Dreadful company. Booked engineer to replace oven light on our Belling Kensington Range Cooker. He arrived late and without the light bulb, then blamed the booking team at Go Assist Ltd. We found a light bulb. Couple of months later the bulb has failed and we have discovered that the engineer has ramed the glass cover on. The work is out of its three months' guarantee period. Expensive and incompetent company, don't use. We now have a Belling engineer booked to sort this out.

Very disappointed would never use this. Booked an appointment for my fridge freezer (which is only 3 years only) appointment was booked 1 month ago engineer turned up to for repairs later than time slot only to say sorry i cant help. you need a specialist to sort this out. Which will cost me more Not sure if the money will be refunded. would not even give one star. Wish i had read the reviews before

Paid £150 for my fridge freezer to be repaired as it's began to not get as cold as before. Engineer was here for 5 mins and said it's unrepairable as it might be a gas leak then left. Rang go assist to see if I could get a refund or partial refund as he didn't actually do anything but no you still have to pay the full £150 for the "repair" even if they don't actually fix anything. Would never use this company again and would advice everyone else to avoid at all costs as it's just daylight robbery

Pathetic service, Hidden excessive charges, Endless delays for a simple problem, endless chasing up and no updates despite hollow promises, They hide behind the fine print of terms and conditions cleverly designed to protect themselves. No care for the customer whatsoever until the money is quickly taken, that is. Tried to get negative review removed and then claimed they are an honest company, the irony of it!! I feel cheated and conned. 'Go with this company at your own peril' should be their motto; 'Assist' seems to be an antonym...

Absolute conmen. Paid £111 upfront for a call-out and discounted parts price. Engineer turned up late, said there were faults with the oven and needed to go back to the office to look at spare parts. Now call is closed as saying oven beyond economic repair and company uncontactable. Avoid like the plague.

Getting in touch with you in the first place .You sent a so called technician out .He was there ten minutes tops .He concluded what I thought myself ,faulty element. Will source the part will be four or five days. Recieved a text next day cost of repair £120 . Recieved another text day after saying unrepairable . This was after you took £99 .99 for a care plan which we cancelled .We asked for our money back and you said it was to cover the call out fee for the technician . We are pensioner s in our 80S and that is how you treat us . You should be ashamed of yourselves .I will be highlighting your conduct every week on Face Book to let people know about your actions .

There really isn’t a rating low enough for this company. The call out charge is excessive, the engineer was patronising, and wouldn’t list to an explanation of what the problem was. A part, which may or not have been necessary, had to be ordered and paid for. Needless to say to say, it did not arrive on the date given, and the “repair” did not take place on the date given. When the engineer did eventually return and replaced the un/necessary part, he was in and out in no time. He switched the oven on, said “it’s working” and left. Needless to say, it was not working. A call to the company was a waste of time. Ripping off pensioners at Christmas is not something to be proud of. I would urge everyone to avoid this company.

Very poor service from start to finish. The engineer did not attend the first scheduled visit and made no attempt to contact me in advance. I had to chase him, only to be told he was “in the area” but couldn’t find my clearly marked address. I then spent almost 40 minutes on the phone to GoAssist, with no apology, and was told the job couldn’t be rebooked until the engineer updated his system. The appointment was eventually rescheduled nearly two weeks later. The same engineer attended the second visit, again without contacting me beforehand. The repair was carried out but has already failed, so the issue has returned. Would not use again and would not recommend.

Absolutely terrible, terms and conditions not clear, have had to pay for a whole year, just for someone to come out and condemn my dishwasher. They will not let me cancel. Be careful when signing up, make sure you know what the terms are.

Appalling service DO NOT USE!!! Seven weeks after I reported a problem with my oven it still hadn’t been fixed even though I’d paid £250 for parts and labour. When I rang to cancel they refused to give me a full refund and charged me £60. Call handlers are unhelpful. Purely a money making company.

They fixed my oven last year. Took more than a month to finally get it fixed. Roll on a year later they’ve taken £89.99 from my credit card. When I phone them, it’s because I had a years free membership with them, and now have to pay! Nothing was mentioned at the time about this free years membership. They said I would have got a email to tell me I now had to pay for this ‘membership’, no email sent to me! They have now cancelled the membership, and refunded me a pro rata amount of £52.49. So still £37 out of pocket. Disgraceful firm, keep well away from them.

They are very rude i have booked plumber from assist they charge me £169 but some reason i cancel my appointment and ask to refund me but ghey decline to refund me they are to rude behaviour. I have not going in future with him. I also ask you can charge some charges and half pay me back but they say no thanks

Signed up to Go Assist via the telephone. Little detail given no terms and conditions referred to. They use agents not employees to fix. The agents were good and unofficiallyquoted £220. Go Assistquoted £704 with no detail about parts or labour. I rechecked with the agents and after long talks with go Assist they said the parts were just in case and if not used then I would get a refund. I had had enough and cancelled my membership after 5 days, and was charged a further months subscription and £50 for the privilege. They have a small customer service team who seem geared up to avoid making any restitution and it seems impossible to go higher fora second look. Hugely frustrating, and in my view a company toavoid

Ooo where do I start...part 1 friendly customer service..took £139 upfront to detect and repair a leak. Part 2. Waited 2 days and they send a plumber around to fix my stopcock..( I asked for leak to be detected and repaired)..portsmouth water said nothing wrong with stopcock.stop cocktail.. Parr 3 phoned up go assist to tell them wrong bloke sent around please send around proper person to detect leak.( by the way they said it must have been my fault by telling them wrong info)..getting angry at this point..and they will send appropriate personal around to fix job which I asked for...since then I have had to phone up go assist 3 times just to be told they will get it arranged...now did they?...of course the answer is no...and I am still waiting..now I am going to ask for money back when they are open...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I was pleased with booking process but my oven now works and I have tried calling all morning - no answer - I want to cancel The appointment and get a refund . I was assured this would not be a problem . I emailed and my email has been blocked

An engineer came to repair our boiler. Reported that the parts were unavailable or it was 'uneconomical to repair'. This is despite the fact that the parts are available. The company claims to repair rather than replace in their adverts. The company is then difficult to contact and the chat agent cuts you off after a minute of trying to put you through to an agent. All this despite paying a membership fee. Will be going to a small claims court.

Contacted go assist to ask if they could provide a new oven door as mine was unfixable I was told by Alex they could provide me with the door I needed we discussed the colour make and model. I was then told an engineer would bring it out within 2 days. I went on to say I didn't need the engineer as it was very simple to put back on and I was happy for it to be posted out. But was quickly told it was protocol for go assist for the engineer to be present. 2 days later an confused engineer landed with no door. Then I received a message from go assist saying my oven door was unfixable.i called them and was told they was nothing they could or would do about

Terrible company. Paid £90 call out and was told an engineer would be out within 2 days to repair my fridge freezer. The engineer was suppose to come out on Monday. Messaged and said been a mix up would be out next day. One excuse after another. Was told would send another engineer. By Friday after being let down 4 times, i cancelled the engineer. I have been told i cannot have a refund. I am waiting to hear from Go assist, as i want my call out fee back.
