“Extremely poor level of customer service. We were told the wrong information at least three times.”

“Very disturbing and disappointed by the overall customer service I received by savoy timber. Lack of to the point of no information given about my delivery not to be delivered. ( Stayed in all day). Phoned but non compliant on why the my product wasn't delivered, rearranged for the following week same again no delivery..No apologies or full understanding, so I had to leave my home In the south west ( Bristol) and drove up north ( blackpool & wigan) to pick up my order, to reassure myself I wasnt getting ripped off...I had to fully reasurred myself And take away the stress I was starting to have...Awful experience.”

Good morning, We are so sorry and apologise for your bad experience when purchasing your goods from us. We pride ourselves on our customer experience and so when this breaks down take these rare instances very seriously. As we explained there was a delay on the products from manufacturer into our national distribution centre and for this we apologise. To be fair we did offer a number of solutions, to pallet the goods direct to you from our Blackpool store at our expense or to provide you with a full refund so you could source elsewhere, but as you were on a very tight schedule you, as you mentioned, decided to travel to store to collect. Subsequently we have of course refunded your delivery plus refunded a large portion of your order cost to make up for the inconvenience and cover your travel expenses. Even though this does not change the delay in your products we hope this goes someway to make your experience slightly better and we wish you all the best with the completion of your DIY project. “I ordered a sample of a few worktops the envelope arrived even labelled with the samples I requested... however inside was just the one sample and it ended up being the one I wasn't too keen on in the first place, if you can't accurately send out even a sample, won't risk ordering the actual worktop I needed, you even labelled the envelope correctly so who forgot to put the actual samples inside???”

“Ordered online and paid on line 2 days before I collected, order wasn't ready so I had to wait in a shop full of people, no masks to be seen, paperwork wasn't found at first, only when I quoted my order number did they realise they where looking in the wrong pile, my paperwork was in a different pile. I was then asked to take my paperwork through to where the worktops are cut, I handed it to one guy who put it down somewhere, then a second guy asked me what I was collecting but he couldn't find my paperwork again, he eventually found it and then he cut my order on the big saw, an order they'd had for two and a half days. All in all, pretty rubbish.”

“Delivery time was fine, Other than that I was very disappointed with the product. There were multiple chips and and dents on all sides of the worktop. The packaging was aweful with only half of the front edge covered leaving the other half exposed to bumps. (which obviously happened) One end of the laminate was pealing off. After having to pay 30 pounds for delivery I was at least expecting it to be brought into my home (I understand covid makes things hard) This was a 3m worktop that myself and my wife were left having to bring up a flight of stairs. I've ordered from other supliers who charge less for delivery and had 2 people who brought it up and in to the house. Honestly, aweful. I was able to salvage a section big enough for my needs. If I didn't absolutely need it this week I would have asked for another.”

Hi there, so sorry to hear that your worktop was damaged in transit and of course in these circumstances we would replace your product straight away, we would prioritise any replacement for you to get to you ASAP we would try and get the replacement to you within a few days of notification. I have checked your order and we have had no such notification, so of course we have not been able to help so far, this review being the first we have seen of your issue but if you have not installed your item we will of course replace straight away for you please let us know kind regards Savoy Timber

“Very disappointed! I ordered a door way back in September 20 and it only arrived on the 15th of January 21. Despite 3 phone calls and 1 chat and 1 e-mail no one ever came back to me on what was happening with the door, understandebly Covid 19 may have had a knock effect with production etc, but no one ever returned the call even though they said they would. Eventually (another phone call) i managed to speak with a Manager who was quite condescending over the phone, the door was eventually delivered, and to my amazement it was damaged? So it will have to go back......”

“Waited over 7 weeks for a door they only got back to me about delays twice and at one point said it was despatched only For them to say it hadn’t once rang and didn’t receive Eventually got my door again once I rang to enquire again the it was dispatched and received with in 3 days of last call !!”

“Ordered three worktop samples. A week later had heard nothing so chased, to be told that two of them were out of stock but were due in soon. Was asked if I would accept edge trim instead - said that I really wanted samples of the worktop and would be happy to wait. Chased again and was told that samples had been sent, eventually received them nearly 3 weeks later but had been sent trim rather than worktop samples. Very disappointed, poor service and communication.”

“I have had the worst service ever, I ordered a worktop to be delivered 3/12/2020, the driver phoned me to get directions, then proceeded to swear at me, he put the phone down, when I phoned him back he answered but wouldn’t talk, I tried a few times, went to exit on the farm no Worktop. Next morning still nothing. 24hr express delivery! I don’t think so, I phoned Savoy to complain about bad service, and just got sorry we can’t do anything, until Monday! Needless to say I cancelled my order waiting for my full refund.”

“Purchased through eBay because said fast delivery. Was delighted when eBay showed goods despatched with a latest deliver date as Saturday 28th November. Booked our carpenter to come Saturday afternoon to fit the worktop. It didn’t arrive. Phoned them on the following Monday only to be told wasn’t even despatched yet? After some negotiations it was agreed that it would be delivered by Tufnell latest Wednesday 6pm. Needless to say it hasn’t arrived, builder booked in for tomorrow but no worktop for him to fit again! So tomorrow it’s another battle with this company to sort this mess out. Not happy would definitely NOT recommend.”

“I ordered the 3.6x3.6 decking kit, arrived on Tuesday put up on Saturday, I stored it in the garage when delivered, but when putting it together all the wood was bowing. not 1 straight piece!! won't be ordering from here again!!!”
