The booking of the install wasn't quite the experience we wanted. to have two cancellations before the final date. The installer was polite and carried out a good job with the exception of the damage on the external render, however, the route for the cable was a little difficult to get the drill from the outside to the inside. maybe drilling a pilot hole first would have helped

Very happy with the experience- I received a free Pod Point charger from Jaguar Land Rover when I bought my iPace. Pre installation was easy enough- I had to send photos and the installation team made observations as to how the charger will be installed. Ashley, the installation engineer, arrived on time and started the 3 hour installation. He did a very neat and tidy job, connecting into my meter box with a dedicated RCD fitted. After installation Ashley went through the internet connection with me and explained how to work the charger.

It took a little while to be installed from the booking and unfortunately my first appointmentwas missed. However, the install had been done very professionally as was not an easy install as power was under the stairs and no outside wall. Trunking was better than I thought it would look. (As seen in picture). Engineer was very pleasant and helpful. Good job!

The booking process was rather long and complicated and the date got moved due to availability of the installation engineer which messed up our plans but the guy on the day was very nice and did a great job.

Placed order in seconds, and installed within a few days. Good communication at all times and installer was faultless. Respectful on our property throughout and clearly explained everything before departing. First class customer experience, well done!

The service I have received from podpoint has to be honest been appalling. I can’t comment on the product because after nearly two months of owning an EV, I still do not have a working podpoint. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get this issue resolved. Spoken to numerous people always to be told it is a different department which I need to speak to. When I’m put through to that department they are all busy. I have been told six times so far that someone will call me back. No one has ever called me!! The last time I spent time on the phone with a representative filling out a form which I was told would ā€˜guarantee’ a call back. I’m still waiting for that phone call. I have written so many emails I have lost count. All of this has cost me considerable time and also cost a lot of money as I’m having to us public chargers. By your refusal to call me or deal with this issue I can only assume that now you have my money you do not care about providing the product I paid for. I would strongly recommend anyone to use another supplier. My experience of Podpoint has been terrible

The engineer was prompt on the day of installation. He was quick at installing the charger after explaining the possible options for placement of it to minimise the amount of wire shown on the outside of the house which was a worry for myself. He was able to answer any queries I had and overall done a great job.

Unclear electrical requirements from the outset, exceptionally poor communication including completely ignoring email and telephone requests for an update, lack of stock of required component. They don't even merit one star.

Great installer, cannot fault him. However, my installation date was booked - via an email and confirmed on the phone for the THIRD time - for the 29th Dec but the installer had been given the wrong date AGAIN. I then had to rearrange personal appointments over the Xmas period to fit in with the installer which is unreasonable. The amount of mix-ups and admin errors I have had over the installation date from PodPoint is astounding. PodPoint don't seem to be able to co-ordinate anything correctly. Very dissapointing. Now that installation has taken place I still haven't received anything in writing which confirms my 5 year warranty. This will mean another 30-40 mins holding on in a telephone queue waiting to speak with someone :(

The process for ordering online was simple and straightforward and an appointment to install was made in a few days. The installer arrived promptly and completed the work in a couple of hours. The only downside to the ordering process was that the initial instructions did not specify all the photographs which would be required when completing the application form, so it was necessary to take more photos in the middle of the process.

Good company. Installer was ok, but left a lot of rubbish, which he didn't tell me about. We also had a handy circuit list attached to our fuse box, which the installer chose to remove, again without telling me. Only just managed to stop it blowing away completely! I put an X on the wall as requested by Pod Point, but box was not put there. I did not get any information from the installer as to why he didn't use the X. Other than that he was an ok person and gave me instructions about the unit before leaving.
