Awful customer service . Just rang the Sheldon B26 store about my Dads hearing aids which were faulty after just a few months and have had to be sent away. They cost over £3000. He had to wait a week for the hearing specialist for an appointment and now another week for the repair and we’ve heard nothing so I rang to explain Dads been without his hearing aids for two weeks. It was Iike talking to a brick wall. ‘If we haven’t contacted you they aren’t back’. Well how unhelpful is that. We’d assumed that already , no offer to help further and was sarcastic when I mentioned that.

Hi, you sent me a letter to ask me to fill in a form, which you said was to help you to improve your service. The letter supplied a unique ID number, in my case 334907. I logged onto your web site and filled in the box with my unique number 334907 and also filled in my date of birth 21/03/1946. Your web site informed me that I had got one of the details wrong! I checked your letter again and the ID number was definitely 334907. So I re-entered the required details again and once again was told that I had got one of the numbers wrong. I have to say that I was pretty certain that I had got my birthdate correct, so decided to try to contact you... But sadly real life took over and the one deaf aid that I had left, after having to send the other one back due to it stopping working, dropped down my list of priorities. How many stars would you recommend I give ( If I could get onto the form )? Kind Regards Mike Ayres Born 21st March 1946

I had an appointment with Francesca Lau at Mildenhall branch for a wax removal in August 2025 . She was very kind and professional and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone .

After having an eye examination the optician said that there was a dramatically difference in the new eye exam . Feeling very unsettled I went for a second opinion plus extra exam of the optic nerve this test was negative plus no change on my prescription . On phoning the branch at Ashby I asked for an email! Nothing . To ask who I speak to . Very upsetting experience. I shall contact the opticians on Tuesday 2nd September. I've had a 2nd opinion.

Having just been for my annual eye test at Scrivens new premises in Ripley I am pleased to say that I found the experience very enjoyable. I was looked after by Lizzie who was very amicable and nice to talk to. She was very helpful in helping me choose my new glasses

Fitted my mother in law with unsuitable hearing aids. Ones that cause her pain & extreme discomfort. She’s been back twice but they refuse to change them & now they will not discharge her so she can go elsewhere either. Now my mother in law has got to go 3 years without wearing hearing aids. Absolutely disgusting.

I had a letter on 20June advising me to book an appointment for a review eye test. I repeatedly phoned the number given on the letter and got an engaged signal. I then went to the address yesterday - and found the premises boarded up and shut off. Does the company not know anything about its branches?

This letter was sent in error, it should have come from our Weymouth branch, which will be your nearest branch while we are still working on getting the Dorchester branch reopened following the fire that occurred at the end of last year. Appointment for eye test and contact lens checked book in for 11am - this was booked a month in advance. At 11.30am still not been called into the optician - on asking a member of the team how long was it going to be they replied "at least another 5-10 mins". Not one member of staff spoke to me whilst I was waiting, nor apologised for the delay or even informed there would be a delay. Why was another appointment booked in at the same time ? Very poor customer service - have been a regular customer for many years.

Ref 75/00334902 10.30am Very dissatisfied with service I received from your sutton in ashfield branch,as requested I arrived 15 minutes earlier than appointment to be told that my appointment was given to another lady and I would have to wait for approximately 3/4 of a hour as I had booked my taxi to pick-up at 11.30 to reach a doctors appointment at 12 noon so I could not wait,so no eye test and £17.00 out of pocket,this is not acceptable in my opinion look forward to your reply customer for over 30 years and this is how you treat them

As an NHS patient I find great difficulty in contacting the shop in Havant. Their phone rings continuously but though it is not “engaged”no one ever answers it. I think the whole issue needs investigation as they don’t seem too busy when you finally do get there. JB Unhappy customer.

Had my existing glasses changed and I couldn’t see as well. Had another eye test and the my agreed to change the lenses back to the original prescription. When I asked for a refund they were going to take the lenses out and give me my old frames back with no lenses, and felt this was acceptable, even though it appears I didn’t need new lenses and my glasses were fine to start with!! Terrible customer service

In store service good. After sale and repair awful .without hearing aid for two weeks all to be told sent back to manufacturer to be repaired. Would not recommend them as spent a lot of money buying them and entering in to maintenance contract. Don’t feel looked after at all.

10 days ago I ordered a new pair of verifocal glasses; Nikon lenses from the Banbury store (£500) The frames I choose in the store were damaged/had a piece missing. I pointed this out when placing my order and said to the member of staff I would need a new frame not the ones off the shelf as they were damaged. Today I went to collect my glasses only to find it was the damaged pair from the store. Perhaps they thought I wouldn’t notice! Obviously at no stage of producing these glasses has quality control been applied or even common sense! I now have to wait for 🤞new frames and for the store to fit the new Nikon lenses into them. Very poor customer service!

Two years on and we are struggling to get service from Huddersfield branch. It's 10 or 14 days for an appointment. We paid 3.5 k and are struggling to get assistance. We have seen many, audiologists, yet the latest excuse for a 10 day wait is the audiologist is on holiday. So are they all on holiday, is there no cover? I have tried to send an email to Ceo but he is not publishing his email address for customer use. We will complain again to head office, and hope they read this.

I purchased a hearing aid(£950) in your Ringwood, Hants, branch some 4 /5 weeks ago in the hope of improving my hearing ,to say I am disappointed is an understatement, I have now reverted to my NHS hearing aids, I intend to go into the branch to complain but do not expect much sucess. What a waste of money!!!
