easy to assemble and looks good. It feels substantial, as if it will last for some time. Only negative is it is supplied with blank fittings to lnk to drain pipe. We wanted white which we ordered, as we could not find a way to swap the white for the black.”

“the water butt came in a large cardboard box so it was protected in transit, I had previously had a couple from other companies that were loose packed and the taps broken beyond repair and a pain to return and get refund. So very pleased this was in good condition on delivery.”

“The product was fine, and a very prompt dispatch over the Christmas period. However you’d do yourself more credit if you didn’t use Evri for your deliveries. There was less than 15 mins. notice of the delivery slot, and they threw the package over my side fence. I’d rather pay for delivery with options to pick up at a local collection point than suffer their service - it’s doing your quality business no credit”

“I bought 2 water butts (sold as a pair). They are fine . They came with 2 diverter kits and stands which I didn't need. It would have been useful if they had had a connector kit (which I had to buy separately). Now they are both connected to my existing water butt and are full of water following the recent downpours.”

“We bought the Metropolitan with planter 255l. It does exactly what it should do. We're really pleased with it. All the accessories were delivered. Nothing missing. The only tiny problem was that the installation instructions are a bit vague in relation to where to cut your drainpipe. Otherwise a great buy.”

“I bought the water diverter product. It is very well designed. So much better than the one I have used for the last 20 years. My water butts are all linked and filling up much more quickly. It is an expensive product. Only supplying half a meter of hose is inadequate for the price point you have chosen. No instructions included. Had to watch the video on YouTube several times to ensure I installed it correctly.”

“Service was fine. The product did the job but the 20mm(id/25od) flexible hose is very difficult to fix onto the water butt inlet - at least trying to get as far up the inlet as possible. Used to be able to buy a flexible translucent hose which was easier to push on but doesn't seem to be available any more.”

“Good quality pipe thicker stronger and cheaper than others I looked at, great value, cut into meters. I went for free delivery which took 4 out of the 3- 5 working days. I wanted the pipe sooner so I will go for paid delivery next time I order. Looking at the wormeries and composters. PS Tumbling composters aren't on the same page as the other composters”

“I bought this to replace the smaller version of the same water butt which I bought several years ago - I definitely needed a larger one. As I have installed one before, it was easy for me to fit it. However, there was one problem; there was a leak from the seal on the tap. It seems to me that the O-ring is too soft, and as you tighten the tap into the hole, the O-ring is squeezed out. I fiddled with it a bit but it still leaked. I found a solution. Unscrew the tap and smear the thread with plenty of "Plumber's Mait" before screwing it back. That seems to have done the job. (Bit of a nuisance emptying and them re-filling the butt to do that). I think the instructions should advise the user to stand the butt on a paving slab (600mm square is ideal), if it is to go somewhere that is not already paved or concrete. I realized that with my first one.”

“We are pleased with the water butt, which is strong, well made and was easy to install, however we have replaced the tap on the front with a more aesthetically pleasing black one. We also concur with another review of the product that suggests its design would be further enhanced if the stone pattern design was extended over the two sides of the butt. However, we were very disappointed with the service we received regarding the delivery. We would have made every effort to be in to receive the item or would have given the company instructions as to where to leave it if we had known we were going to be out. Indeed, this is usually a standard question when ordering an item to be delivered. Unfortunately it was delivered ahead of schedule and on a day that we were out. We were not informed of its impending arrival. There was no telephone call or text from the delivery company. According to our neighbour, it was left on a pallet in the middle of our drive. Thankfully, he very helpfully moved it to a secure location. We were not even informed afterwards that the delivery had taken place. We spent a lot of money on this item and would have expected a higher standard of customer service from the company to whom you entrust your deliveries.”
