Caused my husband nothing but stress. Appalling service from start to finish. First engineer turned up and drove off as he'd been given the wrong address. Watch out for the membership fee.

Probably the worst service company I have ever dealt with. I asked for a repair to my fridge and as of today it is almost 6 weeks and I am still waiting for the repair. I have called them on my mobile at least 15 times and whilst the young call centre operators are apologetic it does not help. The engineer was supposed to complete the repair yesterday but the part which was supposed to be delivered to me by dpd did not arrive. when I tracked it today there was a message for me to collect it from a local shop, I went out to get it at 7pm only to find that the store owner was puzzled because he had received notice that he had received the part but in fact he had not. I am disgusted by the treatment I have received from this company.

I called Go-assist to fix my fridge freezer. They took £256 from me and set up a warranty for a further £131 but never fixed the fridge or freezer. They did not respond to the complaint either. So, I got a local engineer to fix it instead and pursuing the case through court to get a refund.

I have had an awful experience: they turned up on the wrong day - causing me to visit a tenanted flat unnanounced, they "con" you with a rather duplicitous web site into buying a " repair" but it it only a visit, they then come up with a huge cost for parts, they also make you buy an insurance policy in addition, for a year! It has cost me more to repair than to replace it - I would NEVER book this company again!

When the engineer came out he said he couldn't replace the door seal on my fridge door as I would have to have a whole new door. I've be e mailing the company to cancel my membership but haven't had any luck with it yet. I wish I had read the reviews before I committed to anything.

I don't think I've experienced a "Service" worse than this. Paid £140 to have our Kitchen extractor fan repaired. One Hundred and 40 quid for the engineer to basically turn up look at it for 5 minutes and tell us. "The Motor isn't working, but it's too old to replace, you'll need to buy a new extractor fan and get it installed" and that was it, something I was pretty sure of. Then he left, no offer of money back, no offer of any recourse, just £140 down the drain. Spoke to customer services who also just shrugged their shoulders and said it was out of their control....how? It's a repair service and no repair took place. Additionally do not be fooled like me with their 'Repair work Guaranteed' this does not mean they guarantee the repair work will be done, simply that IF it does get done, there's warranty on it. Appalling Service all round.

I rang and enquired about a repair. Decided NOT to take up the offer. Ever since then I've BEEN PESTERED by phone calls, text messages and emails, What don't they Understand about the words NO, THANK YOU

beware - they took weeks to tix the first time which promptly broke down, now Ive been waiting nearly another month for my washing machine. I’ve paid over the odds for an incomplete job. Dreadful. I was told that they do not work to any standards regarding how long a job will take

Please do not use this company they just take your money and do nothing. Go directly to someone as they only do same..just getting extra money off you and you probably have to pay extra and you get no refund iff guy just looks at it. Stay clear

This crooked company go assist took £50 out of my account yesterday morning without sending a message too say they had done it. I removed my policy from my direct debits. I was shocked they were able too take the money from cancelling my policy. Called my bank was told they have put a block on these crooks for taking any more payments . Hopefully I'll get my money back.

Please be careful when dealing with company,in October requested a inspection of my fridge freezer paid up front fee to br fair engineer turned up.as scheduled ,told us what was wrong and said we will receive a written quote never received quote,so on 20th October email them saying due to no one contacting us have gone elsewhere,Today 18th December see they have taken £50 out of my account and set up a reoccurring payment? After trying to contact their customer service dept for 30min unsuccessfully and in the midst of trying to get my firstly to stop further money being taken and secondly getting £50 back .

Avoid this company any cost, Extremely bad customer service they seem to employ incompetent engineer who guess what the problem is stead of using testing equipment, e.g mult meter and extra. I have called customer service several times regarding a part that I have paid for and was not needed to repair my fridge, and the manager promise to give me feedback but never?

I rent the property so I won't be able to sign the form. So if I was made aware of it , I would have not made the booking. 2. The information was presented in such a way that, I am not confident to pay again. Even with guarantee from your side ,what if you don't follow or abide by it. It's like, I paid for nothing and again asking money for a service which will be provided latter or not. I hope I make any sense please add aditional booking questions so one can be more sure about service. Thanks.

This company is an absolute joke. They come across as all professional until they have taken your money and then leave you high and dry. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, customer service is shocking and fails to deliver on any promises made by the sales team We ended up £280 in the hole with no fix applied and they wanted another £149 for yet another engineer to attend. On cancelling any further interaction with Go Assist we found out that they had applied a monthly subscription of £19 to our bank which we never agreed to. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear

Paid a £139 call out charge then they wanted to charge £486 for parts and labour. I feel completely conned. Cheaper to get a new dishwasher.

I hired this company to repair my fridge, but the experience was extremely disappointing. First, they replaced a part that was working perfectly fine, only to later realize what the actual issue was. Despite this mistake, they refused to deduct the cost of the unnecessary part they charged me for. To make matters worse, I was contacted by my bank because the company attempted to take money from my account without my consent. This behavior is completely unacceptable, and I will be reporting them to the ombudsman. Avoid this company if you value honesty and professionalism. - LBR7246473

The engineer came after 3 weeks waiting. He then said my fridge freezer needed a new mother board which l agreed to pay for. They promised me an appointment to fit mother board but messaged later to say the fridge freezer was beyond economic repair, I should chuck it and they offered me a £40 discount to purchase one of their appliances. I declined. I got the manufacturer out and they got the fridge freezer up and running in less than an hour. No spare parts needed. Go Assist did not return my payment for the ‘not needed parts’ until l sent multiple emails. Please stay awaaay from Go Assist.
