“Just had my first appointment with Scrivens in Peacehaven. Barry and Miranda could not have been more helpful. They listened carefully to what I had to say and guided me through every aspect both with care, and attention to detail. The best service I have received for quite some time, and after wearing hearing aids for over twenty five years that is very high praise indeed. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟”

“Tried ringing a general 0800 number provided on the company’s web site. After several attempts and various recorded messages got through. Gave full details and location where hearing test was being requested only then to be told that they no longer provided a service from the location, this after a previous operative told me that they provided a service from said location. Suggested that it might be useful if they reviewed their web site to ensure its accuracy and ensure all staff were aware of any locations no longer offering a service. It would have saved me wasting my time and raising the hopes of my elderly mother. Another example of poor management.”

“Brilliant service I got from the branch, a very detailed and thorough eye examination where everything was explained in detail, which Iv never had by specsavers.. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Vanessa who was looking aftr me was very professional and helped me select a gorgus set of glasses which suited my face and looked stylish aswell..im very impressed with the overall service that I booked my Son in and he got some designer glasses, .prices and service were exceptional on both occasions.. highly recommended and giving them a go ..you wont be disappointed.”

“Before going to Scrivens, I was with Vision Express, there was nothing wrong with them but Scrivens was closer to my home, so I decided to leave them for Scrivens In 2018 i purchased a pair of glasses which costed me around £ 500.00/-, extremely expensive for the time of purchase Few years later I attended again for a check up and new pair of glasses were prescribed but I don’t see a difference between them and I still use both glasses About a month ago, I wet again for a check up and there was no issue with my eyesight however the person who conducted the check up was trying to convince me to buy further glasses even though I was not in need, she said ‘you can have a spare pair of glasses just in case’, I still don’t understand it Upon leaving the place, I spoke with the staff about the possibility of ordering a nose pad for my £ 500.00/- glasses, the person I spoke with showed no respect at all as whilst I was asking questions to her, she was eating (zero respect and very rude), I was told ‘no’ and I had no choice but to leave feeling let down and embarrassed I’m a professional person and being very busy with my job, I had no time to write this review or even complain which I did a day ago The customer service I was dealing with did nothing but defended the actions of their staff at the Chigwell branch I wonder, how can they sell £ 500.00/- glasses to any customer and then they are not able to assist any longer, this means a rip off as they got what they wanted I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received because I left Vision Express who are exceptionally good and reliable when dealing with customers, for them, wrong decision by me I hope this review wakes them up and makes them deal with the issues they may face in the future in a professional manner !”

“Having decided that I couldn't put off hearing aids any longer I put myself in the hands of the Whaley Bridge branch of Scrivens. Helen and Diane could not have been more helpful or more friendly and the whole process of testing and being fitted with an appropriate aids was made very easy indeed. Each step was explained clearly, as were the various options best for my specific situation and lifestyle. Big thanks to both.”

“I have been taking my autistic child to the Peacehaven branch for 10 years and we have always been treated with patience, kindness and understanding, as well as humour. My (now adult) child requires constant adjustments to their glasses, often entailing several visits and we're never made to feel like we're a nuisance, but are always greeted with warmth and kindness. Alex, Susan, Miranda and all the team really are fabulous. Thank you!”

“Honestly I can’t thank Helen enough for all her support and warm welcome based at chapel-en-le-Frith. Helen went above and beyond to deliver the best outcome for myself, I received my new glasses within 72 hours. ❤️ I can’t recommend Helen enough she’s a diamond and more. X”

“I recently had ear wax removed at new Milton and the service was.excellent - I needed more than one appointment as on ear was particularly tricky and wasn't charged until the job was completed. The man was lovely and very patient and definitely gave very good service and value for money. I would recommend him to other people. Thanks”

“Visited Scrivens Stamford for a Hearing Aid appointment. Graham was extremely helpful and was able to explain my needs perfectly and could not do more to help me regain at least some hearing in my left ear. 5 Star A Class service”
