Most of the staff ok apart from one who was very abrupt and clever attitude. I had to return my glasses twice. I left the there. I will going to another opticians..wont be this place again...😕

I have found that the tubes tend to flatten and I have problems hearing. I cannot adjust the volume on them

I was provided a hearing aid and advised to have some investigatory work by my GP as to why I had sudden hearing loss. The hearing aid provided was diffciult to deal with. I had the relevant investigatory work carried out. My GP referred me back to Scrivens to get the right hearding aid for my lifestyle. Apparently....Scrivens only provide one hearing aid on the NHS and I needed to get on with it! But yet their website has 6 different types and styles to suit your lifestyle. The lady was uneducated about the services, wouldnt make me an appointment and now I am left to find a hearing aid privately as she is adamant that Scriven (an NHS led Hearing specialist) cant provide! I have worn glasses for over 60 years and the eye test that was given was bizzarre. It seemed that the optician had read my notes and decided what my prescription should be. He refused to listen and would not accept my answers. I am so dissatisfied that I am going for another eye test elsewhere.

I had a NHS referral, the room where the hearing test was performed, Scrivens Bolton, was not in any way soundproofed, I complained that during the test for one ear I could not concentrate due to the banging about outside the room, I was not offered a retest of that ear. The audiologist was unfamiliar with T setting on the danalogic aids and initially said T was not available, but after 2 phone calls said it was. I however have MT as a program, not T. The processing delay on the high frequencies( my mid and low frequencies are fine) is very disconcerting and I do not think aids intelligibility at all. the background white noise is excessive. Overall very disappointed

I came to the Fakenham branch last week during my eye test I found the optician quite abrupt . I have mental health problems and had to leave before the examination was over . On coming home and speaking to my wife she had the same experience when she took our son to see the same Optician .

I got my eye test done here and the same day i got another eye test done at another practice where i was given a totally different prescription!

Very expensive, a pair of reading glasses, 350 pounds absolutely ridiculous went to spec savers and got them for 69 pounds!

Mike Pollard,, uncomfortable to wear, gave up after a couple of days, received one email to say someone would be in touch with me, over two weeks ago, still no contact, no instructions how to clean etc, so stopped wearing them. Back to the drawing board! No doubt this won't be published as only the good ones do!

I was fitted with nhs hearing aids at Hobs most medical centre Olton by Scrivens & was not happy with any of it & cannot use the aids. Was not shown how to put them in & it hurts my right ear. I phoned your shop in Shirley, Solihull & felt that the receptionist was pushy & determined to do it her way, in the end I gave up. I am not convinced that I need these kind of hearing aids, although your Hobs Moat lman told me I was deaf, my Granddaughter said ‘do you really need hearing aids’.

Hi, I am writing firstly to say that the staff and management at your Loughborough store Lorraine and Theresa have always been excellent. They are efficient and caring and represent you well. Sadly , I have changed to Specsavers for my contact lens . I only use one reading lens and was paying around £17 a month with yourselves . I decided i could no longer afford this and stopped wearing it. I then wondered if i could get it cheaper anywhere else and had an appointment at Specsavers who charge me £9 a month for the same lens. I was amazed and have changed to use them. I am on my second health check with them and there has been no increase in price. I also used to have my hearing aids from the Scrivens in loughborough. But when i got to the end of the contract the only package available was one that included quite expensive batteries monthly. I don’t wear my aids all of the time, my need for batteries may well be much less than others and i buy excellent batteries on line for £10 for 60. This lasts me the year. I pay a one off fee once a year to an excellent hearing care service in Barrow . So, in short i will not be using your services in the near future. This does make me a bit sad as Lorraine and Theresa really looked after me , especially at a time when i had a major illness, they made sure I could see and hear !

WOULDEN'D GO THERE AGAIN EVEN IF YOU GAVE THE FRAMES FOR FREE. Had my specs six months and the screws fell out. My lenses are no good and I was told if I want them replaced I would have to pay for them again. No chance !!! Waste of money.

I had my Hearing AID fitted about 6 months ago in Beeston, Leeds and received excellent Service. However, Just rang the local branch for a copy of my test certificate and received no help what so ever. Told to contact Head office

I took my own new designer frames to have Lenses put in them. Great service but when I went to collect, the inside of the lid was ripped down, the case was all marked and dirty and the cloth was dirty too. Been going here for years but considering elsewhere as I paid a lot of money for my glasses
