“Excellent price and the oak quality is good. Delivery needs improvement - better to provide a delivery date quicker on placing order with a time slot at least two days before rather than on the morning.”

“Logs were very dry and the crate was well made and of a fair size, the oak logs burn well but I would have preferred a chunkier-sized log which was as shown on the website photo as I have a 14 Kw boiler stove which can chew through the smaller sized logs. Suppose they can't pick and choose what they get in stock but that's why I docked them a star.”

“This is a good fuel supplier who I have used previously to purchase kiln dried logs from and found the quality very good. Delivery is usually reliable and prompt but I believe the carrier has been out sourced and received numerous very confusing messages about delivery and tracking on said it would deliver at 11.59 pm which would never have been realistic. I phones the carrier to arrange a new date as they had cancelled original delivery day and advised when not to deliver as I would be out so they delivered on the day I advised them not to. It was dry at the delivery address but the pallet covering was torn and the boxes of natural firelight’s were wet damaged and spilled onto the log nets. I rang the Luxury Wood Company and spoke to a lovely young lady who was most apologetic and said that she would arrange to have a new delivery of fire lighters sent by courier. She did and they arrived within a few days with some extra boxes. They just need to sort out their delivery company as they are not doing a great fuel supplier like The Luxury Wood Company any favours. This is the first time I have had a reason to complain so hopefully it will be taken on board.”

“The wood good but the delivery company is really bad for three days running they said it was going to be delivered but wasn’t and on the tracking each day it said it was out for delivery but didn’t turn up.We eventually got it when we didn’t know it was coming.”

“Good quality Eco-briquettes. Exactly what I wanted. My only criticism would be I didn't get a delivery option and the only correspondence I got was a text on the morning that it was to be delivered.”

“Poor communication from company. Pallet of wood ordered and paid for. Delivery aborted by courier because pallet was badly wrapped and not secure. No replacement available. Not informed of issues and had to send email since calls not answered. They take your money and I am yet to receive my pallet!! 6 -7 weeks for delivery a joke!! Will not be using again. Luxury !!!! Jokers !! Can’t recommend.”

Dear Vincent, Sadly the product you have ordered is not in stock anymore - that is why we couldn't send a replacement. We have requested the return of the goods 12 days ago and unfortunately still waiting for the pallet to arrive at our warehouse and to be repaletised. LWC Team

“Whilst the wood was well stacked in the pallet I received from the luxury wood company and diverted in good time, I was a little disappointed that the actual square metre size of the pallet received was approximately 1.3 metres square which did not relate to the 2.2 metres quoted. On looking back on the website, the 2.2 square metres quoted, relates to tipping the well stacked pallet into sacks thus bolstering the load. The other minus was that I ordered kiln dried oak, yet there was quite a bit of silver birch in my load. There is nothing but good to be said about the service that the luxury wood company provided, I was just a little disappointed with my logs. Mind you they do burn well”

“I am a standing customer who has always been happy with the helpful girl on the telephone, the delivery has always been prompt . the wood great standard, Unfortunately, the last delivery for some reason had massive logs in it that would need to be axed before use. I am by no means young anymore just fortunate my son-in-law lives close by to do this for me. Not really what I have experienced in the past. Susan”

“I was very disappointed with the quality of the oak posts 75x75x2400, which I bought from a Luxury wood company. most of them with uneven edges and some of them were bent. I will think twice before buying anything from this company”

Dear Vattakkatt, The oak sleepers and posts we offer are landscaping grade and as per our website, some imperfections such as wane, knots, cracks, warping are possible. LWC Team
