“I’ve been a customer of Scrivens St Ives for longer than I care to remember. I have always had an excellent experience. On the rare occasion that I’ve had problems they have always dealt with them quickly and courteously. The staff are always friendly and helpful. When I had my first pair of verifocals I felt that they had plenty time to support me through the process of adjusting. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for me eye care.”

“The Staff at the Mildenhall branch where very helpful when I went in with a problem with my eye, I didn’t have an appointment but I was seen by the optician to make sure there was anything serious. I was told I had dry eyes and bought some drops which have cleared up the problem. So first service😊”

“The staff at the Hamstead branch were wonderful with my elderly mum today. To the friendly reception staff, the kind optician who took the time to give us some information we needed and the amazing hearing aid specialist who really went above and beyond with mum thank you.”

“Went to Orchard square Sheffield branch last week. Really very good service from Lesley, very professional and thorough. A great friendly atmosphere in the shop which is more like a family business feel. Highly recommend.”

“My wife phone the Chippenham branch this morning nothing was to much trouble. Made an appointment for 11am. The service was excellent everything was explain of the wax removal procedure. The lady carried out the procedure to both ears with information be given of the whole procedure couldn’t ask for any more I would like thank both ladies for the excellent service I received this morning the helpful service.”

“Graham C at Stamford is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and he explains everything clearly and simply. I was so resistant to admitting I had hearing loss and would benefit from aids but Graham was so patient and gently led me through the process. Definitely 5 stars from me”

“The problem with driving at night is the brightness and glare from LED lights. Between Christmas and New Year I took the plunge and visited the Willenhall branch for advice. The staff were not only very professional but very considerate, explaining all of my options. There was no sales pressure to buy anything that I did not want or require. Having completed my purchase I was informed that it would be a couple of weeks before my glasses would be ready. Yesterday I was informed that they had arrived. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their professionalism, friendliness and commitment to making sure that everything is satisfactory.”

“I visited Scrivens for a hearing test and 3 year review on 13 Jan 26. Graham was very professional, courteous and made the process easy and enjoyable. He explained the results chart and made sure I understand everything I needed to know. The store is spotlessly clean and the staff always very helpful. 5* for Graham.”

“Having reached 'a certain age' and aware that 'galloping' presbyopia was impinging on my eyesight, especially where driving was concerned, I was prompted to seek a solution. Over the years, I've visited various high street chains and, whilst functional, I've never felt particularly well-looked after, nor appraised of advanced options that can make such a difference where spectacles are concerned. My visit to Scrivens in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, was a revelation. The staff were, without exception, professional, welcoming and attentive. The range of frames is excellent and carefully curated, ranging from affordable to designer. Special mentions go to Optometrist Colin Chan, whose thorough and forensic examination came up with the perfect prescription and recommendations, going forward. Throughout my visits, I was looked after by Asa, whose careful attention and advice means that I've ended up with two pairs of glasses that perfectly fit the bill, not to mention, look pretty cool. Very happy customer.”

“Scrivens has been opticians of choice for a number of years. I have always found the staff to be helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about all the products and services on offer. You always have a warm welcome from the staff who are happy to tell you about the products which are reasonably priced and of a good quality with out the hard sell of some other stores. They always take time to explain everything in detail allowing you plenty of time to choose your spectacles ensuring you are happy with them. The Rugeley team a great advert for the company.”

“I've been with the Rugeley branch of Scrivens for many years for my spectacles and hearing aids. The staff are always extremely friendly there is always a lovely welcoming and warm atmosphere. Their products are reasonably rpiced and of good quality plus there is none of the hard sell as applied by the bigger companies. Time is taken to ensure that your eye tests are thorough, a large choice of spectacles with plenty of time given for perusing and choosing. As a disabled client the building is very accessible.”
