“I always bought our heat logs from this company but cancelled the last order because they could not deliver on the date I wanted. The courier they use will only deliver to roadside so, because our drive is on a slope and we are elderly, we have to arrange for help to bring the logs up our drive and into our shed. I managed to arrange this and rang the company to deliver on a specific date but I was told in no uncertain terms that this was not possible and that it would turn up whenever. I was very disappointed at this response as I have ordered from this company for many years and had always got the delivery dates I wanted. Consequently I cancelled the order and have got the logs from elsewhere. I will not order from them again.”

Dear Elizabeth, as per our terms and conditions our subcontractor official service is kerbside only. In the current situation within the logistics industry, we are not able to prearrange delivery dates - that has been left to the individual depots. The time frame for all deliveries has been extended to 10 working days. LWC Team

“It was easy to place my order. It wasn’t long before the currier company rang to arrange delivery. I also had to change my delivery slot at short notice and the company was very obliging. I cannot fault the helpfulness of the currier company staff or their drivers.”

“good value for money. delivered in only a couple days of ordering. the driver was nice and friendly and deposited them in the garage where i asked him to. so easy no more back breaking stacking logs that have been dumped on the driveway, and would take sometimes upto 2 hours to stack then the driveway had to be swept , HAPPY DAYS!!!!!! no contest no going back. the briquettes really burn slowly but well and throw out a lot of heat but dont spit out on your rug as normal logs can. happy customer”

“I had been using the Luxury Wood company for a number of years until sadly, on this occasion being let down. I still consider the product to be excellent, I purchase kiln dried Ash nets, but the delivery service less so. I am of course aware of current road haulage difficulties but having made 2 appointments, waited in both days for nobody to arrive, nor make any sort of contact on either of my contact numbers, I cancelled my order. Very disappointing.”

“Very easy to order, good prices and very good communications. Getting a suitable delivery date was well organised. The only niggle was that some of the logs were rather large and will need to be split down to fit the log burner.”

“Poor communication from when the order was placed. I ordered and there was no follow-up, I had to chase for an update. I suggested a week that the wood could be delivered as I was out of the country, it turned up the week I was out of the country and sat on my driveway for a weekend (Wife couldn't park her car over the weekend). To be fair the pallet was well wrapped and was protected from a light shower. The wood (Hornbeam) is bone dry but when I compare it to other wood suppliers I have had in the past, the logs a not very thick (Lots of small quick burn logs, not many bigger logs that will slowly burn away an afternoon), meaning that you go through them at quite a rate.”

“In spite of dire warnings about delivery delays, my order of firewood was delivered in just a few days. The wood is very good quality: long lasting and well behaved. The net bags are convenient and easy to handle. 100% satisfied!”
