Booking was prompt, the self-survey of installation very straightforward and installation was performed very professionally and exactly how I wanted it, no mess or issues at all (and that was with an internal incoming mains and fuse board). Very pleased with the product too, works very well.

Installation was very good and very professionally done. Unfortunately the experience using the ap is very poor and charging has proved inconsistent and inconvenient.

Quick to be organised, friendly engineer installing who was considerate of his work, tidying up after himself. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that I found the online form, where I had to upload multiple photos of my property didn’t work, and I had to then retake all the photos and email across. The engineer then said he hadn’t received them anyway so seemed a pointless task and a waste of my time

Danny the installer was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. There was a problem with the electric meter reading being too high, which he explained very clearly that the DNO (district network office) could only deal with. I did have to ring Podpoint several times to follow up with getting the DNO out to adjust the meter, but the PodPoint call centre responded promptly to my calls and did what they said they'd do, so all was sorted in the end.

We first contacted Pod Point on a Wednesday and the installation was complete the following Monday – that's excellent customer service. There is plenty of information available on the Pod Point website but some questions (like how to set up the Pod Point app etc) remain unanswered. It came with pre-ordained timings for overnight charging, which we didn't want to do as we have solar panels and our car is a hybrid (as opposed to full electric), but there was no explanation about how to operate the system incorporating the use of solar panels etc. A call to Pod Point got the settings taken off but there's no explanation about how to plug the car in overnight but set the charging time for the next day. It would have been helpful if the app had been demonstrated to us on the day of installation, rather than just being set up. These are minor points and we have got round the app problems. On the whole, the service was very good.

Pod point we’re unbelievably efficient. I ordered the unit on a Tuesday and filled in the installation form that evening and emailed back to them. I had a message from them the following morning saying the unit would be fitted the next day! EDF arrived 8.15am Thursday and it was all finished by 11.00am. Literally two days from ordering to installation. Very pleased.

I am really disappointed overall with the service. Response times from customer service is dreadful and we were charged over £600 for ground work when the contractor stated he was being paid £220 for the work so the rest going to Podpoint. It was a tiny strip of grass that was dug up and relaid so I am really annoyed at this cost.

Adam was very pleasant and knew exactly what to do. He had a very friendly manner and the job was completed promptly. Very impressed with the service provided The online order was less efficient as some 9f the questions are far too technical for the ordinary lay man.

I am positively impressed with the POD Point with their service from start to finish. The pricing was very clear and there was nothing ambiguous about the whole process. The installation was done at the time agreed and I had a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

All pre-install processes went very well and quickly. The installer arrived and was very surly about how the wiring would be done. We had sent pictures of the route inside the garage and made it clear we wanted the wiring inside. He refused and said the entire wall of shelving would have to be cleared. (This was not pointed out in the pre-install photo process). This was impossible (shelving is fixed to wall). We suggested he could run the wire along the top where it was clear, he refused saying he would have to lean a ladder about 18 inches to get that high. He insisted the cabling be done on the outside of the house (unsightly). He left debris at every point (wire fragments, sawdust, brick dust, and nothing was cleared up. He asked if he could leave the cardboard box and packing in our recycling bin. I agreed. He then asked me to separate and bin it for him. All in all a most unfriendly and unhelpful experience. He forgot to leave me the POD ID until I reminded him. He gave us a booklet and talked us through nothing else.

As requested a site survey was completed and sent to you and a day was arranged for the installation, when your installer came to our property we were told the installation could not be completed due to the incorrect RCB being present it took a further 2 visits for the installation to be completed the operative who came on the 3rd visit was very helpfull

The electrician turned up promptly and completed the work to a very good standard - the internal trunking was very neat. He also gave me some practical advice about using it. Very happy.
