Installer scheduled today didn’t turn up. No communication from anyone. When I called it took over 30 minutes in queue to speak to customer service who assured me installation would definitely take place today, but Engineer was delayed on previous job. Got a call about 30 minutes later to say engineer didn’t turn up for work! They could reschedule over a week later. I said that’s not good enough and want it sooner than that, promised to get back to me today and they haven’t. They have over £1000 upfront payment. I have an electric car on drive with no charge and no charger. Would have purchased a petrol car if I know it was going to be so much hassle. Took unpaid leave from work and spent the evening before moving all the storage boxes in garage ready for installation. Really disappointed ☹️

Very happy with the installation the gentleman was very polite, it was very quick with little mess and the installer explained everything clearly.

Tried to call to ascertain whether broadband was essential or desirable for the install. 14th in the queue. Tried again, big queue. Therefore cancelled online via the email I had. It said it was cancelled. Therefore did not go the house the following day. Podpoint was then installed without my knowledge. I did not get to specify where it went. Listed building, conservation area, multiple caveats on what goes where and the “street scene” etc. It now has a podpoint facing the road rather than hidden at the side. Why did the online thing say it was cancelled. Why would you not ask the homeowner exactly where they want it? Sent pics of the area and where power supply was but wanted to direct so it wasn’t facing the road.

The ordering process was straightforward with all the options available being explained. Because we were looped on our supply they need to confirm, via an application form completed by them on my behalf, with Northern Power Grid as to what had to be done before hand. National Power Grid responded saying no remedial works were needed so the installation could be booked. Jason arrived on time and installed the charging pod very neatly with the cable run being kept internal and going straight into the back of the pod on the outside wall. Set up the app and made sure all was running smoothly. A nice tidy installation.

Helpful from order to installation. No trouble arranging a date and time that was convenient for me. The electrician who conducted the installation was super helpful. The electrician arrived early, explained everything clearly and then finished off by taking time to ensure that I understood how to use it. Very impressive.

Very pleased with every step of getting a home charger for my car from podpoint. Cheaper total cost than others offering the same service.Thank you Podpoint. Oh and they gave me a five year warranty for free.

Craig our Installer was very good, and extremely patient. I was bombarding him with questions, and he dealt with all of them with a smile. We discussed the positioning of the Pod and he pointed out the best position for our needs.

When I ordered my Pod Point I expected a lead time of, at best, 2-3 weeks. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised to be offered an installation slot within 48 hrs. The online survey required pre-fitting was very straightforward and the installation technician messaged the day before the appointment. On arrival Ethan was polite and professional, with no aspect of the fit too much trouble. The work was completed within 3 hours and to a very high standard and I am delighted with the product.
