“Did what they needed to do to get my home charger installed. This included an on-site survey, installation and demonstration of the charger working and being disconnected. We got off to a bumpy start where I was waiting for the site survey to confirm if it was possible to put the charger in the location we wanted. After two weeks of waiting, I was told that if I paid for the installation the survey would be prioritised. So I did. And it was. Unfortunately the installation process had to be done in two separate visits, one week apart. However I am very pleased with the end result: They have put the charger in the location we wanted and it charges the vehicle. Some of the communication from PodPoint was acronym-heavy and I had to call to ask for their questions to be translated into plain English, but their phone system is amongst the best I have ever experienced. They answered quickly, knew who I was and could answer the questions there and then. Very impressed with this aspect of their customer relations.”

“Been having WiFi connections problems since installation over 2 yes ago. This does no effect any other device I have connected to my WiFi. It's intermittent but has gradually got worse over time to present day where I can no longer reconnect manually following the podpoint guide. On one occasion it was suggested there was a motherboard fault but at no time could I get an engineer to come. I am now no longer able to use the timed settings in the podpoint app to take advantage of cheap electric overnight and the only way to do this is to stay up until 12:30 at night and then plug the charger into the car, else I have to charge at the more expensive day rate. It's getting rediculous so I have decided to lodge a formal complaint. Just waiting for someone to send me the complaints procedure. If I don't get it it I guess I'll have to go through the Ombudsman. Appalling service. Such a shame cus when the charger does work it's great and the app is very useful.”

“The pod point is great BUT there is lack of coordination between the office and the engineers. We had two different engineers that came and both needed to do a survey because the first survey was not passed on. We also found it difficult to get all the information that was needed for an easy installation.”
