“Having been in front line food retail for over 30 years with Sainsbury's, Waitrose and M&S, I think I have the qualifications to say what an excellent customer focused team you have at your branch in Bitterne precinct, Southampton. I would like to mention Optometrist Jason Date-Chong who suggested going back to wearing vary focal's which I always wore in retail and has worked very well. Finally at my age, and also being in the care Southampton Eye Hospital, I get vey nervous about the condition of my eyes and Jason had an excellent 'Bedside manner'!!”

“Shout out to the Feltham branch on behalf of my mum Pauline, one person in particular, Kevin her HAA, who has been absolutely fantastic with her over the past 16 months. I've reviewed previously and mentioned the difficulties with my mum's ears. On top of that and without giving too much detail here, last year was a very tough year for her health wise, Kevin has been so kind, caring and considerate towards her, it was lovely to witness. So often elderly people are not given a voice or valued and often made to feel a nuisance, Kevin made her feel she was the most important person in a 20 mile radius - she in turn highly values him. Solely based on Kevin's excellent knowledge and care a friend of mine has now booked in for an appointment on 6 October to have private hearing aids from Scrivens ...sadly for her, Kevin has just relocated, Feltham's loss is N.London's gain. If orders are commission based we as a family really hope Scrivens takes into account how this order come to be and acknowledge that without Kevin she would have probably ended up elsewhere. Even though he's no longer at the branch, I was able to tell my friend with confidence that I know she'll still be well taken care of. My last call out goes to the lovely young lady in front of house who noticed my mum entering the shop on our last visit and shot forwards to open both doors for her to make access easier, on the way out the branch manager, Dipesh did the same. It's random acts of kindness like that that make Scrivens stand out from the crowd and knocks their competitors out the park. Thank you Feltham.”

“I found the person that saw to me . Was not interested in what I had to ask talked to me as if I was an idiot in over a year l have been there only twice. Nothing wrong with aids . Thought there would be a follow up to check the hearing aid does not want to be turned up as people get older hearing loss is important to us.”

“I had been a long time customer of Specsavers, but since I had a issue with the I then came to Scrivens a completely different company. I have been attended to at all times.Brilliant staff,very caring, professional.”

“Hi, I'm 62 , male and have been a customer of Scrivens for all of my adult life for over 40 years. Before they were named Ronald Brown Opticians. Always excellent professional friendly family customer service. I have known the staff at my High Wycombe branch for 11 years now. Having purchased many pairs of spectacles from them, including prescription safety glasses (PPE) for work in construction at Heathrow airport. Every 2 years I undergo a very thorough eyesight examination to keep my eyes healthy and working at their utmost efficiency. I would recommend Scrivens to anyone who seeks to understand how their eyes work and hearing too. I've been tempted to switch to cheaper practices over the years,( Specsavers, Boots, etc.) But none of them come close to Scrivens attention to detail and overall customer support. Well done to you all who work on the front line serving the British public. I can't praise their efforts enough. Thanks, stay safe regards Martin Gildea.”

“The shop is never open and the time it’s taking to get my glasses I should have gone to specsavers as they are quicker and cheaper”

“Absolutely lovely staff at Heanor. Nothing is too much trouble. Even when you loose your glasses 👓 no problem except being told to keep them on your eyes not your head lol 💯 % recommended 🙂”

“I have been a customer with Scrivens Stapleford for a few years now. The service is friendly and professional. I have actually made friends with the ladies there. My Dad is now in a Residential Home and needed new glasses so I took him to become a new customer where I go. The ladies made him feel relaxed, welcome, looked after and 'special' and we even had a giggle or two. I would recommend anyone to this branch without hesitation.”

“Absolutely didn't realise that I got an added bonus of an earring test with my eye check-up. Whilst visiting the site,In Swadlincote , near Burton up on Trent staffs,I found that all the staff , including the option were more than helpful . 10/10 from myself I most certainly will be going again”

“Hi I had an eye test which i needed a new pair of glasses.The staff were very friendly and new their job.The reason i gave 4 stars was the waiting time and the time the test took was 1 and a half hours.”
