“We were away when the logs arrived. The pallets were placed in the perfect position not to block the access on our return. Never bought stacked logs before but it does seem a fairer way of selling them rather than loose. The packing was robust and sealed. It had rained plus a topping of Sahara sand! Moisture content c. 14%. There is also the bonus of rustic shelving made from the pallet wood! Very happy and will buy again.”

“One happy customer. This was the first time I have placed an order with The Luxury Wood Company, order was placed for a full crate of Ash logs, the ordering proceses was easy. I am very impreaed with the quality and size of the logs supplied. Will defentley recomend and re order with this company.”

“Ordering was trouble free. Price was very competitive. The logs are good. The actual delivery was great. What prevents a 5-star rating is that no one from your Company called me to organise delivery: I had to call you twice to find out when the logs were being delivered. So, overall very good except for the delivery scheduling.”

“Not at all happy.Would not deliver to our address cos the lane is too narrow.We have a fire engine down our lane on a regular basis because of heathland fires.We are waiting for a delivery but dont really know when it is coming. The company itself seems O.K. but the company they employ to deliver the product seems a bit rubbish”

“I have been a customer of Luxury Wood for a few years buying crates of Silver Birch. I have been very pleased with the quality of wood and the delivery as the crate is palleted into my garage. I have just ordered my second crate for 2026.”

“This is the third purchase of pellets from this company, the first lot of pellets burnt well, the second one didn't. I wasn't sure if it was my boiler or the pellets, the boiler engineer said there was too much moisture in the pellets which is why the burner was backing up. I've decided to give the company another go because the first batch was ok, I'm hoping it was a one off. The price is very reasonable and the delivery cost is free. The delivery company is hit and miss, it depends who the driver is, the pellets have been stacked incorrectly and shifted on the pallet which means all the bags had to be handballed off, at 15kg for each bag, that is a massive inconvenience, especially in the rain. The bags have split, due to the way the have been stacked. Twice the delivery company didn't contact me to arrange delivery, I had to call them to stop the delivery as I wasn't in to receive it. This company has provided a credit note to add to the next order when there's been a split bag, oddly they ask how much has spilt out, it doesn't matter the bag is open and now subject to moisture. I will see if I have issues with the next order, this will determine if I use this company again.”

“I have always found the Luxury Wood Company very good - fuel is excellent and easy to order both for myself and my sister. Hauliers can sometimes be a problem as they have failed to notify delivery dates at times.”

“Excellent quality wood, very fast delivery, delivery driver was brilliant, extremely helpful, and the wood works out a lot cheaper than local suppliers, who sell wood by the cubic metre loose which seems cheaper, but is actually a lot less wood than the Luxury Wood delivery which is tightly stacked.”
