“The Luxury Wood Company was recommended by Fireplaces & Heating, Luton, who installed our two burners back in December. , Fireplaces & Heating use The Luxury Wood Company for their wood, so we benefited from a referral offer of £10 off our first order. I did a lot of comparisons of various suppliers, and The Luxury Wood Company seems very reasonably priced. Delivery is ok but not super quick - 1-2 weeks, so you need to make sure your stocks don't run down. They do good priced log nets which are fantastic for storing - maybe not quite as cheap as loose logs, but they have saved us a lot of work and headache with storage. We have ordered kiln dried ash for our past two orders. Logs arrived very protected with sellophane - great if they arrive on a rainy day. The only niggle has been with our second order, in which a lot of the logs were double size, and really difficult to fit in our burners - hence dropping a star. We have had to get the axe out and chop some down, which is not ideal. Our next order is in - oak this time to see if we can get a longer burn as our burners are eating the logs up. Hoping we don't have quite as many double-size logs in this order. Would like to see some more offers and hoping to see reduced prices in summer, so we can stock up.”

“The wood is good quality but I am amazed as to why delivery takes so long every time, it has been typically up to two weeks. Other supplier can sent in a few days. Even next day from White Energy. There is never any comunication coming through once the order is placed, you are all in the dark when you will receive the order. Disappointing, this needs to improve!”

“I have for many years, been very happy with the quality and service of The Luxury Wood Company My only reservation is the removal of the giant crates, which were both better value and easier to store at the beginning of my burning season. Having to re-order half-way through was a major inconvenience and cost to me.”

“On the whole I’ve found Luxury Wood a good company. We’ve had three deliveries of wood and assorted items from you. One recent pallet of logs was slightly less high quality than the others but generally all good products. The only real improver would be the delivery company that is used. They were not as good as they could be. A very friendly driver, however, twice they didn’t deliver when they said they would. When they arrived they don’t have the ability to move the heavy logs across gravel to where they need to be stored. Given that the vast number of houses ordering logs are likely to have gravel driveways this seems a bit of a fundamental floor and certainly frustrating for customers. All that said we think Luxury Wood Company to offer a good product and service.”

“The order was as specified and delivered via a third-party courier. Delivery time and date could have been more readily clarified at the point of order, but generally a good service and a very good product. I do recommend and will be using The Luxury Wood Company again. NW - North Wales 07/08/2023”

“Prompt processing of order, delivery/ collection instuctions clear, special requirements passed on to carrier so I could collect from their depot. All went smoothly and to plan. Will use Luxury wood co. again.”

“The quality and quantity of the hornbeam crate is the best I've seen and represented good value compared to loose builders bags from my local supplier. The only niggle was the delivery company Pallet force let the service down a little by only giving 40 minutes notice of delivery. I would have hoped for at least a day's notice of delivery date, so I could arrange to be home. I wasn't near home at the time and so this could have been a problem but luckily my wife wasn't working that day.”
