Not the greatest experience trying to get through on the phone is virtually impossible and out of the three items I got two where the wrong items

Hi there, thank you for your review, I have checked with the Wigan store who will contact you regards any incorrect items. The issue we can have from time to time is that if one of our stores are busy, as in a lot of customers in store then the counter staff do have to prioritise customers in store over telephone calls, we will always try and answer the store phone lines as quickly as possible - i apologise for any delay kind regards Savoy Timber

I ordered splashback, it's came without any package, not wrapped. Colour was more yellow then white. Size was not as described, thikness instead of 9mm was all 11mm. Not so happy about purchase, low quality. Only delivery was in time and professionally.

I ordered two worktops cut joint, glue and clamps took 4 weeks to deliver because they were being cut. When they were delivered they were not cut, no clamps or glue. Much stress for me.Kitchen out of commission. Then had to chase Savoy. Eventually got cut worktops. No glue or clamps. How do you think you did? I have had no apology or offer of compensation.

Delivery delayed Not full delivery in pack After experience on phone over delayed delivery and not opening my pack for over a week due to work commitments I never bothered ring up of insufficient base wood not in pack but I wouldn’t recommended or buy from savoy again !!!

Hi there, I am sorry your delivery was delayed. This is not normal service, I can not see that the order was moved to another day on our system. I can only presume it arrived later that day. We don't give times as the drivers are not able to predict times due to traffic. If goods are missing we are always here to help. I am sorry you didn't get in touch so we could rectify this for you. I know its a value deck but two deck boards are too short, a main 3 mt support brace was badly warped. Timber quality in general very poor. Also delivery cost of over £70, would not recomend or use again

Spindles, handrail and baserail all arrived damaged and dirty. Many of the spindles are too covered in black and damaged to use at all

Hi Terry, The timber weathers over time and will become more of a grey colour over time. Sorry we are unable to guarantee the colour to be exactly the same as the image. Timber does vary in shade. Best Regards Savoy timber

Pretty poor service all round really. Ordered online Friday, waited for notification to collect. By Saturday decided to ring Wigan Store. Ansafone and put on hold. After 10 rings line disconnected. Repeated this five time Saturday and Three times Monday ( closed Sunday). Finally went down to Wigan from Chorley, 7 miles. They had no idea about order as Preston had picked it up. Apparently, because i live in Chorley my PR7 postcode is covered by Preston, and it basically got ignored. Not being able to wait i gave up cancelked order and went to work without the bits i had waited three days for. BLOODY SHAMBLES.

Rang firstly because hadn't had email Confirming order was ready. Person on phone asked for order number, I said was driving could she use address, she said "well can you try get it, it's far easier for me with that than searching addresses" Was very rude and abrupt. Then when actually came to collect the staff were totally rude, completely ignored by everyone for over 10 minutes! Order wasn't ready and had to cut me a worktop, passed the book by 2/3 people who was actually going to do the job. Only nice person was the end guy who cut it and carried it to my car. Would never consider recommending to anybody, absolutely shocking customer service

Never received the x5 fence panels capping strips from my order, when phoned to query why missing was told on back order and would be sent out when arrived. Nothing heard since, also now as took so long have misplaced the original order paperwork.

Was told my delivery would be on the Tuesday and that someone had to be present to assist with the unloading. The delivery date happened to coincide with a family funeral but my wife agreed that she would go on her own to save any hassle. Having forwarded an email earlier asking for an estimated arrival time I decided at around 4:30pm to contact Savoy only to be told that the delivery was now Thursday! I wouldn’t have minded the changed date if they had only informed me. In the end, I missed a family funeral and also spent the whole day (from 8am) waiting on a delivery that was never going to arrive! If the star rating had a zero being the lowest, I’m afraid that would have been it

Dear Sir, Firstly we would like to apologise for the late delivery, We are investigating why this was not delivered on time. This was a direct delivery from the supplier. They gave us a date which we passed on to you. The first we knew that there was a delay was when you contacted us. We are looking for answers as to why this happened and will be in touch. Hi There ,Seeing as we have had no contact from you whatsoever for over 12 months then a review to say the product was unsatisfactory, we have been left with very little we can do to help at this time. It's very unusual for a customer to receive a gate, fit it then complain about it online without reporting any quality issues to us. For us to be able you deal with issues we do have to be told about them. If we are told we always do our best to help. The loose panels you described are part of the gate construction. They are left slightly loose so they can be removed and moved to the opposite side of the gate, so it can be hung either way. Chicken and egg situation as you described it on our phone call today, is not helpful to you as a customer, or us as a reputable company that always goes the extra mile to help our customers. Very flimsy 5m decking boards,,had to return quite a few as they arrived split straight down the full length,then the replacements didn’t turn up when agreed..👎👎

Hi There, So sorry your replacements were not on time. Due to massive timber shortages and huge transport issues throughout the country at that time, it took a few days longer than expected. Promise after failed promise regarding delivery. Never rang back when promised either. Spent hours chasing them up. Would NEVER deal with this company again. Ended up cancelling part of order. Shockingly bad customer service.

Bought decking and fixtures last year, huge delay with the decking delivery (booked a week off work to do it!). Still waiting for the bits - that was last year!
