“I have been going to this branch for many years and on each occasion i have been met with a very high standard of service the staff are very friendly and know the products well, I am very happy with the staff and would have no problem recommending this branch to all my friends.”

“I broke my glasses during lockdown so was delighted to be able to go back to Scrivens to replace them. As always the staff were friendly, professional and let me try on as many frames as I wished before I found the one I wanted. (I've even been back for my 1/2 price second pair!)”

“have just purchased new glasses and within 3 hours one lense fell out . During the night 10 hours later woke up and felt for them and both lenses fell out. Fortunately had my old set with me. On close inspection the screws were fully tightened so how can this happen, can only assume lenses machined too small for the frame. How could they be pushed back in very easily if frame is tight.How can this leave your workshop like this were is your QA, This not the first time that your work shop service has been at fault with my glasses over the years. Although we are living in difficult times I feel your company’s service to people who rely heavily on their eyes as been dreadfully. Opening hour and service could have been better managed.”

“Having spent close to £1000 in past two years I am hoping that the glasses I collected yesterday are more satisfactory, I am going back on Thursday to have any adjustments. none of your opticians could find any thing radically wrong with my sight' nor could New cross eye department A&E, all they can see are dry eyes and cataracts in their early stages.”

“I recently had my eyes tested at Scrivens. The optician was very good and put me at my ease. Everything was Covid compliant and I felt very safe. I decided to purchase new spectacles and was told to put all the ones I tried on in a basket so they could be cleaned before being put out on display again. Overall it was a very professional service and I would be happy to recommend Scrivens to anyone.”

“The staff go out of their way to make every improvement with in my case, my glasses. Their professionalism and attention to detail is amazing. You are a person, a customer and nothing is more important to them. Every member of staff is polite and puts you at ease immediately you walk through the door. I am 74 and have worn glasses nearly all my life and I would not go anywhere else when I need new ones. I feel like part of a big family, in the perhaps old fashioned curtesy, but it goes a long way and it works.”
