I can't even imagine it!. Go Assist is now demanding I pay extra £50 on top of £108.99 already mis-sold to me without any benefit at all. They are cunning but aggressive and very bullish and very insensitive to customers plight!.

Stay well clear fraudulant . Unhelpful charged me 240 pounds to not fix my lg freezer when all it needed was a 12 pounds defrost sensor .they said it was uneconomical to repair absolute joke of a company stay well clear

Despite the initial promising call to arrange a repair for my washing machine, I had a timeslot of 8-1 for an engineer to come out, however the website said the engineer would contact me prior to his arrival. He didn't contact me and the link to contact him didn't work until 9am due to GoAssist not opening until 9. He had showed up at 08:45 as shown on my doorbell cam, and I had no way of getting in touch until after 9, by then it was too late, I get no refund and charged a 2nd time if I want an engineer to try again. I will certainly be warning others on the online communities about this unless I get it resolved.

Really awful service. Very expensive, try to upsell you to a subscription model upfront. Not clear about the terms and conditions, principal among which is that you can pay vast sums to have somebody turn up and simply say it is unfixable with no labour included. I didn't need to pay £139 for someone to simply tell me what the problem was.

A lot of effort made by Go Assist and Big Warranties to pull you into their service and then the interest stopped. Paid £139 and the Engineer came out within a few days and very quickly diagnosed the problem with our fridge freezer. Said he would arrange for the part to be ordered. THREE WEEKS LATER, the engineer came back and replaced the part. There are 3 parts to this service - Big Warranty, Go Assist and Go Repair. You are sent automated emails and texts that don't make any sense, when you call you are given conflicting information, misinformation (lies) and fobbed off. If you request to speak with a supervisor, they don't call you back. Although perfectly nice people, they don't take a handle of the problem and deal with it. I lost count of the number of times I was told "the part is on its way" when clearly it wasn't or the wrong part arrived and they had to order it again. The quote for the part was well over the going rate and that was just a google search.... I do not recommend this company at all - try to find a local engineer and you will get a much cheaper, quicker and professional service. I'm not bothering to make a complaint to the company as I know I will just receive an empty sorry and I'm quite sure the service will not improve.

As the other reviews say- my mother took out a £9.99 insurance policy with this company. Got charged £90 for a call out where the guy did nothing and washing machine seized after he’d gone. They charged me £50 to cancel the policy. Avoid this lot .

Joined the membership and had to pay upfront before the engineer had come to assess the repair. He looked at the machine and said it needed a new drum. This took him 30 sec. The repair was going to cost an additional £450 which was not going to be cost effective. Next day I tried to cancel the membership but was told I had to pay £50 cancellation fee. I have spent hours on the phone with some very obnoxious men but to no avail . They won't budge . AVOID AVOID AVOID this firm they are a call centre and their prices are highly inflated and don't join the membership because if you do there is no chance of cancelling without a fee even if it is the day after you joined. I paid £112 for a 30 sec call out . BEWARE. AVOID . WORST FIRM I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH .

Be very, very careful agreeing to any repairs with this company. My heavily pregnant partner phoned up to request a dishwasher repair. Company took all the details whilst dumping 15 minutes worth of T&Cs onto my partner over the phone, before taking payment for £99 and a £10 p/m insurance policy. Company sent round a handyman to have a look at the dishwasher who was in the house for approximately 2 minutes, already knew the fault, and left without inspecting the dishwasher. Partner was then quoted £200 for repairs and was told that the initial payment for "labour and call out" could not be refunded as the handyman had attended the property (what for?). When my partner called to question the price of replacement parts, refund policy (some of which were never sent in writing), and the insurance policy for a non-inspected machine, the company washed their hands of the matter and kept £150 - in exchange for a fleeting visit of 2 minutes by a person who already knew the fault. No idea what the company believe they did to justify the money they've taken, absolutely appalling customer service both when selling the policy and dealing with the complaint, and absurdly high charges for parts that can be found cheaper if you purchase them yourself.

Absolutely dreadful phoned to fix my dishwasher think I paid 119 call out charge and then I am paying 9 pounds a month couldn't fix my dishwasher didn't have the parts so ordered a new one this was over a month ago meant be getting a day later now they keep saying it'd not in stock I have paid well over 500 pounds and still no dishwasher

I called to get my motorhome fridge fixed engineer came a day late looked at it never touched it said we can't touch it have had numerous calls to them just keep hanging up and saying I can't get my £108.50 refunded which is a joke saying that was the call out charge so now small claims court it is have now found out they take an on going membership charge of £9.99 a month absolutely mind boggling

Beware! Looks like this company ‘auto renews’ their so called membership without any warning! No emails received to explain this would happen, no warning close to the date the payment was taken. Even when we did use the site, before knowing all this, we had trouble getting someone out to do the repair. Avoid!

Caused my husband nothing but stress. Appalling service from start to finish. First engineer turned up and drove off as he'd been given the wrong address. Watch out for the membership fee.

Probably the worst service company I have ever dealt with. I asked for a repair to my fridge and as of today it is almost 6 weeks and I am still waiting for the repair. I have called them on my mobile at least 15 times and whilst the young call centre operators are apologetic it does not help. The engineer was supposed to complete the repair yesterday but the part which was supposed to be delivered to me by dpd did not arrive. when I tracked it today there was a message for me to collect it from a local shop, I went out to get it at 7pm only to find that the store owner was puzzled because he had received notice that he had received the part but in fact he had not. I am disgusted by the treatment I have received from this company.

I called Go-assist to fix my fridge freezer. They took £256 from me and set up a warranty for a further £131 but never fixed the fridge or freezer. They did not respond to the complaint either. So, I got a local engineer to fix it instead and pursuing the case through court to get a refund.

I have had an awful experience: they turned up on the wrong day - causing me to visit a tenanted flat unnanounced, they "con" you with a rather duplicitous web site into buying a " repair" but it it only a visit, they then come up with a huge cost for parts, they also make you buy an insurance policy in addition, for a year! It has cost me more to repair than to replace it - I would NEVER book this company again!

When the engineer came out he said he couldn't replace the door seal on my fridge door as I would have to have a whole new door. I've be e mailing the company to cancel my membership but haven't had any luck with it yet. I wish I had read the reviews before I committed to anything.
