“Five stars for service, quality and flavour, well worth the money. I will most definitely order from you again. We haven't eaten everything yet but the chicken carcass was meaty and made delicious stock, the pork cheek was an adventure that proved utterly delicious, while the diced mutton was simply delicious. Richly flavoured without shouting SHEEEEP with every mouthful. We moved back to Britain from Canada in part to enjoy meat of this quality.”

“I've tried few online shopping butchers and I think Swaledale is the best. Just recently came back to do my shopping with them and thought I won't even bother trying anywhere else. My fav is grass fed liver, it's so delicious and beef mince and pigs in blankets what I aways put in my basket. Orders aways arrive well packed and with ice packs only half way melted to keep the meat fresh. Thank you Swaledale.”

“I was impressed with the look of the meat which was delivered recently and it arrived in very good condition (ie still nice and cool). I have not tried it all yet but the venison meat has made a very nice smelling casserole which is now in the freezer for Christmas !”

“Another box full of deliciousness. Pork belly cooked over confit potatoes with fennel and sage. My mother-in-law suggested we dump the goose and repeat for Christmas day! Rump steak with Roquefort butter was fabulous.”

“Another excellent delivery of meat. The packages of meat were well packaged and insulated with frozen packs of water that kept the meat very cold. The packages of meat were clearly labelled and all looked lovely, with the right amount of visible fat. My only gripe being was the delivery driver from DPD left the marked fresh meat package on my front porch which is visible from the main road and I only just heard his knock despite having a visible ring doorbell. He was driving off by the time I got to the door. This is a gross failure on the driver and unfortunately not the first time he has done something as stupid as this”

“Whole rump of beef for a Hawksmore recipe of "ultra slow rump of beef". Have to say it was fabulous - so tasty! Would recommend for excellent quality of product, packaging and delivery.”

“My go-to butcher of choice. Love all the different cuts of meat and the quality of the products. your order is well packed in an insulated box with icepacks, promptly. I always choose a day which suits me for the delivery. Have even given their name to a friend who lives in Yorkshire.”
