Arrived at Faro airport and no trace of the driver. On the third occasion I passed the area I found him. He made no attempt to assist with luggage. Car had a stain in the seat and driver never spoke once during the journey. He then demanded payment in cash as he said he had no machine for a card transaction. Very poor service. I contacted the company at the time to complain and they weren't the least interested. They said all their vehicles were being used so used another company for our journey. Not good enough.

Ordered a premium minivan that seats 6 people and 6 bags for two of us. On arrival at faro, waited 8-10 minutes and then a normal taxi picks us up. Whilst this was adequate and driver was courteous, its not what I ordered or paid for. I paid for a premium vehicle and not a standard taxi. Clearly the organiser saw there were only two of us so decided we didn't need what we had paid for and a normal car was adequate. Difficult to contact and waiting to see if get reimbursed, not optimistic. Uber would have been much quicker and cheaper.

Not the best experience unfortunately.Whenever I have used similar companies in the past, we have been met by a driver as soon as we arrive- holding up a placard with our name on- and then it is straight to their waiting car and off we go. On this occasion at Paphos airport- we had to queue up for approximately 10 minutes at a desk outside of the terminal. We were then told the driver will be with us in about 13 minutes. It was actually over 20 minutes before he arrived. Not really what you want when you have been travelling all day, including the inevitable flight delays. For the pick up to the airport- the driver was 6 minutes late and I had just started to ring the operator when the driver arrived. Instead of driving up to the hotel entrance- he parked at the end of the drive- so we had to wheel our luggage to the car. The price was competitive but really let down by the overall service delivery.

It is a scam , do not use it for Barcelona , pls dirty cars and car size is not guaranteed

Outward Trip Barcelona to Cruise Port May 2022. Vehicle was very late, no contact. Tried to ring emergency number supplied which was a recorded message in Spanish even though I had rang the UK number. Vehicle eventually arrived just as we were getting into a local taxi. Inward trip from Cruise Port to Barcelona Airport vehicle did not turn up after 30 minutes. Rang emergency number, operator said she would check and ring me back. She did and told me the driver was at the port gates and would be there in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later she rang to confirm we had been picked up but we hadn't. A few minutes later she rang me to say they could not lift us and to find our own way to airport and claim a refund. I was sent a link to make a report. On return home i completed the report including our taxi receipt but after 30 days I had heard nothing so wrote to them again and they replied to say refund of taxi fare had been credited to my credit card and it appeared a few days later. Although I got my refund I cannot recommend Sun Transfers.

Have used the service 3 times in the last 6 weeks - twice it went very well, the most recent time my airport collection went very wrong. Rather than a driver waiting for me with a name card, I apparently had to approach the providers desk where my driver would be waiting. My flight was 25mins early so I hung around at arrivals waiting for my driver. After my pick up time had come and gone, I called sun-transfers who told me to go to the desk. I did that, queued at desk, when I got to the front, no driver! When a driver did finally arrive he had no idea about my booking or where I was going. Apparently he hadn’t been sent my booking details. As a result of all the delays I missed a medical appointment. On the way back they sent a bright green, 37 seater coach for just me. That wasn’t an issue, I got where I needed to go, it just seemed extremely wasteful. I contacted sun-transfers to talk to them about missing my appointment and they were not interested in the slightest, despite telling me how important customer care was. They felt the delay in my pick up was “factors beyond their control”, despite the issue being that the driver hadn’t been given the pick-up details and when I questioned the inaccuracies in their understanding of the circumstances surrounding my pick-up they told me that their lack of action in my case was both appropriate and fair.

Had a great experience with this company over in Portugal so decided to use the service again on the trip to Spain. Booked a transfer from Malaga Airport to Mijas which was little delayed as local office thought the flight I was on was next day. Decided to book a transfer from the apt to Malaga Airport only to find out that the price is actually €100 (yes, shocking) more as the apartment shows in district of Calahonda even if it's just few mins from Mijas Costa centre. I booked the transfer 2 days before my flight and cancelled it about an hour later but because I cancelled in the afternoon and my transfer supposed to be in the morning, which meant the cancellation was less than 48hrs so got no refund of the original price.

Unfortunately, the company has no way to deal with cases where changes to reservation are required (for example due to COVID testing results). We needed to change our pick up date to airport after COVID positive results but no drivers were available at the requested time. So then when we tried to cancel our reservation, they said it was less than 48 hours so cancellation was not allowed. This despite the fact that we had bought the extra insurance. Communicated with the customer service several times for them to explain the situation and reason but they were very rigid. Disappointed in the overall interaction with SunTransfer. It's too bad because our up from airport was good.

Before you decide to use this service, you need to consider how much your time is worth. My pick up at the airport was not bad as the there was only a 20-25 minute wait before my driver arrived. There was someone to greet me and let me know that I would need to wait, which I thought was very good. However, the pick-up from my hotel was far too early and I arrived at the airport 4.5hrs before my flight. This was a short haul flight from Larnaca to Heathrow so I needed to be there two hours at most. In hindsight, I would rather have paid the extra and had the extra 2.5 hours by the pool at my hotel than to have wasted all that time in the airport.

Return journey from Krakow - fine no problems - the great service I expect. Journey from Krakow airport to Krakow - nightmare - scammed. Some con going on - our details passed by our supposed driver to someone else - as were those of 4 other travellers from Cardiff. Outcome was rather than 2 private taxis we were directed by the con artist to an unmarked minibus. Took us to Krakow and then said we owed them a lot of cash. They got nothing from any of us. If you encounter the same ignore any calls from your supposed driver (ours was Dominic - unfortunately for him he left a picture on Whatsapp - I am 99% sure he was driving the fraudsters minibus) - instead immediately call Suntransfers Polish office (I tried but couldn't get through) - let them fix their problem out. Do not get into any unmarked minibus - I have used Suntransfers many times - apart from this escapade and one other I have been perfectly happy. However this has been their last chance - what I want is stress free travel - this was stress filled travel - if it happens again that will be the last time I use them.

Waited an hour for our transfer in Sitges to the airport. We had to wait on the pavement with medical equipment hence why we booked them. No apology from the driver who was also clearly stressed. I believe we had been forgotten.

Your driver was late with no apology! Acted as if I had made him late! Customer service sucks! Called three times to find out where was the driver and each time customer service disconnected the line. Kept telling me that the driver was there when he clearly was not! So tell me how you're going to improve? I see no response to complaints.

On our Departure day the driver did not turn up at all!!! After waiting over 10 minutes for the Suntranfers taxi we decided to book an alternative taxi to the airport . I contacted Suntransfers (as stated on their guidelines )but after ringing them they failed to ring me back within 10 minutes so we had no idea what was going on, they eventually did phone to say that I should order another taxi as their driver would not be turning up & that I should apply for a refund, at this stage we were already on our way the airport. This is not acceptable at all , I have received a part refund but this did not cover the cost of the alternative taxi.

We would not book again with sun transfers. The organisation in the airport was chaotic! Our plane was delayed and we were told we should have arrived on time! I booked with your company as I read that transfers were still honoured even if planes were delayed. We waited 1hour in the airport for our transport. When we finally met our driver he was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us! Even helping us with our cases and walking into the hotel with us. He made up for all the chaos occurring in the airport. Ros Banyard

Booking reference KB6084 We were trying to reach as of yesterday but w couldnt have any number today w got ur united kingdom number to cancel our reservation . Today w reached u and u replied that no refund will be made. This is unfair especially that the amount is somehow big and we waisted it without using it.

The airport is good but if the weather is bad they gon let you wait in the airplane for more than one hour because evidently they are not able to drive a bus with rain, but the pilot can fly through a storm. Zio rakus e no non siamo parenti

We have used Suntransfers in Cyprus and the service was excellent with a top “premium” transfer so we booked them for our transfers from Faro to Vilamoura again in a Premium vehicle. The driver was very grumpy and did not give much communication, probably due to the poor state of the vehicle. Major damage down one side and what can only be described as a clapped out builders van. Dirty inside and no air conditioning or privacy glass, a really poor vehicle I have to say. We are being collected on Sunday morning so we’ll see you if the vehicle is of better quality!

The transfer driver was not at the airport on arrival. Other sun transfer drivers said they were not ours and abandoned us. Had to call UK to get help (which they did) but unacceptable customer service.

Trying to amend pick up time was extremely difficult while away. We could not speak to any customer service agent despite us making several attempts.

Our driver was lovely and although we did have air conditioning on the way to our destination we did not have it on the way back to the airport. This was extremely disappointing and also upsetting as some of our kids felt very ill. This was not a cheap or budget service so we would expect airconditioning in all buses.
