“Ordered from Pine and Needles past two years. The first tree was hands down the best tree we have ever had, but this year’s tree is not quite as shapely and best suited if you wish to place it against a wall… Just a pity though that the side facing the room has a bald patch in the middle. Contrary to others costumer, I find the customer service has good.”

“Ordered a 4ft potted fir tree, which came to a total of £98 inc. delivery. Bearing also in mind this is the exact same order made in 2016m which cost £80 inc. delivery. When the tree arrived its no more than about 3ft tall, lost if you place it on the floor. Appearance almost half the size of the previous year. The label read 4-5ft. This is clearly a joke - this company should be reported to Trading Standards. The prices are unacceptably high and the items falsely labeled and undersold. I've asked for a refund and waiting for a response.”

“We have had 9' Nordmann fir Christmas trees from Pines and Needles since 2010 and ,although expensive they have been worth it - they have always been beautiful. This year however we are most disappointed - I feel that perhaps the company is getting too big and quality is suffering. When our order arrived we were given a tree that was only 8'4" although we'd paid for a 9' tree. As there was no other suitable tree on the van I called Pines and Needles who immediately organised a replacement the same day. That aspect of the service is very good. Now the tree is up it compares very badly with those we've had in previous years. It is very 'skinny' and the trunk is not quite straight. Because the branches are so short near the bottom they droop visibly with the decorations. It's not a disaster but we had specifically requested a full tree as we have the space. I just feel we've been given what's left. Don't want to ask for another replacement as it's so near Christmas now . Oh well- will consider a different supplier next time.”

We grow our own Christmas trees in our plantations and every tree is unique in shape and size, we like to say 'perfectly imperfect'...We try to ensure that customers are selected a tree that suits but we apologise that the tree was in this case not up to our high standards that we strive to maintain. “the only place to get a tree , i have been using pines and needles for the last 4 years and always happy with the tree and the service, this year bought my tree from the shoreditch site and loved my 7ft tree, a great big thank you to robbie for being patient and helpfull in choosing the right tree!!!”

“We just bought our Christmas tree at Fulham Broadway branch yesterday. Ricardo & Valdo were amazing, very friendly and very helpful when we were at the store and they made our experience very enjoyable. My husband and I are very delightful. Thank you so much”

“We've been buying our tree from Pines & Needles in Wembley for 4 years now. This year we were beyond disappointed to find that three was full with mud all around. Upon installing it bits of mud kept falling off and the floor quickly became full of it. Husband and I have washed it for several hours and repeated the process next day to remove all dirt as it dried on and was left brown. It seems that the workers were careless in handling it and didn't consider the fact that the three ends up in someone's living room. Gutted as spent £56 on a 6 feet tree.”

Dear Customer, Apologies for the muddy christmas tree. They are natural products brought down straight from the plantations and we do try and hose them down to prevent excess mud being taken home. “I bought a tree from the Hampstead Heath branch where I found the service simply awful, we waited for around 10 minutes for 3 employees to assist just one customer, there was no requirement for this and it made my family and I wait an unnecessary amount of time. We spent in excess of £60 on a 6ft tree that sadly we threw away yesterday as it had died. Despite our best efforts to keep it alive it was simply a bad tree and shouldn’t have been sold. I have given the company the chance to avoid this review as I’ve reached out in writing but I’ve been ignored. We’re now off to buy another tree from a competitor and felt obliged to share this. A very unhappy customer.”

Dear Customer, We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our service. You spoke to our team yesterday who advised you that we would happily give you a replacement tree as per our guarantee and 10% off for 2018 as an apology. As our Christmas trees are a perishable item, every tree is unique in every way and unfortunately there is no way we can guarantee survival in another environment especially when they are no longer in our care but we can replace it for you. We are sorry that our policy was not to your satisfaction and you chose to go elsewhere. We will take on board your review to improve our services for 2018.
