Scrivens 0pticians in Bolton, I have been going there for years didn't think they could get any better. I was wrong today they were so helpful, easy to understand and follow from the receptionist to the optician. All due credit to the team there they were excellent.

Just had my eye test at Scrivens Wolstanton, Julie and Holly always excel in customer service, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are so friendly and pleasant even when they may not feel to good themselves . these last few weeks have been horrendous for them with no air conditioning working and the office like a furnace, but I was glad to see that this has now been sorted. Well done Julie and Holly it is a pleasure to visit you.

Popped in yesterday to see if they could repair / replace the nose pads on my glasses. They could and did them straight away and even better they didn’t charge me anything for the repair. That was unexpected and very refreshing this day and age. Very helpful staff. I would use them again.

Big thank you to the staff at the Newquay branch who sorted a problem I was having with my hearing aids failing to connect to the app. Being on holiday I had struggled for 2 days trying to establish a connection and desperately needed them to work. Staff sorted the problem in no time with no charge. Sorry I can't remember your names but many thanks to you both. 10th July

Went to the Bolton branch for an eye test. A very beautiful, polite, helpful young lady called Julie helped me after my test. We went through a range of glasses and finally picked a pair and ordered them with her. Will definitely come back for sunglasses and possibly contacts in the future.

I have had the very best customer care. I have been so well looked after by Ru at Scrivens Lymington. It has taken me ages to adapt to hearing aids. Ru has tried moulds, and lots of recalabrating. The moulds were not comfortable for me, so today, we reverted back, but I'm sure I've had more than my fair share of appointments. Honestly, nothing has been too much trouble. Every time I walk through the door, everyone is pleased to see me! It's an amazing service, and I am very thankful that I opted for Scrivens. It's been a wonderful service.

On holidays in Newquay and went into Scrivens with a problem with hearing aid filter and cover. Staff were very friendly and problem solved within minutes. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

On visiting Scrivens Opticians while on holiday, I found the staff friendly and very helpful. My frames were straightened and the lens cleaned…This is a good company.

Today I had new hearing aids fitted by Ellie at Scrivens in East St, Bedminster, Bristol. I have had very good and considered care from the audiologist Ellie, my hearing is now clearer and I feel more comfortable in social situations.

Was my first visit to scrivens in Shaw and I must say I'm really happy with my new glasses.the staff are really friendly and very helpful.im happy to say I will be returning when I'm due for new glass

I had a letter on 20June advising me to book an appointment for a review eye test. I repeatedly phoned the number given on the letter and got an engaged signal. I then went to the address yesterday - and found the premises boarded up and shut off. Does the company not know anything about its branches?

This letter was sent in error, it should have come from our Weymouth branch, which will be your nearest branch while we are still working on getting the Dorchester branch reopened following the fire that occurred at the end of last year. The Audiologist at Harwich Essex shop listens carefully, is very patient with us elderly folk, is approachable and gives effective and professional advice . Reception too are welcoming and very helpful. Not at all like the service from head office telephone reception.

Appointment for eye test and contact lens checked book in for 11am - this was booked a month in advance. At 11.30am still not been called into the optician - on asking a member of the team how long was it going to be they replied "at least another 5-10 mins". Not one member of staff spoke to me whilst I was waiting, nor apologised for the delay or even informed there would be a delay. Why was another appointment booked in at the same time ? Very poor customer service - have been a regular customer for many years.

Whilst Michael Sharpstone at your North Finchley branch is an excellent, caring optometrist and the service received for my wife's new glasses was excellent, I can not say this about the shop assistant / receptionist in charge of dispensing glasses. After my wife saw Michael, she went to choose her new glasses frame. Unfortunately he was not at all interested in helping her and only wanted to get us out of the shop quickly so that he could have his lunch (at 4.00 pm). He told us that he hadn't eaten all day, but that wasn't our fault. He was more interested in his stomach than serving customers who basically pay his salary through sales. Then when we came to pick up the new glasses, I asked the same shop assistant what my wife's prescription was for her reading glasses. I am visually impaired and carry a white cane at all times. He told me to look at the prescription we were given. I found this deeply insulting, rude, uncaring and unprofessional as i had to wave my white cane at him and told him I can't see to read the prescription that's why i asked him. I think he got the message as he then told me, but it shouldn't have come to that as he should have told me straight away. He was just being lazy. He needs complete re-training.

Called the Hedge End Branch and spoke to Kelly . She organised an a appointment within a few hours . Got to the office , Sat with her and she explained a lot of things to do with hearing aids . All the staff in there are so helpful and professinal . Kelly explained a lot of other things ,wax removal and tech stuff that I can use my phone to control volume of my hearing aids. Thank you all at the Hedge End Branch
