“I have used LWC for many years and have always been satisfied with the logs I ordered. They burn beautifully and last a long time, leaving a fine ash T the end. Delivery has always been very accommodating and helpful. It's lovely to be greeted with a smile 😃.”

“I ordered my second load of logs from the company, having been delighted with my first delivery of Kiln Dried Birch Logs. I was surprised to see that the price had almost doubled since Feb 22 & believed from the web site that delivery was included in the price - NO. I was faced with an additional delivery charge of £19.95 which I felt should have been made clear on the web site. I challenged this additional charge & was given a credit which was refunded to my credit card fairly promptly. The delivery driver was extremely helpful in dropping off the large pallet but i had asked that I was notified 2 days before delivery to ensure I was home to accept the load. The product is however first class - it would be lovely if there was some keener pricing before my next order. Overall an excellent organisation who listens to my complaint, responds in my favour & delivers first class fuel for my log burner.”

“I have ordered Kiln Dried wood from Luxury Wood Company for a number of years now and always had great product and delivery. However, on the last delivery my giant crate which is supposed to be supplied stacked in a giant crate, was delivered split into 2 with no plastic covering on part of it and insufficient on the other part (on a day when it was pouring with rain). Therefore only part of the delivery (the part in the crate) which cost almost £500, was able to fit in my log store and the rest was on my drive. I complained but was just told the delivery company sent it in a smaller van without consulting me first; had they done so I would not have accepted delivery in the state it was sent. It was all very disappointing and despite numerous emails I was not offered any compensation and feel very let down.”

“The wood is great as expected. Unfortunately, the delivery was problematic, the driver was on his own and unable to manage the load onto the footpath, never mind up the driveway. He had to call upon a colleague to come and help him out which meant vehicles going past had to mount the opposite curb. This all took an additional fourty five unnecessary minutes. We had expected a hiab vehicle which would have been straightforward.”

“Feb 2022 I paid £259 for a full crate of silver birch it was a nice height. Dec 2022 l paid £380 for a full crate of silver birch this was a lot smaller in height. I don't know if I can afford another crate later this year The logs are that dry most of the bark as come off. I have a large wheelie bin plus a builders bag full of it. It is not wasted it makes good kindling”

“First time used luxury wood disappointed with the logs a lot of very small pieces of wood only good to get the wood burner started. Delivery time was longer than I expected but when I emailed them they did get back to me quickly.The delivery company very good Would I use luxury wood company again? Only if my regular supplier was nil stock”

“From ordering to delivery a very satisfactory transaction with delivery as stated and product appears to be good standard. Thank you. Will keep you in mind for future if biomass isn't priced out of the market. There were about 4 bags out of the two pallets that were damaged, so whilst inconvenient not a major problem, hence the reference below to damage.”
