“Everything is as promised, which is as rare as I like my steak. Luckily for us both I very much like your steak too and it is delicious cooked rare. So I think we can both be happy and that is all too rare.”

“Although it is more expensive, we were so impressed with the quality. I can also sleep better when I know that the animals have a good life and are raised and treated humanely. I don’t want to become vegetarian, but I am more and more concerned with the ethical aspect of farming (animal welfare, our health, environmental impact) so this fits the bill as far as I am concerned.”

“Sadly, most of the meat was squashed and it wasn't squashed by delivery as the delivery box was fine - it seemed to have been squashed prior to packing.”

“All the meat I ordered was excellent, some of the best pork and beef I've ever tasted. The crackling was perfect when cooked. The saussages were perfectly seasoned, good coarse Cumberland. The gammon was fantastic, grained like Kobe beef, beautifully tasty and soft. Everything arrived promptly, and in prime condition.”

“I have placed 2 orders from Swaledale butchers up to now and have to say how good the quality of their meat is. At last, I've found proper smoked bacon and it's delicious! All the sausages, diced beef etc has been excellent and I will continue to order. The products are delivered on time and carefully packaged.”
