The installation engineer was on time and was friendly, helpful and carried out the installation quickly and efficiently. He took the time to set up the system and guide me through the process of using the app.

The communication and changing of installation dates could use some improvement. The installation itself was great. The installer did a fantastic and very neat job. He then took his time to ensure I was confident and happy with how to operate the pod.

Installation was rushed by your operative "Frank". The installation around the meter area is ugly and I'm not sure it meets the requisite regulations. The mains splitter/terminal box is mounted directly to the wall along with your cutout. Normally I would have expected these devices to be mounted on a separate meter board. All the meter seals have been removed and I assume I've now got to get EDF to replace them.

Kevin, our installer, identified the best route for the cable and then set about installing our home charger with the minimum of fuss. A few hours later, it was up and running.

Can’t thank the engineer Carl enough, so helpful and really friendly. Getting hold of the office was difficult at times but once did get hold of someone they too were very helpful.

We are happy with our Pod Point charger, it has been fitted neatly and fully charges our Hybrid car in two hours. We live in a 1930s semi that has a typical looped Earth system. It was a little disappointing that the earth was only tested at the end of the installation where it was found to be below the required level. We then had a delay of 2 or 3 weeks to get this fixed before the installation could be finished. You also need more staff on the phone, regularly on hold for 30 minutes

The ordering process found it difficult to handle our very rural location and this also had an impact on the installation. The electrician was thorough, cautious and constrained by expectations of the ‘fit’ that were not relevant to our situation. The tethered podpoint charger is not as neat as its untethered counterpart.

Annoying phone service. Paid when trying to establish contact with your website with photos the site kept crashing. Couldnt speak to anyone to advise of this problem. Sent e mails x 2. Eventually hear back and asked for a surveyor to attend our property to take photos to support installation. Engineer/surveyor booked for 1100 on Monday 18.12.23. Turned up promptly at 1100. After a quick examination of the location, the engineer advised he could fit the charger on the day We were naturally overjoyed at this news as installation could potentially have dragged into New Year. Engineer was very efficient and provided my wife with a detailed explanation of how to operate the charger. What had started as a poor experience with Podpoint was thankfully improved with the actual efficient prompt installation which helped reverse our initial thoughts.
