I am impressed with the Pod Point experience. The price was very competitive, I'd done my research and the functionality matches my requirements. The installation went well. The technician spoke to me at length to establish what I expected. He met those expectations. It works as anticiped and I am very happy. I recommend Pod Point for your hone EV charger requirements.

I had the system installed within the week. Installer was very friendly and turned up exactly on time. Charger itself is very easy to use as is the app. 7.5 metre tethered cable allows lots of reach so I no longer need to shuffle the cars to charge

Terrible customer service - limited ability to speak so they communicate through email - most of the ones I get are apologies for delayed responses. The app is virtually pre-war! Cannot give you live info (you have to wait until it’s finished / you unplug before you know how many miles you’ve added) The unit is ugly, large and tells you virtually nothing unless you go on the app The WiFi signal from the unit is a cheap unit - have had regular drop outs when the rest of the house (inside and outside eg Ring floodlight cameras etc) are fully operational. Poor support in these instances (like, none as I only use the home charger at the weekend as I have a good one at my office (BP)) Some simple advice - improve the app (re issues above) also - if the car is plugged into the unit - just charge the car!!!! Even if there is a schedule set-up (for the next day) it’s obvious the car wants charged NOW otherwise you’re messing about with schedules v manual charging (you have to select one or the other). If you keep manual then the unit doesn’t have the brains to charge for a period of time so just keeps going - not what you want when you get free electricity at work. Employ Customer Care advisors - not the numpties that work there currently who don’t use their initiative / clearly lazy or understaffed judging by the responses and the time taken (interestingly, they respond much quicker when reviews like this are posted - clearly they only care about sales and not after-sales service) Employ better quality installers - had a nightmare with the fool who did the instal - gave wrong information at the 1st attempt then didn’t carry out a simple action that would ah e completed it so had to wait several days for the completion). This was all after completing an extensive pre-instal document with several requested photos - they clearly didn’t look at them otherwise they would have turned up with the £1 clamp or advised it needed done - crazy as they wanted the earth clamped to an alcathene pipe - jeez - it’s plastic so a pointless exercise) All the above said, the cost incurred is way more expensive that the other offerings. Speaking to others who didn’t make the same mistake as me and chose another manufacturer / installer it seems most other options are preferable. I chose mine as it was offered when I ordered the car. Wish I had done my research so I’m not in this continual situation of rubbish hardware / software / customer care.

From start to finish the service was excellent, you should not be surprised to get a slick professional service when you buy a product but I could not fault anything. The engineer was prompt, professional and tidy and answered all the questions.

I am very pleased with the whole aspect of purchasing a charger with Pod Point. Their website is set up very well, and you answer some simple questions to establish if you'll have a standard installation. You then decide to go ahead and then provide more detailed information and pictures. The price was the best out there as there were no extra costs like with other installers.

Very efficient when the team arrived to fit my charger. On line tracker for when they arrived did not track the installers, but they arrived on time and completed the install within the time keeping me informed as they progressed. I was given a run through of how to operate the charger after they had paired it up to my WiFi. Simple process from start to finish with Pod Point providing all the necessary paperwork for me to send to my DNO so they could check if my power supply was suitable.

I was very impressed by the professional service I received throughout my ordering and installation of my Solo 3 charger. Clear email communication arranging installation date and received apologetic telephone calls rearranging appointment when installer fell unwell. Installation undertaken by a very polite engineer who explained how the installation would go. Installation was quick, very efficient, very clean and tidy workmanship. Engineer commissioned the charger and explained how it operated and we tested it out too! Very impressive service overall and delighted with our new Solo 3 charger.

I was disappointed that I had to pay the full installation cost of £1000 to install a replacement Pod Point unit which was just fitted on to the old wiring, especially when the original Pod Point only lasted 5 years

Pretty remarkable service all round. Ordered last Sunday and by Thursday EV charger was installed and working! The guy who did the installation was professional and quick.
