“After previous deliveries ( one of which didn’t come up to usual standard of which luxury wood company kindly compensated me for with a kind gesture) have received latest oak nets which seem up to your usual standards. After previous oak nets tried ash but was slightly disappointed as lots of small logs in the mix. Still, mustn’t grumble and will be back with future orders. Keep up your quality and customer service. A satisfied customer.”

“2nd year of ordering kiln dried wood. Prices have hiked up over 30% in the year but I have no issues with the wood itself which is dry and great to burn. If prices continue to increase at this rate, I'm afraid it's not looking good for my neighbours fences and shed 🤣”

“I live in East Devon - about as remote from Nottingham as can be imagined - so why did I buy my logs from a company more than 250miles away? Well, my local logs suppliers had kept me going for a number of years but, in truth, there’d be occasions when the ‘seasoned’ logs were a bit ‘green’, or they’d need further cutting and splitting. And always, you’d have to take the mix as it came: a bit of this, a bit of that. Earlier this year, chatting to someone down the road, she mentioned how impressed she was with logs she bought from Luxury Wood Company. Recommended them. So when it came to restock the wood shed for this coming winter, I thought I’d give them a go. To be able to specify loads of Oak, or Ash, or Birch in quantity seemed pretty novel in my experience. Having selected and paid for a large crate (2cu.m) of Ash, I sat back and waited. After about five days, I was contacted by a local delivery company to say they had a pallet of logs for me - and we agreed a day and time for them to be dropped off. They turned up as promised: a crate of neatly packed logs, all of handy size requiring no more splitting or cutting. The crate was shrink-wrapped in poly to keep them from the elements, just in case. It took an hour or two to move them from the crate to the log store. Then I broke down both the crate and the pallet to use as kindling - nothing was wasted. And the logs themselves? Well, sure enough, 99.9% were Ash, with just a few bits of oak thrown in. Importantly, they’d been kiln dried and a spot check meter reading on logs selected from various parts of the crate showed the moisture content in the range 3 to 10 per cent. That’s superb. I know where my dogs will be this winter: in front of the log-burner. I hope I get a look-in.”

“Good wood always. Cut to manageable sizes mostly.. Had no delivery information until 2 hours before they arrived which gave me quite a problem. There pre delivery info sent said I would be informed 2 days before but nothing was heard until the notice that they were on there way.”

“We have had six deliveries from you previously which have been delivered to the rear of our property by a very helpful driver using an electrically powered pallet truck. However this delivery was made by a driver without an electrically assisted truck, which was too heavy for her, and my wife and I felt obliged to assist. This is something I don't wish to do in the future.”

“They are a trustworthy professional company. I ordered some materials from them which turned out to be wrong size. However the company collected the materials and tried to supply me the correct size and standard materials which weren’t available then they happily refunded me in full. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.”
