“Why has the price of pellets more than doubled since last winter? When we fitted this boiler I was told wood pellet prices would be stable as it is a naturally grown sustainable fuel, what has changed?”

“Despite the cost of the product doubling in price, the communication from the Luxury Wood Company was poor, with no updates on delivery information, until over 10 days after the order, and only then when I called in for an update. At this point I was told that the delivery would be the following day, leaving little time to plan for the delivery. An hour later the delivery process redeemed itself with a representative from the haulier calling saying that they now had the pallet and when would be convenient to deliver it. Their communication, their service, and driver couldn't have been better or more helpful. Simply put, the poor communication from the Luxury Wood Company really let them down. 4 damaged bags, loosing about 15 kg of pellets in total, but that is to be expected.”

“Very helpful, problem with delivery through 3rd party so arrived a couple of days later than expected. But in that delay I was able to add a couple more bits on to the delivery, so worked out well for me”

“The company is always my first port of call when buying wood products as they are always competitive in price and you get what you order. That said there was very little choice to pick from. Even if their prices for fire woods has rocketed I would recommend this company. My only degrade is after order the delivery date and time is not advised to the customer and my delivery came three days earlier than expected and it was just lucky I was in and able to receive the order. That said the delivery driver was excellent and placed the order exactly where I asked for it to be placed and the whole experience was a good one..”

“The product is really good. However the 100% increase in the price from last year at this time (£260 last year to £520 this year) smacks of profiteering on the hysteria re. energy prices. When asked for an explanation as to the mark up the reason cited was an increase in delivery costs- £260 extra? Not acceptable.”
