“Products good quality if a little pricey. Service ok. Would be a higher rating but their IT infrastructure sucks. Their website is slower than a zx84 and they send emails telling you collection orders are ready but without mentioning you’d have to wait an hour for it to be cut”

“Would have given a better mark had they used a more reliable courier. Part of the shipment was not delivered. What was delivered was good and good balue, but can't start the build until all components arrive. Poor as no dispatch notification from Savoy, so didnt know a delivery day...and an email notification of delivery from courier just 50mins before it arrived requesting someone be at home ...”

“Decking kit great but the decking planks were not all the same length out by between 3 and 5mm which made one side look awful.”

“Great product but very disappointed with the delivery service they help me unload it which was good but they expected me to keep the 4 m long pallet what am I going to do with it at a domestic place is ridiculous and when I spoke to someone from your office all he could say was will send it back he did not know you had to keep the pallet but he should know he uses a service but in the end they said they would keep the pallet which was good of them”

“Delivery was fine, but the state of some of the shorter lengths of timber (1800mm) was poor, with many lengths covered with mould which proved difficult to sand off prior to weather-proofing. No such problems with the longer lengths (2400), so I assume this was a problem with the storage conditions for the 1800x34 pieces? in addition, the lengths were all 1820mm, rather than the advertised 1800mm. Was there a problem with the settings on the equipment used for cutting?”

“Bought 25 lengths of Decking which I'm very pleased with and also a decking frame 'kit'. Emphasis on the word kit as it was 9 lengths of wood & a box of screws. To make a 2.4m square decking kit the inner joists are supposed to be cut smaller which I pointed out to the guy who brought it out to me. I had to cut 90mm off 5 big joists with my handsaw. So really it's not a kit!”

“Great products and service with samples of worktops and templating service. I ordered samples of zenith worktops as i was indecisive good product swift delivery Could not get hold of online team in Wigan orders as test were busy waited most of the day for a call back”

“The worktop matches my other and is damage free thank you, The only downside is there was only 1 delivery driver that brought a 3 metre by 38mm thick worktop. When he arrived said to my daughter on delivery I cannot get it into my living room because of a tight corner, so he put it at the side of my house open to the elements which I wasn't happy about. I got home that evening and got it into my living room very easily.”

“Excellent quality sample kitchen door, but shame you can't buy them in store as it took 3 months to deliver when advertised as a 48 hour service. Staff said all the doors were delayed, not just samples - so hope it was just a blip for when I order the full set. Excellent packaging, no chance of getting damaged in transit.”

“Did not get what I ordered as they had not got 4.8 meter boards so was sent 5.1 meter boards instead so I now have to cut each board down to 4.8 as that is the size of board needed for my frame. Also the fascia kit did not arrive but was replaced by decking boards what I rang to ask about this I was told that they where only decking boards. I was charged £70 for a kit when I could have bought the same boards £12.55 cheaper so really it would cost £12.55 for a few screws The delivery driver was brilliant and helped me carry the decking boards into my garden as I have a bad back”

“No trade prices keeps your mark down, we tradesmen have to keep our prices low to get the job but have to travel to obtain materials so profit is low. Even a 10% trade deal would a give you more business and give greater buying power due to bulk buying! Trade is waiting for you to step up to the mark!”

Hi there, we offer trade discount at each of our stores, all you have to do is complete a trade account application form through your local store, this is dependent on monthly spend with a minimum monthly spend condition. We have offered trade discount for years kind regards Savoy Timber

“We eventually got our correct work top delivered and cut to size we only wanted a small amount and they were the only company that did this. Unfortunately we had 2 delivered the wrong thickness before we got what we eventually got what we wanted. Not sure what went wrong.”

“Your website didn't let me pick which depot I wanted to collect my order from and just picked preston for me because I have a PR postcode. But I live near Wigan so I had a bit of a faf to sort it out”

Hi Sir, Thanks for your review, I am sorry your not happy with your product . We found out that the manufacturer has upgraded the product ,so the rebate is attached to suit the door on installation. We are sorry that we did not find this out from the manufacturer, until after they dispatched your order. I know the last time you spoke to someone you advised that you would decided if you would like to use the product, or return. You advised you would be back in touch if you wished to return the product. “Ordered online arrived to collect had to go inside wait in line for collection note then take outside to yard where is the convenience ? Order should have been with the yard ready for collection!!”

“Staff late opening had a driver paid by the hour stood waiting to get it when advertised 8pm opening. Busy moving wood around the yard and wouldn’t let me driver in as they were not ready to open if that happens every morning I suggest staff getting in at 7.30 Also post Crete very expensive. Price on wood competitive”
