10 weeks later sent unqualified engineer to fix a neff oven twice absolute waste of £79 how does it get this rating of 4.3 stars more like 1.3 rubbish company

We booked in for a dishwasher repair at £80, then on arrival they told us the appliance could not be repaired as we needed new parts. We paid £90 for the parts through this company. On return visit the repair man told us he couldn’t fix the dishwasher as apparently he couldn’t get it out as it was integrated. Myself and my dad got the appliance out in about 10 minutes the next day and called GoAssist to come and finish the job we had paid for. They told us it would be another £80 for someone to come back and finish the job. We refused to pay and I had a go and have fixed it myself after work. So basically I do not recommend, you will be wasting your money!

Took 5 weeks for my American Fridge Freezer to be fixed .The first part the engineer fitted was faulty .He first came out 2 weeks from my booking The new part came in a few days later but engineer didn’t come out until over two weeks later .The pushy sales person at the start told me they had a 48 hour turnaround that’s what sold it to me even though it was pricey .I got no satisfaction when I complained about the length of time I had to wait .Sales people should not be misleading people about turn around times when they know it ain’t going to happen .I will not be recommending this firm to anyone .They have you over a barrel as they take your money when they take the booking and then wash their hands of you .Disgraceful customer service causing a lot of stress.I had to buy an extra freezer as it took so long

Really high prices, no guarantees of actually fixing your stuff and you will forever receive marketing messages with no way of blocking or unsubscribing.

The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Take your money but do not complete a successful repair. KEEP WELL AWAY from them.

This company is a TELEPHONE DIRECTORY SERVICE. They have no engineers employed by them, you pay them and they look up the nearest engineer to your location. Be aware that they will continue to charge you even if you cancel using the “ sorry your cancellation wasn’t entered on the computer” Look up the tradesmen you require yourself and save yourself money.

Kept changing price have paid out £210 on 27th September and still not had an engineer visit to even guage the problem its now the 7th october this morning had a message to say would be a visit on 15th.......18 days after booking and payment was made......... Just not good enough!!!!!! Straight on phone to tell them it's disgusting service and just got told she'd see what they can sort 🙄 Fast and reliable my butt. 5 kids 2 adults and a faulty fridge freezer 10 days so far pathetic service I will not be reccomending more like telling people steer clear

Awaiting engineer but has not arrived rang customer service but gave up after 40 minutes trying to find out what time the engineer was coming. Not good

Avoid this company, talk about hidden costs. £40.50 admin charge applied to parts that cost £25. Their excuse is that its a 90 day warranty which i would expect to get anyway if they did the work. Daylight robbery. Paid an initial fee of £119 and all this just to fix a washing machine door handle. I wish I had read the reviews first!!!!

Customer Services helpful and efficient. Quick response from 1st Engineer to assess replacement of fan in Neff oven 23 years old. Kept informed of progress. Fan installed by Dan P 10 days later in advised time slot. Efficient and helpful service

WARNING- do not use this company. They are appalling and easily the worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. DO NOT USE THEM! Eleven weeks later and £200 out of pocket I am still no nearer having a successful repair to my fridge/freezer. Even now they are demanding a further £75 for parts they cannot say when they will arrive - already been waiting over 4 weeks! Engineers fail to turn up for appointments, mis-diagnose faults, etc. Customer Services are a joke. They merely fob you off and never do anything positive. The manager of customer services refused to speak to me. So much for customer service! When we asked for a refund given the dreadful and inefficient service received I was told in no uncertain terms where to go! USE THIS FIRM AT YOUR PERIL - wish I hadn’t!!

If I could give this company 0 stars then I would. £120 was paid and it took over 48 hours to acknowledge the email, let alone send out a repair man. Be aware that they have admin fees of £40 despite us having sourced the part. Item not repaired over a week later. Trading Standards will be informed! Do not use this company, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people. The attitude of the staff is deplorable.

Rubbish company, do not use. We have been waiting 11 weeks for a P C B for a dishwasher, told when the engineer came it would take 4 to 8 weeks. We paid £57.00 for the insurance policy on a dishwasher before the engineer came out, and £126.00 for the replacement part. Every week we get text saying that they are waiting for a E T A and they will advise us when available. 3 weeks ago after a phone call to them complaining about the wait etc, we received a email telling us the engineer was due to receive the part and would be in touch as to when it would be fitted. We are still waiting and after a phone today they are still waiting for the part, so therefore the email was to keep us happy!!. We have asked for a refund, but was told that is not possible as the part is on order. Cheaper to buy a new dishwasher. Stay away from this company.

Absolutely appalling service if I could give zero I would, paid £150.00 to fix a washer nearly 4 weeks ago and all we get told is parts on order but no ETA, asked for refund to enable us to go elsewhere but terms and conditions will not allow them, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I've contact GO ASSIST to fix my oven on the 7th of September being told that till 48 hours repair will be available. I paid the package £79 + £7,99 monthly for insurance and booked for the 9th of September. When the engineer came, he couldn't help me, because the screws were rusty and he told me to buy a new oven. This company didn't help me in any way, but they didn't return my money, because they had sent me an engineer. I didn't know that you get paid for work which have not been done. This is unacceptable and rediculaous 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 This is the way how people make money 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Don't use their services. They doesn't help people, just take their money 😡😡😡😡😡

I’ve contact GO ASSIST to fix my fridge frizzer on the 25th of August being told that same day or next day repair are available. I paid the package £79 + £7,99 monthly for insurance and booked for the 27th. On the 26th i have received a text message rescheduling the visit for the 1st of September, got me a bit sad but i had no issue with that. 1st of September had arrived, i had to request time off work to be at home as I hadn’t been given a specific time. The day goes by and no one showed up, when i called go assist I’ve been told that they have cancelled the visit by mistake, I showed my dissatisfaction but manage to get another appointment for the 8th of September (one week later) and keep in mind that I don’t have a fridge for 2 weeks now, what makes impossible to have proper food at home (i am pregnant and haven’t been able to have a proper nutrition for 2 weeks). 6th of September received an email saying “great that your fridge is now working” which it hasn’t even been repaired yet! The engineer showed up on the 8th, looked at the fridge and asked “what seems to be the problem?” My brother explained what it was. The engineer didn’t even touched the fridge to try understand if there was anything he could do, he was there for literally 2 minutes and left saying that he needs to order the part and someone would be in contact. I contacted GO ASSIST again to understand what was going on as i have been told before that the repair would be done on the day. Now they are telling me that i have to wait for the part quote (which apparently it’s not included on what i had paid already (£79 was just for the 2 min visit which was not required as i had already had a phone call before to explain what the issue was so the engineer would be prepared to fix it on that day) and it might take a few more weeks to get it repaired. This is ridiculous and it’s getting out of hand, they do not follow with what they say. I am very upset about it and I regret 100% to choose GO ASSIST!! These company is not trustworthy!!

We have been dealing with go assist and the engineer company they use for over 5 weeks now we £200 pounds out of pocket and our freezer still doesn’t work. Please do not use this company you can’t speak to anyone to complain only by emails that they don’t answer they are totally useless and the repair company they use are worse how they can call themselves number 1 repairer is beyond belief they are more like a number 2.

We have a Samsung appliance just over 2 years old. We called on Go Assist, and their engineer said that our appliance was beyond economical repair. This meant we would have to spend hundreds of pounds on a new one. We then contacted Samsung, who sent out their own engineer who repaired it on the spot! following which a routine upgrade was implemented, all free of charge. I contacted Go Assist numerous times including making a formal complaint, clearly explaining that their engineer had seriously misdiagnosed and was a danger to the public. All they did was to defend him by saying that his conclusion was the same as that of the Samsung engineer, and they were not interested in admitting the truth, and certainly not prepared to give me any refund. I therefore must warn the public that my experience with Go Assist has been very bad

I took out a policy with Go Assist on 5th August and cancelled it a few days later. They have still not refunded my money back yet. I have to keep wasting my time to contact them for a refund. Best to stay away from these guys.
