“We enjoyed all of the meat other than the bacon. The bacon was alright but it had water in it and was a bit chewy ( as my husband said). It was no better than the m & S bacon I get which is the select farms British Wiltshire type. The topside was very good.”

“Great tasting meat but some niggles need to be sorted. The rolled joints came apart during cooking which I have never come across before, the string was not broken but just seemed very slack.”

“The product is always excellent and the ordering process easy. DPD didn’t deliver on time as they initially sent the parcel to the wrong depot, but I was able to contact them easily and arrange a time for the following day which fitted my schedule so ok in the end. Communication was good.”

“Second time for online order , the big win is the clumberlwne ring , enough to feed 3 Adults. Customer service is fanatastic, with good response times would we order again, in the blink of an eye . Quality company and produce ,,,, difficult to find in these times well done”

“Lamb is expensive but good quality and well packed for delivery. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the courier delivered and left my parcel at the front door, at the wrong address, which I fortunately managed to track down.”

“Well packaged and presented meat. Very good quality. My only issue was that my order was due for delivery on a Friday, but I had a text message-that informed me that due to my postcode I would not be able to have my delivery until the following Wednesday. I planned and invited people for a meal on Saturday and had no meat! Also I had no say as to an alternative date, and the meat arrived when I had gone out to work and was waiting another period of time before it could be refrigerated. A telephone call would have been far better and more personal, offering me a date convenient to me. I hope the team will look at postcodes of those that live in more rural locations and spot this mistake for suture customers.”

“The delivery is first class also the packaging, I bought 4 packs of mince and used 2 although the flavour is good it was quite fatty I don't know what the chat content is meant to be but I had to drain alot out”

“The rolled leg of lamb was beautiful , Infact all the meat we have had from Swaledale has been excellent. The only down side was the courier delivered the parcel a day late due to an issue at their depot.”

“Great quality produce as always! I guess the only downside for us personally is how much packaging our order used. We try to reuse the silicone ice packs that come in the box, but we're always struck by how much single use plastic is used to pack the actual meat. Apart from that though, top rank 👌”

Just to make you aware, we're transitioning to a fully recyclable range of vacuum bags - whilst our previous bags were recyclable at some supermarkets, the new range will be recyclable in household recycling.
