After receiving my purchase from Savoy Timber yesterday, this is the message I sent to them... Dear Savoy timber sales team I have just opened my package of the zenith wood stone worktop sample and to say I am surprised is an understatement!!! I can’t believe you have just sent me a blooming bookmark as a sample to help me decide on a major design choice for a kitchen! It has no texture, depth or reality to a piece of worktop or ability to match with units with such a minute size sample. I was hoping it was a joke. I have ordered a sample of concrete from another company and have an actual piece the size of table mat to work with. I certainly do not expect to pay £1.50 and .99p postage for this and expect a refund credited to my paypal account. In this day of ‘blogging’ and social media reviewing companies goods I would have thought you could not get away with such poor, rip off gestures of work, or want to when you do not know what people are requesting your goods which may be beneficial to your business. I look forward to hearing from you. ....... I think my review speaks for itself

Good Afternoon, I'm really sorry to hear that you feel that the sample we sent to you is of inferior quality. These are the samples that are supplied to us by the manufacturer of the product. We do state on our website that the samples are samples of the laminate as opposed to actual pieces of worktop, I'm sorry if this was misunderstood. My worktop arrived damaged. I opted to have it cut to size though the veneer had been chipped in the process. It was also missing the free edging trim. I relayed all my problems to a customer service representative. I then received a 2nd worktop and yet again, no edging trim. Numerous attempts to rectify these problems has taken a number of emails and at least 6 phone calls. No apology. I'm still waiting for the edging trim.

I have only received half my order, and that was short of 10 Decking boards, should have received 80 Decking boards only recieved 30. and I've PAID FOR DELIVERY.

I bought a sample of laminate for £1.25 (plus £0.99 postage) and was sent a tiny broken off-cut. How they have the audacity to charge for such a pathetic sample which I can hardly use, I do not know, and to charge £0.99 postage for some thing so light, and thus even marking this up too, beggars belief.

Hi Mrs Leaver, sorry you ended up canceling your order. I have looked into what happened and it looks like we struggled getting hold of your product. 1. Delivery time too long. 2. Informed me very late that the decking I ordered was ou of stock. 3. Eventually supplied oversized decking that was cut to the length I ordered but the lengths of the boards were all different and appeared to have been cut by a blind person. 4. Poor communication from customer support as it appears if that person has time off then your queries go unanswered.

I payed £60 delivery to be told I had to carry two 3 metre worktops into my home. I am 5”1 woman of 56! Will never buy from this company again.

I ordered 3 doors on the 11th off May 2 of which were bespoke. I didn't receive the complete order until the 20th of August. I understand in the current climate that delays on materials is common however what is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication from Savoy. Not once in over 3 months did I receive an email or call to update me on the order I had to call numerous times to get updates all of which not one person knew when my order would be complete. Then out of the blue a delivery turned up with no notification prior (the order was incomplete). Then I had to chase the rest of the order again to be told one of the doors was out of stock and I would receive in 2 weeks. The complete lack of communication from Savoy is shocking.

Hi keiran, Sorry you had to wait we shut or workshop for a while due to Covid. We did send updates regularly , they were sent via email. This is the same for the delivery notifications . from time to time these go to customers junk folders. either this or we have a wrong email address from when you placed the online order . I am afraid that I had very poor service from Savoy Timer. Firstly, I had to chase down that Savoy Timber had even received my order. When I did get a response and asked about shipment date - all I receive was “sometime this week”, which wasn’t helpful at all. Next, the shipping company was supposed to contact me when they were going to deliver. Instead, they showed up, completely unannounced at my door, 30 minutes before I needed to be somewhere. No email, no telephone call, even though I had given Savoy Timber both and the telephone number was on the packaging. Finally, the shipment was incomplete. To this day, I still haven’t received the full order or even any explanation on what was happening, despite emailing Savoy Timber and asking. I don’t need it any more as I went down the the local DYI shop and got the final pieces of timber and weed lining myself - which is what I should have done in the first place. All in all, it was a shoddy service and definitely not worth the money or hassle I had to go through.

I ordered a sample of composite decking that was not sent. I rang and chased and you said you would send again but never got it the second time. I have now placed an order some where else

Delivery took weeks , couldn’t get any answer from the store in Wigan countless times , no email to let us know delivery date on another purchase we made , poor service .

decking ordered was 19mm, what turned up was between 13-15mm. Ive had to lay it but don't recommend any body above8 stone wall on it. Add to that the wood is very wet and I fully expect it to warp as it dries out. On the whole not happy at all.

Communication is extremely poor, waited months for my order, send damaged goods, then waited weeks again for replacements...I wouldn't give this company a penny if I needed to buy again.

I ordered decking sample which never turned up, I rang up to see why and they said they'd send another, that never turned up either. Spent over £2000 on decking elsewhere, their loss

Probably the worst company for customer service I have ever dealt with. Nearly a total of 3 hours on the phone chasing promises that never happened. Spoke to 4 different managers who all gave promises. Has an email to say delivery would be w/c 20.7.20 they turned up 14.08.20 and 2 totally different colours. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Thank you for taking the time to review our service, we are sorry that your order was delayed. You ordered 2 oak patrices unfortunately there is a national shortage of this product. In retrospect we should have informed you that we could not help but as you rightly point out 4 managers throughout the business assisted in locating and matching up two wall patrices for your handrail as we wanted to assist.
