Can’t Thank the Mildenhall Team enough for making me feel so at ease during my appointment. Like many, I personally dislike wearing my glasses. They all made me feel so confident with the new set & even helped me trial some contacts. I feel so lucky to have an opticians as good as this! Special Thankyou to Michelle for being so lovely but for also fitting me in around work! 😁

I had a problem with my hearing aids and had an appointment at Dovercourt branch. The lady audiologist was very knowledgeable and very helpful and they are now 100% better. Very happy with my appointment

Having booked a hearing appointment with scrivens for my 94 year old mother, I was contacted yesterday and told that the appointment that was made a while ago had to be cancelled due to an ADMIN error. This was two days before the appointment. As it’s all on computer I can’t see how this can be. On asking how this had happened the chap kept saying they were sorry. Well sorry isn’t good enough for a 94 year old lady who has memory problems, also has one broken hearing aid and another that needs looking at. They don’t have internet, don’t have a smart phone, are hard of hearing and walking. I have a feeling that they were bumped off due to their age. Come on scrivens get it sorted. The truth as to why would also go a long way, insincere sorry does not cut the mustard. Let’s hope the re scheduled appointment in two weeks time won’t be cancelled 😡..

My 90 year old mum has had a very poor experience with you. She paid £2,300 for private hearing aids. They arrived in April, and by August, one of them had stopped working. She was told that because it was 'user damage' (very strange when she had only had them for about three months and is always extremely careful with them), she would need to pay a further £300 for repairs. Almost four weeks later, she is still waiting for the hearing aid to be repaired and returned, an appointment was cancelled at the last minute today, as apparently they had not arrived. She has severe hearing loss, and cannot currently participate in any of the social events she enjoys. Daily tasks are difficult. She was not offered any interim help while the hearing aid was repaired. I complained to local branch and your HQ, only to be met with excuses - she was sold the wrong hearing aid, it's 'the system' and nothing can be done, oh and if she'd shelled out a load more money when she bought them she would be covered for so-called 'user damage.' A very shoddy way to treat your customers, many of whom will be elderly.

First time I had visited Scrivens new Opticians facility in Wimborne. Very impressed with the quality of service and selection of frames. From entering the shop, having all the tests, choosing and collecting the new pair of varifocals the service was friendly and professional. It was also pleasant to visit a comfortable, spacious, air conditioned environment with carpeted flooring which allowed me to perfectly hear all the information being given to me. An excellent experience

I have no hesitation in saying that the customer service I receive is excellent at the Opticians. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. You are always welcomed with a smile. There are many glasses to choose from at various prices. I would highly recommend them.

I have been using the Banbury Branch for some time now, transferring from the Chipping Norton Branch following transport issue getting there. I have always been greeted with a welcoming smile, minimal waiting time, courtesy and a willingness to listen even if they have heard the same question a hundred times before. If the occasion arose, I would certainly recommend them. In respect of hearing, the necessary operatives are not there on the only day I can get transport to Banbury with limited time there.

Customer service is second to none. It's always a pleasure to go to Scrivens at Malton. Everyone there gives 100% every time - from having a small screw tightened in your glasses to having a full eye test and choosing new glasses. Highly recommended - I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic service, from booking in, follow up calls to ensure of your booking commitment then right through to the initial consultation to eye test! No pressure to buy there spectacles and they have a re-glazing service should you have a favourite pair of spectacles or buying of frames elsewhere. Also they use Nikon and Zeiss lenses! Heaven!

Fishponds branch, the staff were very polite, I was made to feel at ease, my prescription hadn't changed and didn't feel pressured into buying new glasses like so many other optician chains. They were very helpful offering to adjust my current glasses, with the invitation to look at new frames if I wanted.

Aftersales care is non-existant. It is impossible to contact my local store in Stafford by phone on a Saturday. After spending £3,000 on hearing aids I would expect to be able to make an appointment to speak to the Audiologists when I have a problem. I have tried 2 other nearby practices and they don't answer their phones either, after a few rings the calls get diverted to Customer care, which doesn't work on a Saturday.
