“I ordered 2 water butts which arrived as planned and in good condition. The only fault was that the btwo plumbing packages in one of the packages were missing. I am sure that the company will sort this out. I am pleased to use this company”

“Quick delivery... of the wrong item. Created a real hassle now - not being able to complete the guttering installation booked, need to go through all the bother of returning the item and sourcing the correct one... One would expect to get what one needs, especially for the price higher than from other suppliers for the same product.. Still have not had a reply from CS, but it is bank holiday weekend so will see what happens... Dont know how can you get 'BLACK rainwater diverter with green pipe' wrong..?”

“The quality of the butts is excellent the delivery schedule was shocking by dpd who completely let down this element of the delviery. Of the 6 water butts I ordered, 1 arrived Saturday morning, 4 arrived late Saturday evening when the same driver argued the order was complete ! If you order 6 you expect 6 not 5. The final butt arrived on Sunday thrown over our 2.4 metre high gate, no use of the intercom and recorded on our CCTV - not good at all especially as this driver was a different driver and had no idea what was in the box marked handle with care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No kits included to link the 2 butts as pairs and no reply from Water Butts direct customer relations. A sad let down of an otherwise good quality product.”

“I have previoulsy used Water Butts Direct with great service. Howver this particular order was a bit more tortuous in that the order was placed some months ago and then no updates either from the actual supplier or Water Butts Direct as to delivery and this despite calling on a few occasions. randomly I then receive an email to say the delivery is scheduled but no date when or tracking information or opportunity to reschedule. the items arrived the next day and as i was at work left at my gate.”

“Customer service is poor. The telephone greeting is bad...if the call is not answered by an Agent, the only option is to call back or send email. Completely unhelpful. When you finally get through to an Agent, what they tell you about order status is unreliable.”

“I ordered a water butt in April 26, and 3 delivery dates were missed, which i understand, but what i found disappointing was the lack of comms from the company. It was only when i rang them each time, that i found out what was happening, and when the new delivery date would be. A bit more proactive with paying customers i would suggest. John”

“Ordered Harcostar 227ltr water butt kit in grey, 48 hours later delivered safely in sturdy box - outstanding service! Bought new downpipes etc and assembled it yesterday, looks great. Well made, fair price and very sturdy. Still having problems understanding how you take the lid on and off, any help would be appreciated.”

“Promptly delivered, easily installed. Neat and tidy. One lid location tab snapped off when trying to get the lid off! Doesn't seem to matter. But you do need a tool of some sort to press the yellow clip in to get the lid off. Can't comment further as only time will tell if they are robust.”

“I feel incredibly disappointed with the service I received. I spent a lot of money ordering multiple items from this company to then be ignored when an issue arose. One of the items was a Harcostar 227L Water Butt, Stand and Diverter Kit, it was delivered with a large hole near the bottom which clearly hadn't been checked before sending the item out for delivery. It's a faulty product. Initially, there was prompt email communication but I have not heard anything for over two weeks and my emails in this time have been ignored and not responded to. It's a real shame as I thought this would be a reliable company. Unless I hear anything soon, I shall not be ordering from them again and certainly wouldn't recommend them. I feel very let down”

“Ordering straight forward. Delivered by DPD, unfortunately I wasn’t going to be in however DPD offered me the opportunity to select a safe place. On delivery the driver took a photo of my parcel in the safe place. Excellent service.”
