“We haven't used our logs yet, they're in storage ready for the winter months. However thus far, we can't fault the service Luxury Wood has given us. Delivery was prompt, we were told when to expect it. We had kiln dried oak and feel it was value for money.”

“Was surprised that the wood arrived in 18 ton lorry , quite difficult to unload we live on a busy road and on a hill . The driver managed very well but as the wood is put on with lifting trucks and all he has is a small trolley and us to help make sure it doesn't ove r balances . Maybe for us next time. We should have the same amount on the pallet in sacks .”

“Ordered Pergola - solidly made produtct and instructions were straightforward - took 2 of us about an hour all in to build it. Delivery came a day earlier than advised although luckily i was in. The screws were meant to be 85mm and 75 mm although they were 75mm and 65mm but they were still long enough. Overall please with the purchase and the pergola looks nice once built”

“I have yet to burn any of these logs, so cannot comment on their burning efficiency. My order was placed on Sunday, 12 August, delivery came on 23 August. A minor number of logs were rotten and as light as paper, some showed signs of woodworm and I assume thus occurred before the kiln drying. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase as the vast majority of logs look good and the price was the best I found for this quantity of kiln dried logs.”

“My only complaint is sending out a delivery driver with only a manual fork lift. There is a slight incline on my driveway so it took both of us to get it up. The previous delivery was equipped with an electric truck.”

“Oak came eventually 11 days delivery in a wonky crate which just about came off the truck. The oak is great The final plus was that after some work the crate was dismantled and after chain sawing the mass of wood made kindling for the year A real bonus amid lots of nails. Well done after delayed delivery”

“Excellent service that being said the delivery driver turned up with no prior warning (invoice clearly stated ring day before) not LWC fault. Wood is good quality in the main but a lot off small infill pieces on both pallets.”

“Ordered a pallet of 16 sleepers, largely chosen for price and convenience as delivery was included. Very happy overall delivery was within the 6 days quoted and the freight company was easy to deal with to arrange a suitable date. A couple of the sleepers had what I would consider to be excessive chunks missing from them but overall they were largely what I expected, big, chunky, weighty blocks of wood out of which I've crafted a lovely retaining wall. My only other small criticism would be that after my order confirmation I received no communication whatsoever about despatch or delivery from the company, the first I knew my delivery was ready was when the freight company called me. The online order tracking never progressed from order being prepared and then just mysteriously stopped showing any status at all. I would use this company again but it would be good if they sorted their order tracking out.”

“The order process is fine. However delivery might be possible to improve. Again, the truck used was too big to turn round in my drive, it had to block the road to unload the crate, the crate seems unstable on the truck whilst the driver tried to manoeuvre it on to the tail lift and he thought so as well considering the amount of grumbling ! The crate was unloaded successfully but in the middle of my gateway. We had to empty the crate immediately to keep access to our house. All that is needed is a small truck with a tail lift. It has been done in the past.”

“The wood is dry and well packed. However the create contains a very high percentage (+- 25%) of small pieces that will burn in minutes - these bits are only useful to light the fire. The delivery was very good and the delivery chap very helpful to position the create where I wanted it.”

“Delivery is excellent, the company they use is very thoughtful. The wood comes secured on pallets and is the moisture content requested. We asked for a bag of bark for the flower borders, this came in a grab bag as requested, the coffeee cups etc which had been thrown into the bag were not requested.”

“Overall fairly good. Updates with respect to the delivery (to the far northwest highlands) could have been better - there had been no call and pallet was left on our driveway when we were out. There was more variation with the size of the logs than I remember with my last delivery from Luxury Wood. Will use again”
